Ski-in ski-out house with 5 bedrooms (all with king beds), 3 full baths, 1 half bath. Floor to ceiling windows on all 3 levels on the east and north side of the house with beautiful views of Deep Creek Lake, 3,000 ft in the Appalachian mountains in western Maryland.
Watch the sun and moon rise over Deep Creek Lake.
Large open kitchen, dining and living room surrounded with windows, a wood burning fireplace and 6 burner professional stove and large oversize deck.

We had a great stay overall. The owners were extremely attentive and provided excellent assistance throughout our stay, which really made a difference. Communication was easy, quick, and very helpful.The location is excellent, truly ski-in/ski-out, and the conditions this year were outstanding. It is hard to beat the convenience of stepping out and being right on the slopes.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that some of the plumbing fixtures and furniture are showing signs of age and would benefit from renovation. In particular, the toilets are extremely small and disproportionate, which affected comfort.

Nice Rental

Very nice property and just as pictures showed. The owners were very responsive to issues and questions. And the property was close to all the amenities offered in the area. Would recommend it to others.

Perfect house for our group

This house was a perfect location for our stay in deep creek! The house was a great size for our group of 9 adults and 5 kids. Kitchen area was large and nice for cooking and all hanging out. Bedrooms were all a nice size. Host was very communicative and always answered quickly to any questions we had. andand andwered

Good Home

Ok. House is very outdated and very used.Well, this is our first VRBO experience and not knowing what to expect. It was definitely not up to our standards. I was expecting a ski out house while I guess it technically is about a block away. It’s on a black diamond so if you’re not a very good skier, that’s an issue and you don’t walk just out you have to walk about a block just didn’t meet our expectations the furniture in the home should’ve been replaced years ago not very clean. Dust everywhere. Beds very uncomfortable and outdated.

Family Christmas gathering

Nine adult and one child family members with three dogs had an amazing and wonderful experience at this house. It met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect house for our Christmas get together. Unforgettable memories were made here and we thank the owners for the opportunity.

Great for multiple families

We had three families with kids ranging from 2-17 and this house had a great set up with two common areas and a hot tub. It's a quick walk to ski access to the slope at chair 5 which was great. The house was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was plenty of firewood which was great! The cleaning crew forgot to put soap and toilet paper in two of the bathrooms which was a little tough since we got in late and had such a big group, but the owner is super communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Best family vacation

4 generations of family gathered for a long weekend. The location was perfect for the skiers and non skiers to get to the lodge. Gorgeous views of lake and nature. We had 12 guests and slept comfortably, 16 might be stretching it. The kitchen was fully equipped, the hot tub was used by some even with the snow, and pool table was a great addition. The furnishings were dated but comfy. The hosts were very responsive to communications. I would go again.

Deep creek family trip

The house is big and lovely. 9 of us fit well with the 5 bedrooms and extra couches in the lower level. The property manager, Judy, was exceptionally responsive and helpful. But the TV package offered little of our favorite channels. There were no en-suite bedrooms so we had to share a bath. (We are the grandparents so didn’t love that idea.). Lastly, everything was very clean but dated. The furnishings could use an upgrade.

Wisp ski trip

The owner was extremely easy to communicate with. The view was spectacular from the house and the skiers loved the ski in ski out feature.

Lovely Home, needs some updates. some areas locked to renters

Owners are very nice. Master bedroom is closed off. Another large section of the house is closed as is the garage access. House was spacious. Needs a bit more deck furniture. Appliances were great. Furniture was worn. Hot upstairs but ac worked well in the rest of the house. Owner came by to access side of house we did not have access to. The photos show an upstairs view of the mountains; that is the master bedroom, locked to us as well as the area above the garage that had a nice private small deck; that was locked and off limits to us as well. I may have missed those details in the description of the property or perhaps this is common for the area?

Very Accommodating

The house is great. My family and extended family enjoyed it and felt very comfortable celebrating my mother’s 75th bday. Large enough to escape each other when need and very accommodating common spaces for game night and meals. Judy was an equally accommodating hosts with clear guidelines and helpful tips. There was a dining room rug that needs some TLC; otherwise, great stay!

