The Perfect North Shore Getaway!!

Hale Malina is a luxury custom home is located in a quiet gated community directly beachfront on Sunset Beach, with miles of beautiful sandy beach and world class surf break right outside your door.

The property is 20,000 sq. ft and has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, vaulted ceilings and hardwood flooring throughout. The master bedroom upstairs has a lovely canopied king bed, large lanai (perfect for relaxing or getting a massage), gorgeous ocean view along with a full bath with deep jetted tub, double head shower and a walk in closet. Downstairs is another king bedroom with walk out lanai and ocean view as well as a kids room with 2 twin over full bunks plus trundle. A punee sits outside the master bedroom and can be converted into a bed to sleep one. The bathrooms are all built in unique custom tile and stone design.

Cook meals in a large gourmet kitchen with gas cooktop and oven, granite countertops, prep island with bar sink and breakfast nook. A dining room overlooks the main lanai and seats 6. Outside of the dining area is an outdoor dining area with a bbq and additional dining table that seats 8. An expansive living room has a large sofa and extra seating, a flat screen TV and DVD with a gorgeous capiz shell chandelier that gently lights the room, creating a relaxing cozy ambiance. Outside, the yard facing the ocean is a huge grassy area for kids to run and play along with a fire pit perfect for evening smores while watching the spectacular North Shore sunsets. The lanai wraps the front of the home facing the ocean with plenty of seating to enjoy the view.

Even the entrance to the home is impressive with its lush tropical landscaping and water features. The home is fenced in for privacy and safety of children.

Relax all day or stroll the beaches looking for shells and sea glass. If you are feeling more adventurous, surfing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, swimming and snorkeling are steps away. Haleiwa town offers a wide range of great restaurants, boutique shopping and sightseeing. Turtle Bay resort is just a few minutes away with many amenities including a spa and restaurants.

Outstanding Experience

We had the privilege of staying at Gina's house this past month. In short, it is a wonderful home in a spectacular location. It is private, secure and calm. We stayed as a family with teens, and recommend it highly. The property manager Monta is excellent - very responsive. We will be returning soon! Best, Chris K.

Wow!

The house was amazing! Property was beautiful! Only draw back, the ocean just at the property was a little rocky, BUT you could walk down to either side and there was sand. Would book again and not think twice about it!

Amazing Oahu north shore beach & access

Our family had an outstanding experience at this property. You can’t beat the beach access to Oahu’s north shore, the fire pit, tiki torches, and ample indoor & outdoor living space. It’s a great set up for a family get away. We really appreciated the combination of privacy with ocean frontage.

Time to relax in Hawaii

Gina’s house is wonderful. We are a family of 7 - grandparents, kids and grandkids. The house was perfect for all the different ages and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was clean, better equipped than I anticipated and the location was wonderful. We spent most of our time at the beach - Gina has a shed with boogie boards, beach chairs and more. The kitchen was well organized making it easy to find things, Plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware and all the things necessary to make our meals. The house is located on the quiet side of Oahu and there are not large hotels. When we return to Oahu we would certain plan on staying here again. Cheers Pat

Unbelievable !!!

There are no words or pictures that can adequately describe this home, the property, the view and the peace of this amazing home. The pictures online look amazing, but still don't do it justice. Our family of 11 stayed a week and we had the greatest time of our lives. The house comes with EVERYTHING you need to make yourself at home .... just add food! We had the spectacular beach all to ourselves. We purchased a LOT of stuff from Costco on the way to the house, but the local Foodland Market was great for shopping too. We had the beach all to ourselves. The yard is gorgeous and perfect for the kids and family games. We felt safe and secure in the gorgeous neighborhood. The rental process and communication between Gina, the owner and Monta, the property manager was great. They thought of everything. We are already planning our next Hawaiian vaca, and we unanimously voted that we will be staying in this home again.

Wonderful house right on semi-private beach

This is a wonderful house; right on the beach, yet private and safe, with a large yard. Beautiful views. The house is really nice with an excellent kitchen. We especially like that it was very clean. We are kind of pedantic and don't leave any dirt or even grains of sand on the floor. It is this clean. Heated outdoor shower was super nice. We did surfing right off the beach at the house. The bedrooms have AC but we found it's not needed; nicer to simply have the breeze. No bugs biting you. Only cute lizards and geckos. All in all we loved it and hope to come back!

