Our Townhome is located on the desired island side of the community with beautiful views of the boat basin. This ideal location is so close to the pools, sunset decks and wading into the bay. The townhome has 2 bedrooms upstairs, each having its own full private bathroom. The master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the boat basin where u can sit, relax and unwind. The Guest Bedroom has one twin bed and one bunk bed to sleep up to 3. This is the desired layout, including the half bathroom downstairs along with the screened in balcony and patio. Along with all marble and granite bathrooms, updated kitchen, beautiful furnishings, high speed Wi-FI and so much more. The entire unit has been decorated to have a Key-Z feel and is a must see...

Right outside ur doorstep is the included Boat Slip berthing a boat up to 33ft.

Buttonwood Bay is a 280 unit gated community with 24 hour security. We are located on the bay in beautiful Key Largo Florida. The property boasts a marina, 5 tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, 3 pools, a marine store and fuel dock, bay side docks for viewing the spectacular sunsets, a sandy beach with swimming platforms, a fitness center and saunas.

Key Largo is located just 45 minutes south of Miami and is a great place for fishing, diving, snorkeling, cycling, kayaking, bird watching and of course eating delicious local seafood to name a few…..Others come to enjoy a relaxing time on the beach or by the pool, for the spectacular sunsets, and for making new friendships.

Great time in Key Largo and the perfect place to stay!

My husband and I just finished our 3 month stay and it was wonderful. The property was perfect and Carlo was a great host. The location was great and Buttonwood Bay was the perfect place to stay. The beach, pools, sunset decks and the views of the bay were very relaxing. The home was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Christmas in the Keys

Condo P8 at Buttonwood Bay is a very nicely furnished and comfortable unit. The wall and shelf decorations are very tasteful and complement the decor. Even the stained faux louvered doors and matching stained moldings are closely coordinated with the entertainment center which features retractable doors which cover the 42” TV. The bathrooms and powder room have been renovated and are among the best we have seen in the Buttonwood Bay community since our first stay here in 2015. The king size bed is comfortable and both bedrooms have wall mounted TV’s. The guest bedroom has a single bed and bunk beds. The modern renovated kitchen has a tray ceiling with indirect fluorescent lighting and is completely equipped. The first floor lanai has two comfortable arm chairs (one with a hassic) overlooking the harbor. Overall, spending a month or more at Buttonwood Bay is an unforgettable experience.

Elegant keys vacation home

Beautiful townhouse tastefully decorated, centrally located on the property with everything you need in the unit. Great getaway. Owner was very nice and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great stay at Buttonwood Bay

I can’t say enough great things about our stay in this unit. The unit was toothbrush ready- It had everything we needed to feel at home. Once again we were sad to leave. We hope to be back next summer. Let the countdown begin!! 😊

Enjoying Buttonwood Bay

My husband and I and our small dog enjoyed living in this nicely-renovated condominium in the Buttonwood Bay complex for almost 6 weeks this winter. The location was excellent, right in between Key Largo and Tavernier, so shopping and restaurants were in close proximity. We were delighted, too, with the cleanliness of the unit. We did not feel it necessary to clean when we checked in, as is our usual practice. The neighbors, both owners and renters, were friendly, and we spent many evenings watching the sunsets and enjoying a glass of wine with them on the “martini decks” scattered at Bayside around the complex. We found the grounds, the pool areas (three of them!), and the docks to be very well-maintained. It was so much fun to sit on the canalside patio and enjoy the arrival of pelicans, tarpon, and even manatees! The two screened lanais got lots of use, too! Having an on-site property manager to handle any questions or issues was an added bonus. If this unit were not already rented for 2019, we would definitely go back! A tip: Enable “Wi-Fi Calling” in “Settings “ on your cell phone for better reception. April 2018

Great place!

This was our third year staying at Carlo's place. The 2-bed/2.5 bath unit has all you need for an extended stay. Excellent wi-fi and large screen TV. The Patio has a table and lots of extra chairs and is located right above the canal. Buttonwood Bay has many amenities all within walking distance. Carlo is a very responsive owner. I highly recommend this rental.

