Hawaiian Casual Beachfront estate property with rustic touches AND Hot Tub! White Sand Beach with Sandy Bottom Bay 5 Bedroom / 5.5 Baths Sleeps 8-18 Rated #1 Beach in all US in 2015 by Dr. Beach. Incredible Location & Views. The sandy bottom bay and beach stretches for miles. Security gated with easy beach access. Great swimming right out front. One of the best beaches in Hawaii that will leave you in awe of the fact that you had no idea it existed in Oahu. Waimanalo beach on a sunny day is gorgeous – turquoise blue waters and miles of some of the softest white sand your will toes will ever touch. Old style Oahu is what comes to mind when entering the Waimanalo Bay Recreation Area. Not to be confused with the nearby Waimanalo Beach Park (which is also very beautiful), this countryside Oahu beach along with its northern neighbor, Bellows Beach Park, are some of Hawaii’s undiscovered gems. Together they make up over a 3 mile stretch of pristine beach front. The value of this location is the beach.
Lani Kai Beach and Kailua Beach tend to get all the prestige, but quiet Waimanalo Bay shares the same magical windward (eastern) coast. It’s not usually crowded and remains one of Oahu ’s unspoiled beauties rarely discovered by tourists. Located on a glorious white sand beach, enjoy the rainbow colored sky morning sunrises and the sound of the surf. Location is Fabulous! Nearby is Sea Life Park. You can swim with the dolphins. Hiking to Makapu’u Lighthouse. About 20 minutes away from Pearl Harbor, Downtown, Waikiki and Ala Moana Shopping Center. About 45 minutes to North Shore & Haleiwa for the big waves. Beauty, Convenience and Fun all in one

We had 4 adult families plus children here and the accommodations were perfect. Everyone had privacy and space. The outdoor living area was used the most and was perfect for nighttime gatherings. The beach was pristine, beautiful and fun and we had it to ourselves everyday. Boogie boarding and beginner surfing were perfect for all ages. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating (best we've encountered) and met our every need. We really enjoyed the location, as we were outside Honolulu, but not too far and 20-30 minutes from most everything. Highly recommend Boots 'n' Kimo's for breakfast (but get there early!!). In 7 days we explored all sides of the island and were back in time for dinner and fun at night. The neighborhood was friendly and safe and everybody we met had a smile on their face. We did sunrise pictures right at the property and they were stunning. We highly recommend this property to all and would call our stay as close to perfection as any of the 20 or so family vacations we have taken.

The property was amazing. Very clean and on the ocean. The team was very responsive to issues that arose (Hot tub wasn’t working in check-in) and based on our experience the management team and the handyman all had well-above expected response time and knowledge about how to fix the situation. I’d highly recommend if you have a large family get-together (grandparents, children and grandchildren in our group)

Wonderful Family Vacation

This was the ideal place for our 17 member family to enjoy some of the best Oahu has to offer. The location is so convenient & yet so secluded. The home or compound as we like to think of it was perfect for us. The house is spacious, private, well suited for a large group. We enjoyed being right on the beach with a outside shower convenient hot tub. The entire compound is gated so the little ones could roam around freely. I would only open the gate to the beach when there was supervision. We parked four cars on the grounds without even using the two car garage. We were walking distance to a great shave ice experience & some really good local cuisine. The neighborhood is peaceful & tropical. The beach is truly one of the best beaches in the entire USA. We had a professional photographer take family photos just up the beach from the "compound". One of grand kids favorite rooms was the "rumpus room" which slept 9 & had a great entertainment area too. We were only a short distance from Chief's Luau, Sea Life Park, Huanama Bay, & some great hiking destinations. This was a winner for us.

Great place for your vacation!

Spending time at this beach house was the best way to have our vacation. We stayed at a few different hotels during our stay in Hawaii, but our time spent at this house was our favorite. Every expectation was far exceeded. We felt like VIPs in this gorgeous house. The location by the beach was amazing, and working with the property managers and agents was easy. They accommodated all of our requests. Without this house, we would not have the incredible vacation we did have. This house not only let us have the opportunity to have all our friends and family together but also gave us a chance to have a real home in Hawaii.

This property is an absolute gem. Easy location to get to and to embark on adventures from. House was perfect for large family reunion with many kids of all ages. Open layout great for keeping an eye on little kids but also spaces for people to get privacy. Very well maintained. Beach was gorgeous. No crowds. Very private. Just a few neighbors on the beach who were all very friendly. Not for board surfing but well-suited body surfing and for little kids. Outdoor hot shower and hot tub nice touches after hours at the beach and in the evenings. Needed to call for one or two minor things that were handled quickly and efficiently by management. Service (organization, helpful info, callbacks, etc.) before trip was also really first class. We looked at a lot of properties before picking this one and have to say it exceeded our expectations.

