THE HOME
Boasting wide open fields, walkable trails, and a classic American hometown feel, Firefly Park serves as Independence Stay’s front yard. Let the kids run without worry while you enjoy the serenity of the rocking chairs and cozy cafe lights on the welcoming front porch. Or take a ride around the neighborhood on the two provided cruising bicycles. A close walk to The Meeting House, the lake beach, the community garden, and more, you truly can’t beat the location.
Back at the house, take a step inside and gather the whole family in the spacious and bright, open plan of the home’s first floor. Cuddle up on the luxurious leather couches to catch a game on the 65” 4K smart TV or curl up in the reading chair with a new book.
The kitchen is worthy of a chef's kiss! With luxurious granite countertops, modern appliances, an adorable farmhouse sink, and a myriad of dishes, glasses, serving ware, and cooking ware, you have everything you need to make a great meal! Small appliances include a toaster, crock pot, blender, electric kettle, waffle maker, and hand mixer. Then gather around the dining table or breakfast bar island to chow down.
Do you love coffee as much as we do?? Get your brew on with a Keurig, 12 cup drip pot, espresso machine, and coffee grinder, all for your use!

We know how much stuff you need to lug around when taking young kiddos on vacation. Not fun! So instead, we've provided a high chair/booster seat, pack n play, step stool, bath tub seat, a stair gate, children's dinnerware, bibs, and more for all our littlest guests!
Enjoy the privacy and convenience of the half bath just down the hall from the kitchen.
The first-floor master suite is a bright, dreamy retreat and host to a lush queen size bed and spacious attached master bathroom. Enjoy all your favorite shows from the comfort of bed on the HDTV or fall comfortably asleep to the sounds of the provided sound machine.
As you travel up the grand wrap-around stairs, you’ll find the game loft outfitted with plenty of toys and a smart TV perfect for cheering on your favorite team. Do your best to beat our high score on the arcade game, get comfy on the family-sized sectional, or challenge one another to a game of darts!
Get ready for sleepover giggles and fun in the second-floor bunk room! Featuring two twin over full bunk beds (both with stair access and pull out twin trundles), there’s plenty of room for the whole gang even the littlest of kiddos! This room is great for hanging and sleeping with it’s 50” Roku TV, blackout curtains, and sound machine.
The second upstairs guest room is another resort-style bedroom furnished with a king-sized memory foam bed and 50” Roku TV. This room has a beautiful view of the park or draw the blackout curtains closed, turn on the sound machine, and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
Just off the game loft, and convenient to the whole second floor, you will find another full bathroom with stand-up shower and tub combo, perfect for soaking after a long day on the lake or bathing the little ones. A full-size laundry room with a washer and dryer are also located on the second floor.
Walk out of the French doors onto the screened in porch to find an outdoor sofa and bistro bar set, where you can enjoy breezy calm mornings or lively night caps. Take a few steps down to the beautiful fully fenced yard with its own putting green, a large propane grill, fire pit with lounge seating, and private covered two-car parking area.

FIRST FLOOR:
- Primary Bedroom: Queen Bed, Attached full bathroom
SECOND FLOOR:
- Guest Bedroom: King Bed
- Bunk Room: Two twins over two full-size bunk beds, two twin pullout trundles
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Independence Stay has 2 private covered parking spaces for guest. All additional vehicles can be parked in the public parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard or in the spaces along Park St.
Two bicycles are provided for guest use (please ride at your own risk, helmets are not provided). If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton or through Dr. Doos.
Independence Stay is equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/ dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to all of our community amenities including pools, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayak/paddle board rentals.
