Location, location, location best defines this spacious mountain getaway. Located at the base of Hunter Mountain sits this beautifully, custom-built home, unlike any other in the area. Nestled in the woods at the base of Hunter Mountain, this inviting home is the perfect balance of convenience and serenity.
We just installed a brand new, paved driveway for your convenience and additional parking.
Only minutes to the lodge parking lot. Great access for skiers or summer festival goers.
Fire Works are frequently displayed during winter months and holiday time periods. You can see these from the comfort of our home right from the living room. In the evening enjoy a fire in the huge fireplace or a fire in the outdoor fire pit while sitting on the back deck.

A variety of restaurants, convenience stores, book stores, art gallery and movie theater are a walk or a short drive away.

The home itself is spacious and open. It is ideal for a ski trip with family or friends or simply relax by the fire in the living room.

There are 3 private bedrooms and 2 additional sleeping areas.

The entry level has a large mud room to store skis, boots, and all your gear, in addition to a washer and dryer. The entry level offers a spacious rec area equipped with a card table and foosball table. It has a beautiful custom full bathroom, cable TV, a twin bed and a pull-out queen sofa that sleeps 2.

The main level is bright and spacious with a fully updated and stocked, modern kitchen. The dining room can seat 8-10.
The adjoining living room has wall-to-wall windows on the mountain side offering an abundance of sunlight and great views of the mountain. There's a flat screen TV with cable and fire stick.

On the other side of the living room is a beautiful large stone fireplace. Wood is provided for you. You can see the Hunter Mtn New Years Eve holiday fireworks while relaxing on the couch in front of a crackling fire. There is a large deck off of the living room.

A lovely master bedroom with cable TV and beautiful custom full bathroom are also located on the main floor.
There is a deck off the kitchen with table and chairs which also can be accessed through the master bedroom.

The third floor has a beautiful custom bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. There are two guest bedrooms, each with two twin beds. Guest bedroom 2 also has cable TV. There is a loft area that has a twin bed. This level has a balcony overlooking the main floor living area.

I provide a very generous supply of linens and towels.
Wood is provided for the fireplace.
For your convenience we offer:
Coffee and tea service,
A generous supply of dish washer soap, paper towels, napkins, garbage bags and toilet paper.
All the makings of a perfect getaway!!!

We loved our vacation at Leslie’s home. She was extremely welcoming and responsive and the house was in great condition! Beds were comfy, kitchen and bathrooms were clean and the fireplace kept us cozy in below freezing temperatures. One minor note was the hot tub is a jacuzzi bath but we didn’t even miss it :) would definitely stay here again!

Family Holiday ski trip

Perfect Trip

This trip went about as perfect as possible! I went to stay for 2 nights with some friends to ski at hunter mountain. Leslie was great at communicating her expectations for us during our stay and everything matched the listing. Additionally, Leslie was very flexible with our check in and out times which made our stay stress-free! We had a lot of fun and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future! Thanks Leslie!!

Great house only steps from Hunter Mountain

There was plenty of room for 7 of us to eat and relax together. And the fireplace really took the chill out of late-April snow. The path from the back of the house made the walk to the mountain as easy as possible.

Good location to slopes

Leslie, the property owner, was great with communication. House was nicely situated with a short walk up through the back yard to easily get to Hunter Mountain ski resort. Stocked with plenty of fire wood to keep the fire burning keeping us all cozy and warm.

This home is in such a good location, is perfect for a big group of people and has all the essentials! Leslie also couldnt have been a better host. Such a great communicator and was so helpful and sweet! Will definitely go back for our next ski trip!

Cozy Chalet

My family and I had a great weekend at Leslie's chalet! It was literally steps away from Hunter Mountain. It was so nice to come back in from the snow and start a warm fire. Leslie was constantly in contact and a pleasure to work with. We would love to go back and would highly recommend it to anyone going to that area.

Perfect in every way

My husband and I and our three teenagers stayed at this lovely house for a quick ski trip last week. We loved the privacy of the house, the layout of the rooms, and the closeness to the mountain. A huge plus was the entry level laundry room, which had plenty of space for everyone to get all their ski ski gear on and then store all the equipment at the end of the day.My teens appreciated that there were three bathrooms . The kitchen is very well stocked, and we saved money by eating in every meal. Our host was extremely helpful and got back to us almost immediately with any need. Would highly recommend staying here for a Hunter mountain vacation.

Fantastic Home

This was our fist year renting Leslies home for Taste of Country Music Festival. Everything was exactly as expected if not better. There was plenty of room, close to the festival and all the amenities that you would have at home. Thank you and hopefully we will be returning next year.

NIce stay at Hunter Mountain Ski Chalet

We enjoyed our ski weekend at this nice-size chalet. It was very close to the mountain, possible to walk although we drove up and dropped everyone off with equipment. There were restaurants nearby for a reasonable dinner at night - again able to walk to the restaurants. The house was clean when we arrived and the bathrooms were well-kept and modern. The bedrooms and general living space were adequate for our group of 9 and just as described.

Presidents Day weekend stay

I stayed at the Hunter Mountain Chalet with my four adult children and grandson Presidents day weekend. We walked to Hunter base in morning to ski and ride, and my daughter, son-in law and granson walked to the tube park. The kids walked to Cosmic Charlie's in Hunter in the evening. The home was the perfect size and location for our yearly winter family get together. Thank you to Leslie and Janine for making the process easy.

