Very comfortable for groups to sit and talk. Having a pool is extremely nice. Great gas stove and barbecue. Ocea n is across the road.

The house was great. The beds were comfortable as were the furniture inside the house and out. The house was very well appointed with all of the things a traveler might need. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans and utensils that you need to cook at home (we did a few times). Appliances were all new and in good shape. We were really impressed with the outdoor sitting spaces. I believe between the front, back and upstairs there was sufficient seating for almost 50 people. Views were fantastic of the sunset and the surf especially while relaxing in the upstairs hammocks. Really enjoyed the salt pool out back as well as all of the beach equipment the (towels, chairs, umbrellas) house had. We would come back!

What a week

The Davidson House was awesome. If you have kids or just enjoy the outdoors, the Yard and Landscaping is spectacular, Perfect even!!! If you are deciding if you should stay here, I hope this helps make your decision to stay!!!

Loved the access to the hikes, beaches and beauty of Kauai! House lived to the pictures with plenty of inside / outside space with an expansive porch that flowed to the pool. Great layout for our family!

This is a beautiful home. We loved everything about it, especially the pool. We even had family pictures taken on the property bc we loved it so much. That's saying something when you're on such a beautiful island. We hope to return!!

A Beautiful Kauaʻi Getaway — Views, History & the Sound of the OceanWe enjoyed learning about the history of this home and reading about the thoughtful design of the house and furniture. Our group consisted of five adults—one couple and three additional adults—and the four bedrooms provided plenty of space and privacy, along with wonderful shared areas where we could spend time together.One of our favorite features was the beautiful upper porch. We spent many hours there relaxing, talking, and listening to the sound of the ocean. The views were incredible, including distant views of Niʻihau and beautiful Kauaʻi sunsets. One evening was especially memorable: we watched the sunset and then saw the full moon rise. It was truly beautiful.We also enjoyed the pool, outdoor shower, and convenient areas for rinsing sand from our feet after visiting the beach. The location made it easy to explore smaller local shops and visit the Waimea Canyon lookout. We also enjoyed eating at L&L, trying JoJo’s Shave Ice, and having a meal at Kauaʻi Menehune Kitchen.What made this property special was how easy it was to slow down and enjoy being in Kauaʻi. The home has a great deal of history and character, and its thoughtful design details give it a unique feel. The beautiful surroundings, spacious layout, amazing views, and convenient location made our stay memorable.One consideration for future guests is the home’s temperature and airflow, wall-mounted AC units are provided.

Great House, Beautiful Design Next to the Ocean

The beach house/old plantation home exceeded our expectations. Lots of room for four couples with multiple, shady lanais. The home has been very nicely renovated, keeping the heritage components intact. We made good use of the saltwater pool and enjoyed the upper lanai for sunsets. Highly recommended and would love to return.

Tropical Paradise Beach House

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! It was the perfect spring break retreat for our family of 6 with plenty of space. Well-equipped, cozy and charming in every way! Seamless check-in and responsive host when needed. Loved reading about the history of the home, which was featured in a book on the coffee table. It was GREAT to have a pool in the back yard while the baby napped. The front yard was like a tropical paradise! I would strongly suggest checking out the Salt Pond Beach close by, great for families with small children. The property provides everything you'd need for a day at the beach! There are PLENTY of towels for beach and pool. Quality towels!! Our granddaughter called this her Hawaii White House! Looking forward to another stay!

My wife, 3 adult daughter their significant others, and I made this our home for 5 days on Kauai. The home was big enough for us to not be in each other's space and cozy enough to have quality time together in the living room playing games, in the dining room eating dinner, or on any of the 3 covered porches. Even the kitchen - although cozy - was plenty big enough for 5 of us to make quick work of meal prep together.The beds were comfy. The air conditioning cooled the bedrooms in minutes before going to bed. The kitchen was well stocked. There were ample towels for the beach and the pool. Speaking of which...I didn't use the pool, but the rest of the family enjoyed it several times. My happy place was enjoying my morning cup of local Hawaiian coffee on the front porch listening to and watching the waves.Jeremy (our host) was both proactive and responsive. He was helpful coordinating with the housekeeper so that we could come 30-60 mins before check-in directly from stocking up at Costco and Target to get the cold items in the fridge. She was delightful (as were her 2 young children) and made sure we felt at home on the porch out of her way while she finished up. It's obvious she takes pride in her work.

Fabulous Family Stay!

We celebrated a family birthday with our whole family in this lovely home. The pool was delightful and location was close to excursions and delicious restaurants as well as a Friday night street art fair. We would stay again with bells on!

Aloha Carol What a great place to spend a birthday! The pool is one of the only ones on the Westside, so this makes this home even more special. I think you must have been to Art Night in Hanapepe town which is a street fair with music, food, and plenty of art on Fridays. It can be a nice way to spend some time and absorb the Aloha spirit. Beautiful House on the Beach

We loved staying in this house. Great location and the house has old wood floors and a great kitchen. We really enjoyed the pool. I would recommend this property to all looking for a beautiful place to stay while on Kauai.

Great house for group on awesome quiet beach area

Beautiful house with lots of room. Location is away from major tourist areas so more quiet with less traffic. Close to a great beach and hiking but not overly crowded. All the amenities you need for a great stay.

Wonderful Kauai home

The property was quiet, well maintained, well stocked and peaceful. Gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. We liked the location for the various activities we enjoyed. It is on the main road but the ocean sound more than compensates. We would definitely stay here again.

Best place to stay!

This was our third trip to this house in the last 8 years and always have a great time! It is so relaxing and plenty of space for everyone! Scott is excellent at providing information for the home and responds very fast with questions. We will be coming back again to enjoy the house!
