This is a BEAUTIFUL two bedroom, two bath on ground floor with everything you need!!
This two-bedroom two bath condo is located at the top of the mountain on Ski View Drive.This unit has totally been remodeled with new furniture throughout including a 48 inch television , brand new wood floors and a beautiful stone fireplace with electric fire logs. The queen sized sofa lets out into a comfortable bed. If you enjoy rocking, then rock away in the reclining rocker. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and new granite counter tops which features a snack bar and seating for four. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, blender, coffeemaker, electric can opener. There is a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Each bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen television, a queen sized bed with a brand new mattress and box springs. The name of the complex is High Chalet Condominiums. This is the complex with the highest elevation in the Smokies Area. However, you will not have to climb any stairs since this unit is on the bottom floor and in building 1. From the balcony of the condo, you can enjoy the mountain view of Mount Leconte. There is plenty of walking space to view the mountains from the resort and the pool area. Just park right outside your front door. Plenty of parking space. We have taken great care to make this unit both comfortable and beautiful at the same time. You will find everything you need for your amazing Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge vacation.

Free WI- FI service is provided in condo.We have the router in our unit. We might call to have guest to reset it occasionally.
The master bath has a tub-shower unit with a hair dryer. The other bathroom has a shower unit with also a hairdryer.

There is a start up supply of paper towels and toilet paper, dishwasher soap and hand soap.The laundry room, which houses the washer and dryer, is located on the second floor of each building. Cost is around 4.00 worth of quarters for both. Bring your own detergent.

The Resort has a large pool ( seasonal only ) 2 hot tubs, and a sauna for year round use.

High Chalet is a lovely, well maintained complex with plenty of parking space.There are 2 gas grills and several charcoal grills for outdoor picnics, a nature trail that leads into the woods. We have seen bears, wild turkeys, fox, and other wild animals from the grounds and resort.

You will find that the condo is immaculately CLEAN and well furnished to provide you with the best experience.You can count on the owner to help 24 hours a day if you have a problem.
You can go behind building 5 in the summer at 9:30 pm and watch the fireworks from Dollywood.

Sugarland Welcome Center has information on trails and other activities around the area to help make your vacation enjoyable.

Not as advertised. It is not a luxury unit. The unit is older. Lots of scuffed furniture, baseboards, etc. The blinds in the living room do not raise well. The tv was ā€œdownā€ and the fireplace was an older electric one that malfunctions when the heat option is attempted. This unit is just ok if you are looking for a basic place. It was clean at least.

DO NOT STAY HERE WITHOUT PROPER VEHICLES!! My all wheel drive suv could barely handle this. I expected it to be cleaner from previous reviews and ratings. The bedrooms are tiny & the master bathroom was not clean. We found a hair on the bed right when checking in.

The condo is cute, nicely set up but the beds are so unfortunately uncomfortable I didn't get much sleep. Maybe someone else might sleep well in a very firm mattress but we struggled.We didn't use any of the cookware or much else but it was reasonably well stocked as expected. Beautiful view from the bedrooms, was nice to wake up to.

Nice little cozy place. The only complaint is the beds are very lumpy and uncomfortable. And if you are not use to driving on mountain roads this might not be the place for you. It did not bother us besides at night was kinda skeptical of going out just because the roads are so narrow and curvy heading to top of mountain. But overall the stay was nice!

This condo was a great cozy little getaway spot! Way up in the mountain with a beautiful view. Cathy, the host was amazing, communication and accommodations were top notch! Totally bonus.. we got to see a bear right outside our window!! 10/10 recommend this cozy condo!

Wonderful Stay

This property is literally at the top of the mountain! It was so cool. Yes,there are bears up there; we just barely missed hitting a momma bear and 2 cubs about 2 curves from our "house". This place is quiet, away from all the busyness of Gatlinburg. The only drawback is that if you are daily touring Smokies, it is a ride down the mountain. Nice place.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any vacation property. I should have known it was going to be terrible when I received an email with the giant list of "rules" before we even arrived. The property owner was a nightmare. There were five of us for four nights, but only 4 washcloths were provided. There was no kitchen towel, no pizza cutter, and the oven pans were too big to fit in the tiny oven. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The pool was dirty, there were two hot tubs, one of which did not work. The "game room" consisted of a foosball table and a tiny pac-man arcade game that wouldn't load. The wifi kept going out so we never had reliable internet, and there is no service as this place is literally at the top of the mountain. The paint in the bathrooms was all chipped off on the baseboards. This place is not as nice as the pictures look. The sliding door to the back patio is broken so we couldn't even use it to go outside. When we checked out, we took out the trash and washed the dishes as requested by the owner in the "rules" email. We left at 10am, and before we drove two hours down the road, the owner sent us three invoices accusing us of stealing a pillowcase. She sent three invoices totaling 200 dollars for a pillowcase that was on the bed. I told her the pillowcase had came off the pillow and that it was on the bed. She continued to harass me and accuse me of stealing a "200 dollar" pillowcase. I do NOT recommend this place!

Great location

Bottom floor which is great for bringing in luggage but we had noisy neighbors above us. It was nothing that kept me from sleeping with ear plugs.