The condo has everything you need. Well-equipped kitchen, gas grill on the back patio, beach chairs, high speed wi-fi, and large screen TV with lots of channels. Cell phone reception in the unit is spotty, but there is a landline phone and no charge for calls. The community is full of friendly neighbors. It's a short walk across the street to fabulous sunsets. You can also walk to one of five well-maintained tennis courts, three pools, or the small, private beach. The community center has a good gym with barbells, multi-station weight machine and two each of treadmills, ellipticals, and recumbent bikes. There's also a small, but well-stocked library and a marina. Each unit fronts a canal or the ocean. You will see lots of manatees, huge tarpon, and occasionally dolphins. Carlo, the owner, is easy to work with and very responsive to questions/concerns.

Key Largo

We had such a great time. The place was just like home. Just a short walk to the pool which had showers and rest rooms right there. The entire complex was clean and quiet. The condo itself was clean and very well thought out. There was a full kitchen that was handy although we only had breakfast there. It had that "cozy feeling. There was cable TV, internet, big screen TV, DVD player, and even a Bluetooth WIFI speaker which I used quite a bit. There was a modern washer and dryer provided. The master bedroom and living room areas had screened on sitting areas that I would have coffee and read in the mornings. We found all types of restaurants just minutes away. There was a supermarket, drug stores, and activities within a short distance. We even went to a movie theater just 5 miles away that had current movies for $8.00. It was a wonderful relaxing stay and I miss it already.

Slice of Paradise

I have only one complaint... Our month at Buttonwood Ended too soon :( This home had everything we needed and more by the end of the Month we were sad to leave "Our Keys Home". The kitchen was well stocked. The furnishings were comfortable and the beds were excellent. My kids loved their room with the extra beds for friends. My husband loved that the boat was just steps from the condo and I loved Island Life. The sunsets were amazing and a perfect end to the day's activities. Overall, this unit and Buttonwood Bay far exceeded our expectations. The owner, property manager and on site staff were very welcoming and easy to work with. We hope to be back next year.

Exceeded our expectations!

We had an amazing vacation we had at this lovely unit in Buttonwood. The owner thought of every detail and we felt at home right away. The master bedroom was fantastic (I am a mattress snob and was worried it would be sub-par) with relaxing views and a great closed in patio. My kids loved the back yard area that looks over the marina and my husband and I loved being able to jump on the boat at a moments notice. On the front side of the unit we could walk across the street to a little beach to watch the sunset! Our month stay flew by but are looking forward to our visit next year. Thank you!

Wonderful winter getaway

This townhouse and property were great! The owners are attentive and accommodating. Buttonwood Bay Club has something for everyone. We made some very nice friends both residents and Snowbirds. Lots of fun things to do in the area and some great establishments for dining and Happy Hour. Our two months went by very quickly and we look forward to going back. Best vacation so far!

Perfect spot in Key Largo

What a wonderful vacation my family and I had. The townhouse is in great condition and Buttonwood has everything you need to enjoy Key Largo. We felt secure on the property and docking the boat right behind the room was very convenient. Great restaurants nearby.

Great Extended Stay in a great community

Our family was relocating to Key Largo and needed a place to stay prior to the close of our new home! We found this great townhouse on VRBO and the owners were extremely helpful and welcoming with such short noticed. They welcomed our extremely well behaved dogs as well, which was so amazing since it is very hard to find a place to stay with pets. We really enjoyed the community, everyone was so friendly. Multiple pools to enjoy and beautiful canal & water views throughout the community. Owners were great to work with and responded promptly to questions. A great location for an extended stay!

Condo was everything as promised

Had a wonderful stay at this Buttonwood Bay condo in Key Largo. Condo was very roomy and a great location on the water, and within the community. The fitness room in the clubhouse was well furnished and a requirement in selecting this rental. Enjoyed the screened lanai off the living room with great breezes, and the ceiling fan made it even more comfortable. Master bedroom was very spacious, with plenty of closet space. The master bath was nicely remodeled (as was the guest bath) with a great shower, with great water pressure and temps. Plenty of storage in the vanity as well. Very nice high efficiency washer and dryer enclosed in a closet on the lanai off the master suite - made laundry upkeep very convenient. The owners went the extra mile in having bath sheets available for tenants rather than the typical too small bath towels - a big thank you for that! Owner was very cordial and easy to work with. Recommend this condo for an enjoyable stay in Key Largo.

