Cozy 1-bedroom with loft in charming Truckee home near Town and skiing

My home is close to the downtown Truckee area & some great local dining - Drunken Monkey (sushi), Thai Delicacy and 50/50 mo Brewery are just at the end of my street. There is also a local bus stop (TART) there as well. Our Regional Park, Golf Course, Truckee River, & Legacy Trail are all within walking distance. Northstar is the closest ski resort, but Palisades (Squaw/Alpine Meadows) and Sugar Bowl are also easily accessible. I have lots of local knowledge & am happy to help with your visit to Truckee!

The space
You'll enjoy the entire upstairs of our home to yourself. I live on the first floor and will be present throughout your stay.
You'll have a private bedroom with dresser, closet, and Queen bed. Bathroom with shower, large loft area for games, television, or computer time. Please note - a loft means it opens from above to the rest of the home.
It's on the second floor, overlooking the main living room, which I don't use when guests are in residence to allow you as much privacy as possible.
There is a TV in the loft, and another in the bedroom.
There are books and games available. Free wifi. Also some workout gear. Plus, mini-fridge and coffee/tea set-ups, and microwave in the loft.
Our house is close to Northstar and downtown Truckee. I can share tips for shopping, dining, and outdoor fun. We also have miles of trails easily accessible from the neighborhood for XC skiing and snowshoeing.

Guest access
You'll have the entire second floor. Access is through the front door on the first floor. Easy check-in with a code specific to you. Kitchen is available to you if you want to cook.

During your stay
I'm available to answer questions if needed, but plan to give you your space.

If I am around, I can help! I am always happy to provide guidance on hiking/mountain biking trails, local ski resorts, restaurants, shopping, special events...
There is great fishing in Truckee River, Prosser, Stampede and Boca Reservoirs.The convenient location is less than 5 minutes to I-80, downtown Truckee and within 10-20 minutes of Northstar, Sugarbowl, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake.

Please note the Town of Truckee charges hosts a 13.25% tax (based on the amount I make per booking) that I will need to collect from guests in addition to the cost of their stay. This can be done electronically outside of the platform. I will provide you payment information after you've booked.

Check-in is after 4pm. I may be able to make accommodations for earlier arrivals. Please ask.
Check out is by 11am.