Wonderful Home- Hunter Mountain Ski Weekend

We booked this home for a weekend to ski at Hunter Mountain. The house was perfect- the kitchen was well stocked, the house was clean and well-maintained. The owner was thoughtful and left baskets of soap, shampoo, and conditioner for the guests. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to the ski area. The owner was a pleasure to work with and the housekeeper was right on time and very helpful. The fireplace was amazing- our party, which included children, had a wonderful time. We are already planning our next holiday!

Great ski weekend! Perfect location to walk to the slopes. Loved the cozy fireplace and the wood supply! Kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, pots, cleaning supplies, etc. Coffee and tea were also provided as well as small toiletries in the bathroom. Overall, a great stay! One of the stairs is a little loose and a couple of cobwebs here and there. Communication with host was very good. Also perfect entry area with bench to put skis, coats, boots on. Would definitely stay again.

Great house, great location!

The house was extremely well situated walking distance to the lifts. Great house, clean and comfortable with enough room for 5 kids and 6 adults, game room, TVs, dinning room, etc. Nice fire place, and a piano! Kids asked to go back again soon :) The station: The kids clubs is wonderful, patient and professional instructors our kids loved it. Nice tubbing tracks. Only negative comment on the station: gets crowded, MLK weekend in particular: drop off at the kids club, line at the lifts... Overall good experience, good option close to the city.

Perfect Winter Vacation!

I had stayed at this Hunter Mtn Ski Chalet last summer when my family and I went to the German Festival. It was such an amazing stay last summer that we decided to try it in the winter for skiing. It was, in a word: PERFECT! The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. It has all of the amenities you could want. My husband and three children also thought the accommodations were ideal. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room are beautiful and after a full day of skiing, it was lovely to relax by the fire and look out to the mountain. The beds were very comfy and the playroom downstairs was great for the little ones. Best of all, we walked to the mountain everyday! The fact that we didn't have to drive was an added bonus. The yard around the house is also a plus as my children enjoyed playing in the snow after we got back from skiing. The whole experience was 5-star and we hope to be back again soon!

Hunter Mtn Ski Chalet

I would actually give this property 5 PLUS stars! What an incredible stay we had. The house is gorgeous, like something you'd see in House Beautiful magazine. I came with my family, including four children, and the accommodations were perfect. The house was spotless when we arrived, very clean. The bathrooms were also spotless which is very important to me. A great plus was the jacuzzi tub which was great after a long day of skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed and the appliances were all up-to-date, great coffee maker! The dining room table was large enough for my whole family and we enjoyed family style meals each night. All of the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting by the fireplace at night and looking out the floor to ceiling windows at the mountain. It was only a five minute walk to the ski area. We took advantage of the locker at the mountain so we left our skis and boots there every day. It was so easy and quite enjoyable to walk there and back each day. We loved the tubing and that was also only a five minute walk. There's a great downstairs mudroom to store all of your stuff and a fun play room that my kids loved, especially the bumper pool table. The owner of the property was easy to deal with and very thoughtful and accommodating. It was a dream vacation!

St Paddys Day Ski weekend

Thankfully there was a big snowfall just prior to our arrival. The skiing was very good for mid-March. The house was very nice. There were no issues with the beds, which for me is a top priority. The kitchen was well equipped, it is dated but in good shape, new fridge, everything worked well. The bathrooms were clean and have recent upgrades. There was a game room with foosball, which was fun. The mud room was perfect for gear drying and storage, new washer and dryer right there too. The driveway could be a challenge for some if you don't have, for the snowy weather, all wheel or 4-wheel drive. We had All wheel and 4 wheel and one front wheel drive, and we managed OK. It was plowed and cindered but it is a switch back and requires some parking organization for multiple cars. There was some salt I could spread in the morning after a thaw and freeze, so it all worked out. The walk to the lodge was through some deep snow approximately 100 ft through woods, across a road, up a snaow bank, and across two parking lots. I didn't do it but the young athletes in the group were fine. But kids needed drop off, which was very close. like 3 minutes. That goes back to the car organizing topic, you have to plan ahead a little. But we were fine with all of it, however I only mention because it could be a challenge for some who are driving challenged or timid on a hills or from....Florida?. Good spot, worked well for our large group.

Great family gathering place

This is a great home located close to the slopes at Hunter Mountain. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend skiing! There is a well stocked kitchen for home cooking and entertaining. We especially loved the wood burning fireplace for fun evenings playing cards and games. Very responsive and helpful owner when needs arose. We would stay again!

Great Ski House

We just came back from our second stay at Leslie's place for President's Day Weekend! It's the perfect ski house and our family loves how cozy it is and conveniently located it is to the Hunter Mountain slopes. Leslie is wonderful to communicate with and the most gracious host. The house has always been immaculate and she keeps it so well stocked with linens, towels and cleaning supplies. Look forward to our next stay.

This is a custom built home, like no other in the area. It is one of the premier homes in Hunter Mountain. It sits at the base of the ski mountain and is a short walk to the slopes. The home is both spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. You can walk to nearby restaurants, bars and clubs. Other restaurants, bars and clubs are just a few minute drive away.
Fire Works are frequently displayed during winter months and holiday time periods. You can see these from the comfort of our home right from the living room.

I am very flexible with arrival and departure times. Arrival times are very early so you can enjoy my home. If there are no conflicts with departures, I allow departures at any time on your departure date. I will advise as we get closer to your dates.
