Play foosball, air hockey, cornhole, darts, and board games galore. In the evening enjoy a campfire and watch the moon and stars over the lake. 3BR/ 2BA/ + guest cabin luxury log home. All Bosch kitchen appliances, washer and dryer included. Fireplace indoor and outdoor wood included. Connect to ATV, ORV, & snowmobile trails. Lots of parking available for trailers. Just bring food and your personal needs and everything will be ready for you.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as perfect as we remembered! The peaceful environment makes it the ideal getaway for rest and relaxation. The hosts are incredibly communicative and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained—truly a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to planning our next trip!

This was my fourth year in a row spending a long weekend at Sanctuary Shores. Absolutely love this place! The house is very clean and comfortable— the owners think of everything for their human & canine guests! — and the setting on the water is nothing short of absolute heaven. We love that it’s at the end of the dead-end road, so there’s no traffic. And being able to sit down by the water in solitude is definitely my favorite part! The perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation with no worries.

The house was absolutely wonderful. It is very spacious so no one ever felt crowded with our group of 9. Very clean and anything you could want is there. Tori and Michael answered all my questions promptly! Would highly recommend staying there.

This place was a perfect getaway! So much room for the pups to chase a ball or wade in the water. Gorgeous space to spend time outside and in. Stunning view of the stars and sunrise. Can’t say enough good things about this.

This is a lovely home with beautiful views of Green Bay. There is a great patio to relax on and look at the water. Lots of space to sleep and spread out. That being said, there were a few things that were “off” that kept me from giving it a higher rating. 1) The place was clean and yet there were lots of cobwebs—in corners, in every windowsill, on the taxidermy deer, etc. 2) There is no beach. Yes, there is access to the water but the “beach” is mud you sink into up to your ankles so it wasn’t really an option to sit down by the water or swim. 3) Two bathrooms but only one shower—the downstairs bathroom only has a bathtub. So everyone is showering in one shower. 4) No A/C. Then there were some minor inconveniences that I’m not going to mention because I don’t know that they’ll reoccur but did influence my rating. The property is dog friendly (although you pay an extra fee for that), which is great and one of the main reasons we chose it. If you’re looking for a place to lay low with your family and dogs while enjoying looking at the water, this is a great place!

The perfect getaway

Our group of 10 humans and 2 dogs absolutely loved our time at the cabin! The water made for an incredible view (and the most gorgeous sunrise I've ever seen), and the house was roomy, clean, and so very well stocked. We loved getting to play in the huge yard or in the game room indoors. Tori was so knowledgable about the area and the wildlife and anything we wanted to know. Our trip was beautiful and perfect. Thank you for an amazing week!

Amazing Experience

We just spent 5 days for Thanksgiving and it was the most relaxing and wonderful family bonding time that we couldve asked for. The house was clean, fully stocked, beautiful and exactly what was advertised.

Home away from home

This was our third time visiting and as always, it was wonderful. The cabin comes fully stacked with all necessities, which made our stay very easy and stress free. Beautiful lakeside and remote location make it a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the peace.

Fall Getaway

The cabin and lakefront views are amazing. Our dogs LOVED exploring the backyard. My husband and left our hectic lives behind and only left the Cabin to get supplies It was heaven

Perfectly named - Sanctuary Shores

This was the third year we have stayed at Sanctuary Shores and as always it was wonderful. The weather was perfect and the sunrises and moonrises were beautiful. The sound of the waves has to be the most therapeutic sound on earth and is available 24/7 at Sanctuary Shores. We had a great time and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to sit back and relax. Bill & Marilyn

Perfect

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Sanctuary Cabin. It was the perfect getaway from the Missouri heat and humidity. The location was absolutely perfect. You are steps away from Lake Michigan and they built stairs for easy access. We had our dog with us and he absolutely loved it. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was outstanding and the appliances were new. Plenty of everything you needed. The communication with Michael and Tori Was excellent. We had a couple simple questions and they were able to reply right away. If you were looking for a relaxing spot on Lake Michigan, I cannot recommend this spot enough!

Beauty and Fun right outside your door!

We enjoyed a fun stay with our extended family including kids, teens and adults. The weather for our week was mixed but this home provided fun inside and out. The view from the great room was outstanding. On the cool rainy day we had a fire in the fireplace and played indoor games. When the sun came out, water play and games in the front lawn were a ton of fun! We also spent a day exploring both Escanaba and Menominee and fishing in Cedar River. This home had everything we needed and we loved the location. Thank you!!

Nice Getaway

This stay provided us with a nice break from the real world. Close enough to Escanaba for some interaction with other people, but secluded enough to feel like you’re the only people for miles. We had a lovely time.

We were born and raised on the shores of Lake Michigan. We love the stunning sun rises in the morning and the mirror like calm of early morning and the sometimes gentle lapping of water and other times crashing surf in the afternoons and evenings. The beauty of watching a storm sweep across the incredible blue waters is an amazing sight to behold. The cracking fire on the beach while the sun sets and sharing stories with friends and family bring peace and serenity. Sharing favorite memories while sitting around the stone hearth fireplace in the great room warms the soul and the bones.

It is a short drive to many of Upper Michigan's incredible attractions - Waterfalls, State Parks, Pictured Rocks, Skiing, Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, off road trails for 4x4, ATV, UTV, ORV, and snowmobiling.
