Well stocked, spacious apartment with gorgeous view from balcony

Barbara greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect setting for 2 couples traveling together with the 2 king bedroom/ bathroom suites. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and chatting in the mornings and evenings. We cooked in some and used the pool charcoal grill area right across from the unit. There was always a sea breeze and you could hear the crashing waves. We walked the beach and swam in the pool daily. There were several restaurants, a souvenir shop and grocery within a walking block on the main road. We rented a car to see some of the attractions elsewhere. We attended a conference at the Marriott, which was a few blocks away, a beautiful hotel, but so nice to get away from the crowds. It was a wonderful experience. The complex is very quiet with friendly guests, most of whom are there for the season and are quite informative.

Island Paradise

Hummingbird Rest in located in a very nice area of St. Kitts. The surroundings are beautiful and the area is very quiet and peaceful. The unit was perfect for 2 couples sharing as each bedroom was a master suite with adjoining identical baths. The AC in the bedrooms was excellent. Very quick cool down and quiet. Barbara was a great help to us, especially when we lost our keys (probably in the Caribbean Sea) and she needed to let us into the unit. After a short wait she rescued us and was so kind about it. The kitchen was well-stocked and we cooked 6 of the 14 nights we stayed. Netflix was a real bonus. We were able to watch a couple of movies and when our freinds retired early my huband and I continued our binge-watching of Breaking Bad. We enjoyed sitting out by the Atlantic at the resort one day when they called for rain, which never happened. But we went to beaches almost every day. Cockelshell is our favortie, but Shipwreck has chairs and umbreallas for free, maybe just eat there or buy a drink. WE really enjoyed Rock Lobster and Jam Rock restaurants as well as Boozies for dinner.

Hummingbirds Rest

We had a wonderful stay and the apartment met all of our families needs. The location is good and there are lots of great places to eat nearby. The pool is a stones throw from the apartment and you will find all the home comforts you need for a relaxing break in the beauty of St Kitts. Thanks to Barbara for her hospitality and great communication.

Relaxing and Peaceful

Hummingbird Rest was everything we hoped for and more. Barbara was great. She was waiting for us when we arrived and walked us through the apartment. We really appreciated everything she did. The unit was clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook with. A full refrigerator and range stop stove. There are two bedrooms with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Each room has a bathroom with plenty of towels. There is one TV in the unit it's very nice with Netflix and Starz. Electricity was 110 volt so we had no problem charging phones or laptops. You can hear the sound of the Atlantic Ocean from the balcony and the view is amazing. There is a beach on the grounds by the pagoda. It's a great way to start a day. Catch a sunrise, go for a peaceful walk along the beach with the sound of the ocean. Don't swim here the surf is very rough. Location was excellent lots of places to eat, many within walking distance. All in all Hummingbird Rest is a excellent place to stay for a St. Kitts adventure.

The condo was perfect for us, it felt like a home from home. Well situated and fully equipped condo.

We had a fantastic time at Hummingbird Rest, which is located a 5-10 minute walk from the strip. The strip has approximately 10 beach bars offering a range of food from fresh lobster to curried goat. There is a supermarket close by and other restaurants, the Marriot is a 5 minute walk in the other direction. You can eat in the Marriot or there is a selection of nice restaurants adjacent to it. The accomadation is well presented and comfortable. The aircon in the bedrooms are a welcome relief on those hot nights! The kitchen has a good selection of appliances, cutlery and utensils. The swimming pool is right outside approx 20 yards away. Whilst we stayed we had the pool to ourselves and it felt like our private pool! We enjoyed sitting on the veranda sipping cocktails with fantastic views of the Atlantic. Barbara the owner was very friendly and welcoming meeting us on arrival and offered handy pieces of advice. She obviously cares a lot about her guests and could not do enough to help us enyoy our stay.We have already decided that we will be coming back! St Kitts is in our hearts, everybody was so friendly. We hired a car with ABC cars and explored the island, taking in the port of Bassetere and Brimstone Hill. There were breathtaking views and clear blue skies this truly is a beautiful island. I managed to fit in a round of golf at Royal ST Kitts which is a 10 minute walk from the condo to the club house, however some of the holes run parralel to the road outside Hummingbird Rest. The course is a good test of golf with views of the Caribbean Sea on the front nine and the Atlantic on the back nine. It was in excellent condition with the St Kitts open being held there the previous week. If a relaxing holiday takes your fancy then we could not recommend a stay here any higher. The best part is there are plenty of options if you wish to blow off a bit of steam too. Rum punch and cocktails are all a short walk away!

Perfect Location

This condo is set in the perfect location. On the Atlantic side and a 10-15 minute walk to the Caribbean side. There are plenty of restaurant available within walking distance, such as Shiggidy Shack, Boozies, The dock, Patsy's and many more on the strip. The closest being Rock Lobster and Rituals. A small convenience store is practically in the back yard. The condo is very nice for the price offered, they just finished remodeling. Maybe they could use a few more hooks in the bathroom for towels and the sheets and blankets Never stayed on the bed. The pool is just steps from the building. The nicest thing about the place is the friendly owners that stay there for a few months at a time, we enjoyed their company and had a great time with them. Many of them have been coming here for over 20 years. All in all its a nice place and very peaceful. Barbara was helpful in making the transfer and answered all emails promptly.

Comfortable stay in St. Kitts

This property was very comfortable, clean and convenient to everything the island has to offer. Very close to the Marriott Resort which offers, fine dining, a casino and wonderful pool. The property has a small pool and has an ocean view, and the owner did everything she could to make us feel comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property and would consider staying here again if we were to return to the island in the future.