Unbelievable!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this property is!! Perfect setup. Perfect location. Just perfect. Was my first time to hawaii and it was absolutely wonderful. We were up every morning to watch the sunrise from the amazing beach. Great place for a big group to get together. House is set up perfect so couples can get away and have their own space if needed. The covered patio was next to none. We spent most of our time there after dark bonding as a family. Outdoor shower was so cool. We had 4 little ones and they had an amazing time. Kids room upstairs was great for them. No shirt, no shoes, FANTASTIC service. Brian was awesome getting us all set up and was always available to answer questions and explained everything with ease. We got to meet the owners of the property upon our arrival. They were so sweet and welcoming. Can't wait to stay here again!!!

The Boy, The Mansion, and The Beach

My family first arrived after a scenic drive from the airport. The ride was long enough to get a sense and appreciation of the size of the island, yet short enough where I didn't feel like we were taking a road trip. When we first got to the neighborhood, we were quite surprised at how luxurious the the neighbor's houses were. This really set the anticipation high. We pulled up to the blue dolphin gates that sat at the front of the house and marvelled at the behemoth structure in front of us. We could immediately feel the luxury from the spaciousness and greenness of the yard. From the front, you could reach the garage and the front deck. From there on, you really just have to experience it for yourself, because there are far too many rooms that lead into other rooms for me to describe to you. We first set out to find the master bedroom, so we could put our parent's luggage away and have them relax, but the more we explored the house, the more confused we became. There were at least 3 rooms that would be considered the master in any other property. We eventually all found our places. I ended up in the large room with several beds, including one bunk. There's also a wall mounted Tv with a Nintendo Wii, which makes this room the perfect place to park the kids. A short walk from the house is a beautiful white-sandy beach. Although the beach is public, it really feels like a private one due to the low amount of people, the clarity of the water, and the cleaniness of the entire place. In the back of the house, there is a jacuzzi that comfortably seats 4. In order to get to the other parts of the island, you can take the southern scenic route, or go North and take the highway that cuts across the island, but either way you're it's at least 30m drive to get to Honolulu or Waikiki. Let me leave you all with the short version: this property is perfect for any group or family that is looking for the beachfront Hawaii experience!

Perfect Family Vacation

We couldn't have been happier with our experience in our Waimanalo vacation home. The house was extremely spacious and comfortable. However, the highlight of the home is the "backyard". The beach and views that are steps behind the home are beyond gorgeous! One downside to the home is that we failed to visit any of the other beaches we had planned on seeing on the island because we were so content with our own beach.

Awesome House and Beach!

Our family of 12 stayed in the incredible house on July 13th-26th. It was perfect and the beach is fantastic. The house is so spacious and had everything we needed from beach towels to 2 kitchens, 2 washers and 2 dryers for laundry. We loved how the property is gated and very private. The beach is gorgeous and gives you the feeling that you have the entire beach to yourself. We loved the proximity to all the attractions, Waikiki, Kailua, Pearl Harbor, Kualoa Ranch and could get just about anywhere in 20-30 minutes. The owner Gary and his wife are terrific and even went out of there way to return a wallet that we left behind. Thank you to Brain at Aloha Beach Rentals for making the entire rental process quick and easy. We would love to rent this house again.

AMAZING!!

A group of 14 people stayed here for 8 nights and we couldn't have dreamed of a better place to stay. The House was amazing and had everything that we needed. The more we looked around the more we found that was there for us to use. From beach toys, to kitchen items EVERYTHING you ever would need is there. The beach is so gorgeous and blue that we didn't want to swim anywhere else. The beach and waves were very calm the majority of the time, but a few mornings we were able to catch some waves on the boogie boards (which the house was stocked with). This home has spectacular views and is in a great location. Close enough to Honolulu but off the beaten track enough that we never felt any hustle and bustle. We fell in love with Ono's Steak and Shrimp right around the corner. They have a great plate lunch that will make your mouth water. The pictures shown here are very accurate in showing the property. It was very clean and I would definitely recommend the house to people. I look forward to staying in this home again as I will NEVER stay in Honolulu/Waikiki again after this experience. Thank you soooo much for the Aloha Spirit from VRBO, Gary and his wife!

Perfection

We had a group of 10 adults stay for 4 nights at this fantastic house and had such a memorable trip. The property was spacious, secure, and so comfortable that none of us wanted to leave. The highlight of our stay was the beach behind the house. Calm blue water, white sand, and best of all no one else around for miles. Perfection.

beautiful views

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the property. The views were amazing, especially from the master bedroom. The home was very well-kept and well-cared for. We particularly enjoyed the very well-stocked kitchen and adjacent porch for outdoor dining. A postcard worthy beach was just out the back door! We would definitely return for another stay. Thanks to the owners for their hospitality.
