Come enjoy this Boaters’ Paradise! Not for the Sit inside type- get out there and fish, dive and swim! This place is ideal for the outdoorsy type! Way more exciting and unique than the “Hyatt”! The canal and Lagoon are a real life free-range aquarium with a ton of marine life: sergeant majors, Tang, schools of parrot fish, snapper and turtles abound right off the 90-foot dock for fishing, viewing and feeding. Lobster season is rockin’ too, even off the dock! Manatee often come in for protection in the Winter as a bonus.Tropical Oasis was my family’s home, hand built by my father in the early 1980s. He poured himself into it to give three generations of us a place to come together and live simply- basking in the sun and saltwater. Dad knew these were the keys to a happy life, and now we want to share them with you. Explore the healthy and vibrant deepwater canal and lagoon. Host was easy to work with. Great spaces available throughout the property, never felt crowded. Decor was nice. PLENTY of dishes, cookware, etc. Double ice maker in kitchen fridge and extra fridge with ice maker on lower patio level. Pool area was beautiful. Plenty of outdoor seating in every area. Light switches labeled for easy ID of what they went to. Smart TV in every bedroom and common areas so easy to log into your own subscriptions plus Roku available in living room. Entertainment area recliners and big screen tv in downstairs game room. A few things needed a little TLC but the only real negative was needing to go outside to go back and forth between main living area and the downstairs entertainment area.Very close to Marathon airport if you enjoy watching planes take off.

"Fantastic stay! The property was exactly as advertised and met all our needs. It was clean, well-stocked with essentials, and in a perfect location. From the easy check-in to the responsive host, everything was perfect. We enjoyed the encounter with a manatee, right off the dock. Highly recommend!

This property is beautiful. However, 3 of the 4 people staying were over 80 and the stairs proved to be a challenge. Everything was clean and working as expected. The one draw back for us was no bathroom on first floor where pool was. There could have been clearer instructions for wi-fi, garbage and dishwasher, and the commode on the second story was not working properly. The owner acknowledged that she needed to clarify instructions.

Wonderful house. We had a great time. The house is clean and well appointed. Great dock access for the boat we rented. Saw manatees and tarpon swimming in the canal at the dock. Will be back for sure!!

We enjoyed our stay here and really liked the location. It was a quiet neighborhood conveniently close to grocery stores and many fun things to do. It is close enough to go to Key West or Islamorada for the day. Sombrero Beach is close by and was a great spot for sunsets. Make sure to have plenty of bug repellant if you go out and about though. We all got bit over the course of our trip and I usually don’t get bit. The canal was nice for my son to go fishing. We did not see many fish or other wildlife like others have mentioned unfortunately. We really enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table as well as the theater area on the bottom floor. Please note that you have to go outside to get downstairs. We spent a little time in the pool but got bit by noseeeums we think so we didn’t spend a lot of time out by the pool. The screened porch made a nice lunch spot to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The house was mostly very clean with the only knock being that the previous renter must have had a dog that shed quite a bit so there was dog hair we swept up in the floor. The airplanes were not terrible but were a bit louder than we expected. They do however only run mostly during day hours and are not an issue late at night or early morning. The windows in the living room will not shut all the way but the owner did say those will be replaced. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Overall we had a good week.

Had a blast at Keys tropical oasis. Dock had plenty of room for our 26 ft boat and 2 jet skis. Kids fished off the dock and the pool is heated and worked perfect. Downstairs was perfect for the kids. The house has everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone. Bonnie is great to work with and will help you if you need it. Thank you again for the stay.

We loved this place! The kids really enjoyed the pool and game room. Plenty of dock space for our 25' boat rental. The canal had plenty of Snapper we enjoyed watching and feeding, we even saw a Nurse Shark, Green Sea Turtle and a Manatee! Everything we needed was provided and host was very communicative. Side note: bonus points for being pet friendly, our Bulldog enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the canal!

Nice big house & nice pool boat dock area really nice. We were without internet for over 3-4 days, reached to owner & she did give me an 800 # to call on my own.We waited a whole morning of our vacation & cable guy never showed, we reached out to owner who apologized that she was told the appointment was cancelled. In the owners defense she was out of town herself.The bathroom shower & shower could have been cleaner.Sadly there were ants in the kitchen & there were these worm like bugs found crawling in different areas of the house.Other than the ants, the wormlike bugs, internet outage & the shower are needing to be a little cleaner this was a nice house

Great location for the avid fishing crew with plenty of room for your boat. Amenities are great. House was sufficient for our group. Bonnie was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Clean, comfortable and great location.We had a very nice week's stay at Tropical Oasis. The house was clean (refrigerator and stove, spotless too), beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great. We enjoyed the pool, game room and long dock. We saw a lot of wildlife come through the channel – manatees, turtles, huge schools of parrot fish. The location is great, especially if you have a boat. We rented kayaks and enjoyed paddling and fishing in the inlet and around the mangroves. Bonnie was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions we had.

May boat trip

This was our very first time renting a home and we were not sure what to expect.Our host Bonnie exceeded our expectations!House was as described, very clean and well maintained. This place checked all the boxes for us, boat dock big enough for our 41 boat, fenced in yard for our doggies and a beautiful pool.We enjoyed the game room with our friends and had ample space for all.Great house, great location we will be back!Thanks

An excellent property

The kitchen was as well equipped as mine at home and all the rooms were larger and nicer than the pictures suggested. The heated pool was wonderful, we were able to swim every day in mid January! Bonnie was super responsive and easy to work with. No doubt, we’ll be back.

Great house for a tropical getaway

We had a fantastic time! The house has so much to offer. My two teens kept themselves entertained the whole time: swimming in the heated pool, playing ping-pong/pool, fishing from the dock and observing the nature. We saw manatee swim up to the dock every day, sea turtles and a wide variety of fish in the clear watery. I would highly recommend renting a boat for a few days. There is an awesome snorkeling spot by the light house ( Sombrero rif), which is a short boat ride away. We also enjoyed Sombrero beach, located within a 10 minute drive from the house. There was so much to do. You will not be disappointed. Bonnie was a great host. Very informative and responsive.

Great Place

They place was great for our group. We had a boat and the dock and bayside access was simple and easy. The game room and pool were great entertainment for the kids during rain and in the evenings as well. Very convenient property with plenty of room for parking with the boat trailer.

Great Keys home

This was a great house in Marathon! The private pool, boat dock, space and layout were just what we needed. You don't find many houses with all the amenities. We will definitely be back in the future.
