Beautiful, Affordable, Close to famous Siesta Beach...

Enjoy the best that beautiful Bay Oaks has to offer. This 4th floor corner condo has been remodeled. With 1152 square feet, this 2BR/2BA condo has a living room, dining room, kitchen and screened lanai where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening refreshments overlooking huge oak trees. The spacious living/dining room has tile floors and two large leather sofas, perfect for viewing TV/DVD. The kitchen has granite countertops, all appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen pantry is a full-sized washer and dryer.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with tropical decor, 2 nightstands and a large dresser/mirror with TV. A large walk-in closet adjoins the dressing room, and the private tiled-bath with tub/shower. The second bedroom provides 2 twin beds, nightstand and tall chest. A large walk-through closet leads to the second bathroom (which also has an entry into the hall). This fully-tiled bathroom includes tub/shower sink console and toilet. All linens--towels, beach towels, and bed linens are provided. The condo's assigned parking space is covered--and right in front of the building for ease of access.

Finally, we give our guests access to the 'owners' closet,' for additional storage. The closet is adjacent to the screened-in lanai and provides the perfect storage for our guests' golf clubs, beach chairs, etc.

Bay Oaks is just across the street (Midnight Pass Road) from crystal sand Crescent Beach, and a short walk to Siesta Beach, named the #1 beach in Florida by Dr. Beach and the Travel Channel. Bay Oaks is a serene, family-friendly complex that sits on the IntraCoastal Waterway. On the waterway, you can sit on the dock and fish, watch the boats go by, and perhaps meet new friends. The Bay Oaks property is beautifully landscaped, with a heated pool, lounge chairs, a tennis court, and three charcoal grills. The clubhouse features a library, piano, WiFi, a pool table and a kitchen/meeting room for parties.Just a few blocks down Midnight Pass Road, you will find a market, restaurants, boat, jet ski and bicycle rentals. Or, go a few more blocks to Siesta Key Village--a fun 'Margarita-style' resort village with shops, restaurants and entertainment. Siesta Key provides easy access to the mainland and the beautiful, historical Sarasota, and its museums, restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Get away!

We had an excellent experience staying with Michael and Toni, the condo is very clean and well equipped with everything you will need...excellent communication to make sure everything was perfect. Will definitely stay again!

Great Location

My husband and I stayed the month of February 2025 and had a great time. Mike and Toni were awesome hosts - they met us upon arrival and showed us around and offered suggestions on places to visit. The condo was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. It is also convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Weā€™re looking forward to our stay next year.

Great month at Bay Oaks

The property is good and in keeping with expectations for Bay Oaks and Siesta Key in general. The host, Mike Collier, is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and minor issues were quickly resolved. Example - being English we were looking for a kettle, none there so Mike immediately went and bought one.

Key to comfort on the Key

Ever have a property owner easily accessible to you and even meet you @ check-in? Mike does! Elevator access with luggage carts to move in this spacious 4th floor condo. It's bright and open and "everything works" ! Trolley stop is right in front of the bldg. Pool is large and heated. Reclining leather couch and loveseat for ultimate relaxation at day's end in front of large "smart" tv. End unit allows for more privacy, even on the screened-in lanai. You'll miss it when you're gone!

From the time I booked to the day we left there was amazing communication with the property manager! The room is very well kept! Thereā€™s a closet with beach chairs, fishing tackle, beach umbrellas and more! The beds, pillows, and sheets were clean and very comfortable! The pool was very relaxing. There was amazing fishing off the dock. We caught snook, snapper, jacks, redfish, and stingrays! Itā€™s very conveniently located as well. Not to far from the beach or the south Daquiri Deck! Also thereā€™s a tram stop right out front! I will definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect with our stay here! I had read the other reviews and decided to request a reservation! It totally lived up to my expectations! Mike was great to deal with and so very helpful! I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom condo steps from the beach. Lovely pool and grounds. Even fishing in harbour available on property. Great location close to everything. I would definitely book this condo again.

Siesta Key deserves the title!

The beach is gorgeous, and this condo was a lovely place to come "home" to. Mike and Tony were gracious and helpful, the condo was spacious and comfortable, and the complex is conveniently located. We watched sunrises from the pier on the intracoastal (behind the property) and then sunsets from the beach on the gulf shore. Hop on The Frog, a free local transportation service, or the Trolley to get to either end of the key, but Bay Oaks is just a short walk to the beach. The Village is fun and lively. We recommend this unit and would return again! :)

A great place to stay!

This condo in Siesta Key is in a great and quiet location. Close to everything you need and is very nicely furnished. The beds are super comfortable and the owner packs the place with everything you could need (beach chairs, umbrella, etc). We will return to this condo in the future!

Loved it, will be back!

I cannot say no if about this condo or the owner. The condo itself was immaculate and furnished with everything you would need and more. The furniture itself was comfy and made you feel at home. The beds were comfortable and pillows were amazing which is rare. Mike, the owner, was wonderful and extremely friendly. He actually met us at 8:30 to make sure we were able to get everything unloaded and into the unit. Then gave us great ideas and tips about where to go and what to do on the island. He was also easily accessible for any questions or suggestions you might need at any time. The location is amazing everything was accessible either by foot or the free taxis, which are souped up golf carts and a lot of fun. The beach is within walking distance, the bay with a beautiful dog is located on the grounds, in the main siesta key beach is less than a mile from the condo. For nighttime the village is a fun and lively atmosphere and just a 5 min golf cart ride away. (Just be sure and tip the driver). If you want to leave the island Ć¼ber is cheaper and easier then driving. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our trip and that was largely in part of Mike and his condo. We felt at home while we were there. And Mike made you feel like you had known him for years instantly. Definitely worth the great price!! Next time we take a girls trip, I will definitely be calling and renting from Mike again.