Paradise on the North Shore

What a place, what a location. With a great spacious house at your disposal, including outdoor living space, enough lawn for the kids to play on and exhaust themselves, and the beautiful sandy beach just thru the residence back gate, what more can anyone ask for, apart from perhaps an even longer vacation . . .

Outstanding!!!!

Absolutely fabulous! Our family had the most wonderful vacation at Hale Malina on the North Shore. The house was even more beautiful than in the pictures. We enjoyed the comfortable space for our group of five adults and four grandkids. Quality family time was spent on the well-appointed and large porch across the back of the house. There was lots of room for patio meals around a large table while we watched the sunsets. The two smaller porches off of the bedrooms provided quiet spots to relax. The beach was pristine and fairly quiet Monta made sure that we had everything necessary to make our stay comfortable and was available by text at all times. She even bought some new boogie boards for the kids to use as she noticed that the ones at the house were fairly old Ted’s bakery was a highlight for the kids – sometimes for donuts and cinnamon buns and other times for breakfast. It is just a ten-minute walk down the road. The food trucks and a Foodland are a short drive from the house. This was a very special vacation for our family. The house and location exceeded our expectations. It was a truly memorable vacation in paradise. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect House

We had a wonderful experience at the house. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies, beds are comfortable & the overall location was excellent. Just note that most bathrooms did not have soap, shampoo & conditioner. I will definitely be staying at the property on my next trip to the North Shore.

Epic Hawaiian getaway

Beyond epic! This home and property was simply Perfection. Right out of a magazine, this home is well appointed, stocked, spacious & built with attention to every detail- true craftsmanship. The Bedrooms were beautiful, beds were amazingly comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with plush towels, shampoo, soap etc. Directly on a secluded, breathtaking beach, as much as we love the area the home was hard to leave. Less than 2 minute drive away you’ll find sunshine coffee/açaí bowl shack or even closer, Teds bakery is within walking. Take a slightly longer drive, 10-20minutes, depending on traffic and you’ll pass stunning beaches, Waimea and ultimately end up in Haliewa, a quintessential Hawaiian downtown area with shopping & restaurants galore. I had a 5 year old and teens as well as my brother and his family and we were all blown away. Honestly, look no further, this home is better than the pictures and truly a vacationers dream. Last but not least, Gina and Marta are amazing ladies that truly go out of their way to make sure your every need is tended to. After a week on Lanakai, this last portion of our vacation in Haleiwa was the highlight, it’s truly a magical Hawaiian experience! If given the opportunity, this will be our forever vacation home! The perfect vacation home.

This vacation home is a dream come true. Fully stocked and in pristine condition. From the moment you drive up you will be impressed. We were greated by monta who made sure we had everything we needed, showed us where everything was located and how to to work everything, and assured us she was just a call away. The location is probably the best on the island for those looking to get away from it all but still have many options within a few miles. The back porch was our favorite and we ate most of our meals there while watching the picturesque sunsets over the beautiful private sandy beach and sparkling ocean. Less than a 20 min. drive to great food, a grocery store, fantastic snorkeling, turtle bay resort and climb works ziplining. This was the best vacation any of us have ever had and this rental was the best part of it. I would choose this vacation home again and again and we have even shared this rentals info. with friends and family. Thank you Gina for opening your home to us, it was truly a fairytale vacation. Exceeded Expectations!

This property was the perfect choice for our family. Gina and Monta were spectacular communicators and Monta was accommodating and a pleasure to meet. The house exceeded our expectations and, while beautifully decorated and spacious, truly felt "homey" and comfortable. The beach felt private which we loved. The accommodations as far as just having all the necessities and general basics from towels to soaps to detergents to paper towels to aluminum foil to cling wrap ready and covered for the entire stay were the best we have ever experienced. We thank you for sharing your home with us and for the memories made!

Wonderful stay and best location on the northShore

We had a great stay! We were two families of 4 and the house accomodated us perfectly! The view and location are incredible! Really good surf out front (Velzy Land) and several beaches at walking distance! We loved having breakfast in the deck watching the kids surf! The rooms and living area were extremelly inviting. There is a wonderful breeze at night, so no one missed the ac, although we are all used to it. The house has all of the desired beach accessories (towels, umbrellas, chairs etc..) and home appliances. Monta and Gina were wonderful and very accesible when we needed. I highly recommend it! We will be back for sure!

