Last minute requests are not guaranteed and subject to a fee. We cannot guarantee pool heat maintains when the air temperature is below 60ā„‰. This fee is not included in VRBO total and will be added once your reservation has been made.

Pros: Spacious home, right on the beach, nice outdoor space. Cons: TOO MANY TO LIST! We arrived at a dirty property & when the cleaner came they didnā€™t re-clean, just spot cleaned what we pointed out. There was dirt in the corners, fingerprints everywhere, sand on the chairs, hairs in the bathroom, etc. The 3rd floor AC didnā€™t work upon arrival, was fixed immediately, but the 2nd floor AC went out later that evening & wasnā€™t fixed for over 24 hours while HH was under major heat advisory. Kitchen refrigerator broke & was never fixed-took 2 days for us to get one put in the garage to use. The back door handle broke (only way out to the patio/pool/beach) & there were 3 waspsā€™ nests on the balconies & a kid was stung 8 times. The KICKER: the pool filter was broken PRIOR to our arrival, the mgmt. company KNEW & didnā€™t disclose it to us. When the pool maintenance person came to clean the pool later in the week, he told us they knew the pool wasnā€™t working. The pool was filthy & unusable as of the 3rd day (7 night trip) & unusable for the remainder of our trip. One of the kids ended up in urgent care with a double ear infection & another diagnosed when they got home. We had 4 families stay here & it wasnā€™t an easy trip as we spent more time dealing with house issues than relaxing. We were given less than one night in a refund for all the headaches we had. No urgency from the property mgmt. team. To be at a large house with ALL these issues for what you pay - RENT SOMETHING ELSE!!!

Beautiful House, Perfect Location! Kitchen was stocked wonderfully, is an. exceptionally clean and well cared for home! Comfortable , plentiful beds and well laid out for our group of 16!

The house overall was excellent for our family. It was very spacious and nice. The kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor area had plenty of seating although the pool was a bit small for a large family. The only thing that bothered us was all the little ā€œthreateningā€ notes that were posted around the house. While some of the notes were helpful, ones saying we will charge you for a replacement if you get makeup on a towel and we will charge you if the elevator malfunctions and we have to call for maintenance are a couple of examples. There were several others. Considering what we paid for the week for this beautiful house I found these notes very offensive. As far as the realty company is concerned we were very pleased. They sent a message checking to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. They sent another checkout message. I liked this a lot. It was much easier looking at this rather than having to try to find the info on their app. Overall we had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. The late checkin time was not good. All other places that we have rented the latest checkin time we have seen is 4:00. This one was 5:00. That is a bit late. One last thing, and I realize the realty company nor the owner had any control over this, was there was construction going on at two neighboring houses. The workers' vehicles were parked on the street which made it difficult to maneuver thru while they were there. We had threatening notes saying we would be towed if WE parked on the street. And the noise from saws and other equipment was a bit annoying. So, you may want to ask if there is any construction nearby if you don't like the noise.

Dirty House needs Maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has several maintenance issues requiring attention. The pool area has board lifting around it an nails coming up. Some of the pool furniture has holes. The house was not clean and smelled of smoke.

Great house for extended family vacation

The configuration of the house is perfect for a multiple family vacation. The property was nicely furnished with all the kitchen amenities needed. The loaction was fabulous. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Perfect Beach House!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of 12 people ranging in ages from 1 to 85. This house worked for everyone. The main floor bedroom was great. We appreciated having an elevator in the house for luggage as well. The beach access could not have been better. Lots of common seating space and a dining table big enough for all of us.

Good experience but pool deck is an issue

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is wonderful, the people at Vacation Homes of Hilton Head are easy to work with. Location of home is outstanding. My only issue, and in my mind it is a big one,was the pool decking and tile. We had four children between the ages of 3 and 10. The decking around the pool was very warped creating gaps between the decking and the pool that could catch children's fingers and toes. This was a safety issue and could hurt little children if fingers or toes got caught in the gaps. In one case a sharp edge protruded(nailed down once we mentioned). Do not rely on the pictures of the pool because the deck shown is the previous deck and not the one used currently. The tiles in the pool are falling out and need repair. I was told that the deck was installed last winter and the owner is taking action against the installer. Why was I not told this beforehand? I may have chosen a different home, and there were others available. I paid good money and, in my view, the pool was not up to expectations. I should not have to worry about my grandchildren getting their fingers caught between the decking and the pool. In the current condition I would not rent if I had young children. Again you should have told me beforehand.

Christmas in Hilton Head

Great house that worked well for a family of multi-generation adults. It was unseasonably cool and therefore we werenā€™t able to spend much time outdoors. The cable and wifi were intermittent with continuous buffering. Would like a better way to enter and exit the garage without having to call a family member to open and close the door as we went in and out.

beautiful home, just a bad week

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home at 29 singleton beach is beautiful. Unfortunately, our experience could have been better. The pool heater was broken, but we did receive a refund for the cost and were comped for rounds of golf. This was good for the golfers, but not the rest of the guests. Monday morning, the pool developed a leak. it was unusable monday and tuesday. ice machine inside was broken and never repaired. kitchen faucet only had hot water and and wasn't fixed. Like I said, the house is really nice but we did have a few inconveniences. i'm hoping we can be compensated for the frustrations.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great time. There was plenty of room. The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen had all the pots/pans/cooking materials one could think of. I think we used nearly every dish in the house because we cooked everyday. We had a great time. The only things that I say could be improved are the parking (I would have been able to fit 3 cars in the one garage if there wasnā€™t a car already in the garage, but regardless the community needs more parking areas, and the Televisons in the bedroom were not user friendly- had to call get get the master bedroom tv to work, the TVs in all the other roomsBesides the living room and master went unused because we could not figure it out). Besides that, the place was great and Iā€™d probably rent it again.

Elevator very helpful getting luggage up to the bedrooms. Home could use more casual seating near the kitchen...home rather formal.

Reviewer Comments: Our group (6 couples) is curious how the island survived the Hurricane, especially 29 Singleton Place.We did not opt for the insurance as the plan was not of value to us. We were 6 unrelated couples - illnesses and/or death in the family would not require our entire group to leave. As a note, unfortunately, 1 couple did depart on Tuesday due to illness.We are curious if you could graciously grant us a credit for a future stay? Many of us saved for a long time to stay at your place. We were unable to take advantage of many of the amenities of your home or the island. We were going to ride out the storm at least until Friday evening but were told by telephone from your representative that we had to evacuate early-- we did understand the severity of the situation. We felt that we left the home in the order that we found it and secured for impending weather.Any consideration you can give would be deeply appreciated. We would love to come back next October and give it a try again :)Thank you-Kathy Norman

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great for large groups. The kitchen is very well equipped and a joy to use. The views are gorgeous. The ocean is just a few steps away. My family enjoyed having Coco's on the Beach so close. The few negatives were the proximity to the walkway from the hotel. People would plant themselves right in front of the steps down from the house making it a little awkward for the family coming and going from the beach to the house. Also, the house was not very clean. It was extremely dusty and the vacuum provided blew out more dirt than it sucked up. The grill also had to be completely cleaned before it could be used. Apparently, the people who used it before burned asparagus and hadn't bothered to take it out of the grill. These were very minor things though. I just don't expect to have to do ANY cleaning when I arrive. I would recommend this house to others, especially large families of ten or more. You will love the ocean views, the beautiful house, and the amazing kitchen.

The downstairs had a refrigerator which was a lifesaver. Great trip from our family of 14.