Excellent choice for families

This condo checks all the boxes for a nice family vacation: walkable to two beaches, good swimming pool on site, clean, comfortable, will stocked with beach supplies and some condiments and most importantly, gracious hosts. A lot of this is covered in the other reviews and I would encourage you to read their experiences because we had similar good experiences.

Look no further for your best location on Siesta Key

Our experience with the condo and owner (Mike C) were both 5-star. Location is perfect - approx. a mile? from the nearest entrance to the beach. You could either drive or take a nice walk. For the price, this place really can't be beat. I can't say enough good things. The condo itself is clean and in the perfect place. Our kids loved the pool and tennis court. The owner gives guests access to the closet which had a beach stroller, umbrella, and toys. This was invaluable to us, as we can't pack these kinds of things for a flight. Most of all, the owner is fantastic. He helped us every step of the way - good contract, great communication, recommendations, and even helped recover a stuffed elephant our son had left in his bed at the condo. I should also note that I don't just gush praise on everything - this was the only "vendor" part of our trip that was exceptional. The airlines and rental car companies all had significant issues.

Awesome Condo!

This condo was clean, conveniently located, and well-stocked! We had everything that we needed for the beach in the closet on the lanai and we were just a few minutes drive from the Siesta Key Public beach. The owner's were very accomodating and willing to help with anything that was needed. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place! Thanks for a great vacation!

Best vacation ever!

We stayed here on our family vacation and it was wonderful! The owners were great and very helpful. You can pack light because the owners supply all the beach necessities you need for the beach! Free Internet ,and the place was updated and very spacious! Pool was large and clean. Cant say enough about how happy we were with this unit and our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful condo! Perfect choice!

This is an immaculately clean, updated unit, with excellent air conditioning. Just a few minutes drive to Siesta Key Beach or Crescent Beach and to the restaurants in the village. Everything was supplied that we needed: bath towels, beach chairs, paper products, soaps, etc., all of which made things very easy. Check-in and parking were very simple. Condo complex is quiet, with nice pool area. Everything about the unit was great and we would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT PLACE! BEAUTIFUL CONDO AND NICE OWNER

My friend and I stayed in this Bay Oaks Condo in mid June and it exceeded our expectations. The condo was roomy, well appointed and relatively close to all the action that Siesta Key and Sarasota County have to offer. We loved that that the property was quiet and well manicured and had easy access to 41. The pool was a nice 85 degrees and set back in the perfect location. The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed. It was a walk to Crescent Beach, about ten minutes by foot if you cut through and 15 if you don't, but only a five minute car or bike ride. Siesta Key municipal beach was a mere five minutes by car and parking was plentiful. The bay was directly behind the property and included a pier and very pretty views! Overall I rate this rental a Five out of Five and plan on coming here to stay again. Thanks to the owners for providing a place where great memories can be made.

Excellent condo!

My family and I are planning very long to go in Florida. We had so please to take the decision to rent this wonderful condo. This condo is well equipped; bath towel, beach chair, sun umbrella, pans, all kitchen needed ... washer, dryer ... The place is clean, need, quiet. It is closed to everything, grocery, pharmacy, restaurant, beach. We had wonderful time in Siesta Key. The condo is much more beautiful than the pictures.

Fun in the Sun!

My husband and two sons (aged 4 & 5) stayed over spring break 2014. The condo is ideal for a family - very clean, nicely appointed, close to beaches. Kitchen contained everything needed to make meals for a family. Siesta Keys is a great place to vacation. Mike was very hospitable and helped to provide suggestions of things to do. He was prompt to respond and nice to work with. I would definitely recommend this condo. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! While on vacation, we visited turtle beach (great for shelling), nokomis beach (relaxing), crescent beach (pretty and walking distance to condo) and siesta beach (amazing - powder white sand, wide beach). We also took a kayak ride on Lido beach through the mangroves and saw crabs, star fish, birds and other wildlife. Siesta Key Oyster Bar, Big Olaf's and Salty Dog were some of our favorite restaurants

Lovely condo in Siesta Key

This immaculately maintained condo is even prettier than the photos. It is spacious and wonderfully comfortable. The complex is conveniently located just over the bridge on Siesta Key, home to the loveliest beach in the country. The dock and park area on the intracoastal waterway are very pleasant--expect to run into other residents, visitors and shore birds for a sunset drink!

We lived on Siesta Key in the 1990's and just couldn't stay away. We love Bay Oaks. It is beautifully managed, clean and everyone is so friendly. It features every amenity we need to enjoy a relaxing, yet fun-filled stay.

We enjoy being above 'the crowd,' so this 4th floor, corner unit is perfect. When we have coffee and breakfast in the mornings, or enjoy a cocktail during the sunset... we sit on the balcony at the table and chairs and take in the beautiful, huge oak tree that provides our view.