Fabulous place for family to gather!

This house was fabulous in every way! Location was excellent with a small yard between the house and the beach that was a good place for young children,. it was clean and very comfortable with well equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, covered outdoor space, good quality linens and towels.

Wonderful End of Summer in North Shore

This was definitely the most perfect North Shore house. We had the most wonderful time in North Shore end of August. There was still a lot of people vacationing and plenty of tourist in North Shore, the other beaches were still pretty packed. But the beach behind the house was pretty empty and really nice. We had a lot of privacy away from all the crowd. We didn't get to meet Monta bc we arrived a little later than anticipated but she texted and checked up via text to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was lit and all windows open when we arrived so it was a very welcoming arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Family Retreat

This is our fifth time back to this same vacation rental and our family always looks forward to it. We live on the island and have stayed in many beautiful places but this North Shore getaway has been our favorite and one we continue to return to. The beach house is located in a safe kid friendly gated community yet the house and property is so spacious you feel very private and secluded. The house itself is completely gated with a large gate to enter the driveway and one to access the beach. When you first enter the front door to the open floor plan you are captivated by the aqua blue ocean views along the entire living area. You can cook in the spacious kitchen, grill outside, sit in the living room, dine on the patio or dining table all together while admiring the beach, enjoying sunsets and watching the surfers in the distance. The open floor plan also allows for the kids to play safely on the huge lawn or patio outside while you are in the house prepping meals or having a glass of wine on the large covered deck. The master bedroom downstairs near the kids bunk bed rooms allow for parents to be near young children or the master suite upstairs gives you the honeymoon retreat with a private balcony, large soaking tub and huge bathroom. Our kids love the room with all the bunk beds and trundle beds. This is one of the hottest times of the year in Hawaii but the house stays cool with ceiling fans and the natural cross breezes that flow from the well ventilated house. Because of the safe neighborhood, we felt comfortable leaving the windows open at all times. Gina keeps the house extremely clean and well equipped for any vacationers needs. You can even find all the practical supplies like flashlights for crab hunting at night, extra fans, and beach umbrellas. Our family enjoyed watching the perfect sunsets, looking for beach glass and shells, swimming and diving in the ocean right in front of property, and playing soccer on the huge lawn. At night we took the kids on sand crab hunts then lit the gas tiki torches and fire pit to make smores, enjoy stories and gaze at the stars. Foodland (a grocery store) is just minutes away along with several other must see spots on the North Shore. However, we enjoy the house so much we choose to just remain at the property, kick back and relax. I usually do not write reviews but this vacation rental was worthy of one!

Fabulous! Would go back again and again!

Such a treat to vacation at this FABULOUS home in a gated community. We are Hawaii residents who live an hour away and it was a short drive to paradise. Oceanfront location was so convenient for our families with kids. We fished, dove, swam and built sand castles all day! In the evening we retired to the balcony where we sipped cocktails and watched the sunset. The kids enjoyed playing sports on the spacious and lush lawn and enjoyed smores from the gas fire pit on property. The home was super clean-perfect decor really contributed to the ambiance. The kids had slumber parties in the spacious living room and enjoyed the bunk beds in the bedrooms too. The house felt so safe so we kept the windows open and slept with the warm breeze all night long. Can't wait to go back. Would recommend to everyone!

Great summer spot

We had a fabulous time. The house was beautiful and clean. No Bugs!!! the beach was amazing with no real waves during the summer. Great snorkeling. The owner and manager were wonderful and very helpful. They answered all our questions. Our stay was incredible and we would definitely go back!

Great location, very clean. House is very nice

It doesn't get any better!!!

Or family had such an awesome time. North Shore is the place to stay without question. And your home put our stay over the top. It was private and so comfortable. We felt like we were home, our new home. Monta met us on arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a pretty good storm roll through one night and Monta called to ensure we we're all doing well. The kitchen was well stocked, the deck and back yard awesome, the beds comfortable, and yes, laundry machines in the house. Super fast internet for the person who never escapes the office. Or for streaming a movie in the evening. I really can't say enough good things. We are planning our next visit and this would be our first choice. Mahalo and Aloha!!
