3 Bedroom Beach house, in the heart of downtown Capitola. Beach, shops, wine bars, and restaurants just steps away. Rent a surf board a few doors down, and walk 2 very short blocks to the beach! House is hip, comfy, and a great layout for families. Private, outdoor patio is perfect for entertaining, with comfortable lounge seating, a succulent garden, grill and dining table.

Newly remodeled kitchen is open to dining area and sunroom, creating a comfortable living space. Dining room table expands to seat 6-10. Sunroom has cozy, gas burning fireplace, and lounge seating facing the backyard. A perfect spot for morning coffee. Living room is at the opposite end of the house, with flat, screen TV and BluRay/DVD.
Two lovely bedrooms downstairs, charmingly furnished. Newly remodeled downstairs bathroom with full bath and shower.

The 3rd bedroom is upstairs, very large-- and, perfect for kids. It includes a 1/2 bath. Bunkbeds sleep 6. Twin mattresses on top, and Full mattresses on the bottom. There is also an additional 'play area' upstairs with a new full size futon. A flat screen TV and BluRay/DVD player are also located in the upstairs bedroom for in-bed movies!

Downstairs, beside the bathroom, you'll find a washer and dryer for your sandy clothes. And, our outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) is great for rinsing off, with plenty of room to hang wet suits and sandy towels.

This house is perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway or girlfriends weekend. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable vacation. House can accommodate 10, however it is more comfortable for 8 people (especially adults!). For that reason, there is an additional $50 charge per person, per night, over 8 people. Out of propane. Called property manager Shannon. She stated “you can just use the oven” I explain Ed we had been marinating meat all day and we are looking forward to bbq. We got a full tank within the hour. Also the shower drain was clogged. We ran hot water down and it helped. The floors are filthy. On the bright side the location is great. The back yard are is very nice. The cushions on the furniture are sooty and dirty. The layout of the house is good. The kitchen is not fancy but we had everything we needed. The house should or could have been better maintained. We overlooked this and had a wonderful time in Capitola.

Another great time in Capitola. Our 4th year staying at this awesome beach cottage and it did not disappoint. Our group made lasting memories in this comfortable space. They kids enjoyed the "kid zone" loft and the adults sipped coffee or wine by the cozy fire. Love the relaxing pace of beach life

A perfect place for a family gathering

Such a great location - within walking distance of the whole village, you don't need a car after arrival until you leave. The house is roomy enough for multiple sets of adults and kids and the washer/dryer make packing a breeze. The patio gives you so much extra room to hang out, it is absolutely the best.

Awesome Getaway!

Parking in this area is tough BUT we had amazing parking luck even on a holiday weekend (the furthest we had to park was 1 block away). Since there is only one parking permit, it's ideal for a group with just one car. You absolutely can't beat the location! Just a block a way from the beach, we walked there every day to watch the surfers while the kids played on the beach! The listing says 4 bedrooms but the loft is separated into two areas (no doors in between the bunkbeds and the other bed). Again we didn't mind this at all because we stayed with our entire family. The loft can get really hot, but there are a ton of fans which keep it cool and our kids (ages 4-8) did not complain one bit! The patio area is also lovely we ate outside every day and the outside shower is wonderful for the after beach sand clean up! Just keep in mind there's 1 indoor shower/bath and the other bathroom is just a toilet, but again, we totally made this work for our group (some people showered in the morning, others at night and a few brave souls enjoyed the outside shower!) I highly recommend for family reunions and get togethers and will absolutely stay again if we're in the area! Thanks for an unforgettable holiday weekend!

Good Space, Great Location, Nice Time

Back yard was cool for the gathering, kitchen/dining/family rooms allowed for 7 old guys to hang and reminisce.Parking was a bit of a pain, but we knew that going in, so the only parking issue was getting a car unloaded and getting folks into the place.Walking distance to Mr. Toots coffee, and a quiet neighborhood made for a great stay!

