Spectacular ocean and pool views! This condo is a recently remodeled two bedroom with additional loft. Upscale furnishings throughout with king bed in master bedroom, king bed in downstairs bedroom and 2 twin beds in loft area. Large flat screen in living area with additional TV's in each bedroom. Spacious new kitchen cabinets with pantry across from kitchen. Downstairs bathroom has walk-in shower with a beautiful bathroom cabinet and quartz countertop. Beautiful hard wood floors in the downstairs bedroom and living room. New carpet in upstairs bedroom and loft. 3 AC units for maximum cooling. The location is one of the best in the complex close to the pool, BBQ's and the beach. Very well appointed condo with high attention to detail.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great and the accommodations were good. The property management and/or the board appear to be curmudgeonly, as the pool rules are ridiculous and don't allow for kids or anyone to have fun, ie; no toys, games etc allowed. It is great to have the pickleball and tennis so close too, but some regulars monopolize the mornings, making it difficult to get a time that is not in the heat of the day. Overall, it was a great place to stay but I would not recommend it if you have kids.

First night was super hot but figured out the best way to use the air conditioner. The kitchen didn't have a wine opener and wasn't well stocked baggies, foil or any condiments etc. Overall it was fine cause we weren't there much.

Great spot

Our stay was great. The condo was just as it was pictured- aged a little, but very clean and comfortable. A VERY short walk to the beach- we spent most days at that specific beach- great area. Not "too" far from the small shops and other necessities. What was provided by the hosts was perfect, and instructions easy to understand. Plenty of parking for our group. The pools were a little cold, but very clean. I would recommend this spot for anyone with a larger group for sure.

Parts of the unit are remodeled and others need updating. The place sleeps 6 but only had 5 dining room table chairs. There are 3 beach chairs so we had to purchase a 4th. I have never had a unit that didnā€™t not have sufficient dining or beach chairs. The view was great and beach access fabulous as always.

Enjoyed our stay, great location, close to the beach and lower pool. Condo was very clean...nicely furnished and lot's of dinnerware. Upstairs bathroom needs updating.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The rental was just what we needed for a group of 6. The downstairs is updated and has a great view of the ocean. The unit is close enough to the beach to walk across the street easily. The storage area has all you need for the beach. Cons: the upstairs is outdated compared to the rest of the unit. The outlet in the upstairs bathroom fried my hair straightener. They only give you 2 rolls of toilet paper for a whole weeks stay. The upstairs loft is warm at night with no AC up there to cool it, but there are fans.

The unit had been renovated to an excellent standard with above average appliances and furniture. The beds were comfortable and all the A/C units worked well. The kitchen amenities provided were of good quality and good cleaning supplies made keeping things clean easy. The view from the lanai was enjoyed daily and we appreciated the generous number of beach towels, cooler, chairs, and beach toys that we were able to use.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE HAVE STAYED AT THE HALE KAMAOLE MANY TIMES OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS, IN VARIOUS UNITS. NEVER HAVE WE HAD SUCH A DISAPPOINTING, DIRTY COCKROACH-INFESTED EXPERIENCE. FROM THE FIRST DAY WE ARRIVED, WE NOTICED "BUGS" IN ALL SIZES. IT TOOK AWHILE TO CATCH THEM AND THEN IDENTIFIED THEM AS COCKROACHES. TWO OF THE OWNERS OF THE COMPLEX ALSO AGREED THAT THESE WERE INDEED ROACHES OF VARYING STAGES. SOME WERE AS BIG AS A SMALL BAR OF SOAP, OTHERS THE SIZE OF A QUARTER, AND THEN NEW HATCHLINGS. THEY WERE IN THE BATHROOM, ON THE STAIRS, IN THE LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN, WE EVEN FOUND ONE IN THE MICROWAVE. IT WAS AWFUL. WE COULD NOT RELAX. FINALLY, THE MANAGEMENT LISTENED TO US AND AGREED TO FUMIGATE THE CONDO (#273), BUT WE WOULD HAVE TO BE OUT OF THE CONDO FOR THE DAY, SO WE TOOK A ROOM IN LAHAINA, WHICH COST $1000, SO THAT WE COULD GET AWAY FROM THE COCKROACH-INFESTED ENVIRONMENT. NEVER ONCE WERE WE OFFERED A DISCOUNT ON OUR ROOM OR ANOTHER CONDO OR A REFUND. WE PAID OVER $12000 CANADIAN TO STAY HERE. NOT A FUN WAY TO SPEND OUR VACATION THAT HAD BEEN PLANNED FOR SO LONG, ESPECIALLY AFTER NOT TRAVELING FOR 3 YEARS D/T COVID. ALSO, OUR DISHWASHER DID NOT WORK FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE STAY - SO MUCH FUN WASHING ALL OF OUR DISHES BY HAND ON A VACATION. THE OFFICE WAS NICE ENOUGH, AND WE WERE VERY CONFIDENTIAL ON THE FIRST FEW VISITS, UNTIL WE REALIZED THAT THE ONLY COMPENSATION THAT WAS OFFERED TO US WAS THE REFUND OF THE CLEANING IN THE AMOUNT OF $350 (AM $). IN HINDSIGHT, WE SHOULD HAVE CALLED PUBLIC HEALTH AND REPORTED THIS GROSS VIOLATION. IT SADDENS US TO SEE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COMPLEX LOSING ITS APPEAL AND FALLING INTO DISREPAIR. THE GROUNDS ARE IMPECABLE, THE SETTING UNEQUALLED. HOWEVER, THE WAY WE TREATED WAS INCONSIDERATE, UNCOMPASSIONATE AND NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONAL. WE ARE A MARRIED COUPLE IN OUR 50'S, LOOKING AT RETIREMENT AND HAD HOPED THAT THIS WOULD BE ONE OF OUR VENUES FOR A THREE-MONTH-SPAN TO GET OUT OF THE COLD WINTERS OF ALBERTA. SO DISAPPOINTING.

Two twin beds in loft are firm beds but hey youā€™re in Maui who sleeps anyway when the salty air is calling and the waves are crashing!!!. Staff was AMAZING! Our ac was out in master bedroom they had a new one for us in 24 hours. Very nice and professional. Only downside was cockroaches. Only handful of them but this is so extremely common in tropical places thatā€™s itā€™s very hard to keep on top of but they do amazing getting the place serviced. Our stay was from Feb 6-20 2023. Highly recommend this place!!

Access to the grocery stores and restaurants easy and close by. There was 4 of us and we had plenty of room. Very comfortable to stay in. The view from the Lanai is wonderful. You can see the ocean for miles and the sunsets. The grounds are well kept. We sat on the lawn for some of the sunsets. The condo kitchen has all you need to cook. Pots, pans, cooking utensils and dishes. Storage containers for leftovers. Loved the blue ice blocks in the freezer. We used them to pack our cooler each day when we left. Did not have to fuss with ice. Staff at the complex was helpful and friendly. Pool was clean, easy access and comfortable to hang out at.Only con we had was there were no empty cupboards in the kitchen to put the food we purchased. We ended up putting it on the counter which ate up counter space. Would stay there again.