Spacious home, great location

This house was a perfect location to host our family reunion with 10 people, ages 12-80. The older folks appreciated the bedroom / bathroom on main level so they didn’t have to do stairs. We all enjoyed the spacious kitchen/ living area, pool table and hot tub. Convenient to everything. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Ski-in/Ski-out Home

I stayed at this property with some friends for a Ski weekend. The house is located only about a block away from the slopes. It was nice to be able to walk to the mountain and immediately start skiing. This house is spacious and equipped with everything you'll need. We had some trouble getting the hot tub to work, but everything else was great! We will be back.

Wonderful house for medium size crowd!

We spent 4 days in Judy and Tom’s house with our 2 sons and their families. We had so much fun! House was clean, spacious and very homey. We did not miss any of our own homes ammenizies. Even weather cooperated. We are thinking to come back for winter ski vacation. Thank you, Judy and Tom!

4 Day Stay

We had a great time at Deep Creek Lake and the surrounding area. The house was a perfect size for our group. We enjoyed the view of the lake and biking up near the top of Wisp.

Deep Creek Family Weekend

Outstanding house that was perfect for our family of 12. The house is spacious and bright because of the number of windows. We really enjoyed the deck and the view of Deep Creek Lake. The entire family enjoyed the area and as an avid road cyclist I found great places to ride and further explore the area.

Dream home for a group vacation

This is a fantastic home to go with a large group. The house is even more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures suggest. The spaces are large and comfortable, the view fantastic, the kitchen very well appointed, the furniture very comfortable. We would come back a million times! Only a few small details could have made our stay better: 1) a 10 am check out for a group that large is too early. Even the standard 11am would be a huge improvement, it's hard to get that many people ready to go, and the house cleaned up by 10. 2) They really mean it when they say you should bring your own consumables. We had to go out to buy toilet paper by the first night, and there wasn' t even a small amount of dish soap, for example, which we did not think to bring. These small details would be inexpensive, and make the stay much more convenient for guests. That being said, these are minor gripes. I wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone.

AC not working - memorial day weekend

We reserved this property in March 2019. We booked it for 2 nights for the memorial day weekend (5/25 to 5/27). We were looking forward to getting away and enjoying our trip to Deep Creek. We had planned to relax at home and enjoy our time indoors at this property. It was a warm weekend. The outside temperature was in the mid-80’s. We checked in the afternoon around 3pm on 5/25 - couple of hours later we realized that the temperature of the home remained warm and uncomfortable. The home was just not cooling enough.. The NEST thermostat showed a temperature of 78 degrees and it was pretty warm and stuffy in the home. It stayed 78 degrees all thru our trip. Bottom Line: Air conditioner was broken and we were not informed about this by the owner of the property !!!! She happily accepted our booking in March which actually said “yes” for air conditioning when we reserved. (Of note, we received a final contract only a week prior to our trip (May 16) which had some shady language in small font, that AC is not guaranteed). The house remained hot and stuffy all night – it just did not cool. We texted the owner immediately the next morning – she replied saying to open the windows, etc. She did not mention, I repeat – did not mention to us at all that the AC was not working when she very well knew that it is broken. The thermostat stayed at 77 degrees the next day as well and we called multiple times that afternoon and evening but she did not respond to our calls. We checked out on 5/27 and subsequently contacted the owner again about the AC issue after we got back, she then told us that the AC was not working. Can you believe it ??? Took our money and is now not willing to offer any compensation for the inconvenience this broken AC caused us. Instead she is hiding behind the shady contract language that “AC is not guaranteed”. This is totally unprofessional behavior on part of the owner. I would not recommend this property to anybody. (Also note, we we filed an official complaint with VRBO which did not help at all)

We are avid skiers so the ability to ski right out the back door is a must! The large wood-burning fireplace is a perfect place to curl up with a book or gather with friends and family. Soak in the hot tub after a day of skiing or a long hike. We know you will love the space as much as we do!