Comfortable, Cozy and Convenient

My family of three (plus an occasional sleep-over guest or two) were very happy with this rental unit. It had all the comforts of home with our boat just steps from the back veranda. We LOVED it!! The unit was very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The bathrooms looked recently renovated - very nice! The beds were very comfortable (that's a big win in my book!). Although the front bedroom was a little warm to sleep in, a tower fan kept my son cool enough, so really, nothing to complain about. We especially liked the gated community of Buttonwood Bay. Everyone was pleasant and friendly, lots to do (pools, beach, tennis, fishing pier, etc.). It was our home away from home for a month and a half and we enjoyed every moment of tranquility. The owners and property manager were extremely helpful and easy to work with. We will definitely consider renting this unit again next year if it is still available.

Home away from home

I had a wonderful month long stay and didn't want to leave! First my interaction with the owners, Mike and Lesley was great. This was pretty much a last minute decision so I met Mike personally and we did the contract and exchanged the funds about an hour before I drove down to Key Largo. The property manager, Jennifer was out of the town for the weekend, so there were a few things that I didn't quite understand about the property, but we eventually worked them out via text. Beware, there is NO cell phone service inside the townhouse. Even outside can be very spotty....it's not just my service it's the lack of towers I suppose. There were a few things that keep me for giving it 5 starts though. The property just wasn't very well cleaned and in need of a carpet cleaning as the master bedroom carpets were quite stained. However, I reported this to Jennifer and Lesley and I'm sure that will be corrected with their cleaning service. A curtain rod in the master fell and needed a repair and they promptly sent someone to fix it. The furnishings are very comfortable and I loved the bed so comfy! The kitchen is pretty well equipped, if you want to bake though you will need to bring your own pans (or buy foil pans), but there was a good assortment of pots and pans for cooking. Most importantly wine glasses and a martini shaker! :) All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this for your vacation, close to everything and a short ride to Key West making it an easy day trip. So many activities and places to see the sunset I became a regular at Bayside Grill to see the sunset from that location. You can walk across the way towards the bay side and see some of the most beautiful sunsets ever!

Key Largo Get-A-Way

Lesley & Michael have thought of everything you need to make your stay relaxing & comfortable. Including, but not limited to - out door grill, fully equipped kitchen, 3 T.V.s to watch, books to read, games to play on rainy days & full-size washer & dryer (we stayed a month so the washer & dryer were important to us). For you convenience, they have a concierge/property manager - we found her to be helpful in getting us settled & answering questions we had about the unit, complex & area. The unit is just as the pictures show & as the listing describes. View from the unit is of the canal lined with boats. We found it to be a pleasant relaxing view. Celll phone service inside the unit is very limited (you need to step outside) but, there is a phone in the unit for local calls. The complex offers a lot of amenties: boat ramp, fish cleaning stations, marine store, heated pools with showers/restrooms & covered pavilions, small library, exercise room, tennis courts, basketball courts, plus you have 24 hr. security. While we were there, at the Island pool, in the morning, they offered free water exercise classes followed by, free line dancing classes. The area, for us, offered a little bit of everything: boating, snorkeling, bird watching, some lovely state parks, grocery stores near by, lots of fun restaurants (we like to go out for breakfast) and lots & lots of relaxing. We would recommend this unit, complex & area to our friends, family & relatives. Young & Old can find plenty to keep them busy - or not.

Buttonwood Bay Rental

One of our most relaxing vacations ever. The property was in near perfect condition, located directly on the canal where we could view the local manatee on a daily basis. Really enjoyed the convenience of the three swimming pools and the close proximity to shopping and dining. The owners were close by and attended to any problems that occured. They replaced a large screen TV within a day when we told them about a problem with it. The unit was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to others as we will probably return to Buttonwood Bay.

We fell in love with Buttonwood Bay the first time we vacationed here. Buttonwood is now our second home as we have always loved the Florida Keys and all that it has to offer. Boating, fishing, scuba, kayaking, sunsets, and meeting lots of great people. Buttonwood has it all, and this unit is pristine and updated. Resident Manatees visit the backyard regularly :)
