Pocono Bliss is nestled within Penn Estates, one of the Poconos' premier private gated communities — surrounded by lush woods and the natural beauty of the mountains. It's the kind of neighborhood where you can take an evening walk under the trees, breathe in fresh mountain air, and genuinely feel a world away.

Within the community, the primary lake with its sandy beach is a 10-minute walk from the house — perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and a lazy afternoon on the paddleboards. Two pools, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball and volleyball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a baseball field mean there's something for every member of the group.

Beyond the gates, the Poconos deliver. Camelback Mountain is 12 minutes away for skiing, snowboarding, and waterpark thrills. Kalahari Resort is 20 minutes out. Downtown Stroudsburg offers charming shops, wine tasting, and a local craft brewery. Delaware Water Gap, Bushkill Falls, and Pocono Raceway are all within easy reach — as are local vineyards, hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, fishing, paintball, and ATVing.

Please be aware that beach and lake access within the community is currently unavailable. We want to make sure all guests are aware of this prior to booking.

If access to these amenities is important to your stay, please reach out to us with any questions before booking.

Access codes for both property entry points will be distributed prior to arrival.

Upon arrival at the Penn Estates gate, guests must present a valid photo ID and license plate number to receive a temporary access pass for the duration of the stay.

*Guest Registration* — Required Prior to Arrival: Guest registration is a mandatory HOA requirement. The Guest Registration Form must be completed no later than 4 days prior to arrival (or same-day for reservations made within 72 hours of check-in) and will request the full name (first and last; including children) of every guest in the party along with driver and vehicle details for each car requiring community access. Failure to complete the form on time may result in reservation cancellation or an additional $45 fee. Full details are outlined in the A Few Things to Know section below.

Complimentary community passes are provided for access to Penn Estates amenities during the summer months. Passes unlock access to one community lake with a sandy beach, outdoor swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, a dog park, and playgrounds.

Please note that the community swimming pools are seasonal and officially close for the season after Labor Day.

Please note: Neither the home nor Penn Estates provides sports equipment. If you plan to use the tennis, pickleball, or basketball courts, please bring your own rackets, paddles, balls, and any other equipment you may need.

Please note that community amenities are managed by the Penn Estates association. Availability and hours may vary due to weather, maintenance, staffing, or other factors outside of the owner's control. Refunds will not be issued for amenity closures or limitations. Please inquire with the owner prior to booking with any questions regarding amenity availability.

A car is essential for getting to and from the house and exploring the area — rideshare availability in the Poconos is limited, so plan accordingly. Once you're settled in, Penn Estates is a lovely neighborhood to explore on foot, though keep in mind the terrain is hilly in places.

The primary community lake with its sandy beach is a 10-12-minute walk from the house (0.6 miles), as are the pool and playground.

For longer trips, Pocono Bliss is conveniently located near major highways, putting New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey all within comfortable driving distance — making it an easy escape from the city no matter where your group is coming from.