Cute, cozy, convenient

It is so hard to find a place to stay for a family of 9. This was an ideal set up for us with one adult child, one teen and 5 kiddos under age 10. The interior of the home is beautiful and everything was well stocked. Lots of restaurants in walking distance, including Margaritaville and Pizza My Heart! The beach is also an easy walk and includes a perfect view of the lovely Venitian Hotel. Biggest downside: parking during the weekends (and probably all summer) is a drag, but it was fine on the weekdays. The hosts are VERY responsive and more flexible than other places we have stayed. The listing truly reflects the property and gives all the necessary information. Plus, no noise or light restrictions (amd no cranky neighbors) made for less stress. We will be back!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved the location of this place! The house was great. We only had two issues that came up during our visit. There were minor cleanliness issues. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were quite dirty. Also, the comforter for one of the beds upstairs had some stains on the top. The TV in the living room also had some minor issues. A lot of the apps on the TV didn't work. It didn't fully seem wifi related. Some of the apps worked, like YouTube. However, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video did not. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Perfect Capitola weekend

This house was immaculate, which i really appreciate in a rental. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for us and our 3 grandchildren.They didnt want to leave, we made memmories they'll never forget. And would rent here again i. A heart beat.

Perfectly located cozy cottage!

My bridesmaids and I stayed in this lovely property before my wedding in Soquel and we adored it. They provided super easy access which was great for a bigger group. Location was 11/10 too. It was nestled in a cute neighborhood away from the main Capitola Village traffic yet a perfect 2 minute walk to everything. So beyond happy we found this place!

A charming beach bungalow

This is our 11th year enjoying this beach house. Always clean, very well taken care of by the owner. We love to sit outside on the patio, kitchen is fully furnished for cooking and entertaining. Beach is just a few steps away as well as lots of restaurants and entertainment. We book our next year the week we leave Capitola. We love being there and look forward to coming every year.

A great little house and location

This was a great little house and location! The set up of beds was wonderful. We could have easily had more people and been comfortable. The backyard, though small, was well equipped and cozy. We loved being so close to everything and found our stay to be perfect. - only feedback is that it would have been nice to have some kind of goods for coffee in the mornings. We ended up going out to coffee and also buying our own supplies. But we would rent this place again! As a bonus we met great locals at coffee!

Wonderful Stay

What a wonderful house that is walking distance to the beach. We had a great time staying here. Spent most of our week on the beach and enjoying downtown Capitola. We loved the house and the kids especially loved the upstairs. They felt like they had their own hotel room. It was a great week and a perfect house to stay with the whole family. Thank You :)

Great location!

We loved the house! It was perfect for my daughter Sweet 16. We had 7 16 year olds in the house and they loved it. The rooms are set up perfectly for larger groups, the kitchen is well stocked and most importantly, our host was responsive and flexible.

Great Spot

We stayed for four nights. I would absolutely book the property again. We are a family of 5 with three kids six and under. The older two loved the upstairs bedroom. We had plenty of room to enjoy our time. The outside patio was also fantastic. The kids requested numerous times that we eat dinner outside. The location is perfect. Parking can get cramped on the weekends but we had absolutely no issue finding parking at any time during our stay and we came and went frequently. Hopefully we will be back in the future.

We fell in love with Capitola the first time we visited.
It is such a wonderful beach town, the perfect mix of sun, sand, shopping and dining. Everything you need or want is steps away. Sometimes we visit, and never get in our car. Other times, we take the kids to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, to famous surf spots...or visit antique shops in Soquel! We think it's the perfect spot to get away for a romantic weekend, or to enjoy with family and friends!

We loved this house because we have 3 kids. The layout is perfect for families. The great big space upstairs is so much fun for slumber parties-- and we've had many.
The way the house is designed the kids can hang out, make noise and watch movies upstairs and adults can have their own peace and quiet downstairs! The living room is at the opposite end of the house for adult peace and quiet:) After a full day at the beach, we used to sit around the fire pit for hours, while the kids were upstairs with their friends eating popcorn and watching movies. Fun times!
