House and neighborhood was very nice, unfortunately we were notified on the way there that the hot tub and heated pool would not be available during our stay. While we still had a good time, a main reason we chose we this house was for the hot tub and heated pool, so it was very disappointing to not have them available for use.

Prior to stay, host was responsive and respectful. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher, expired food in fridge (several months expired eggs), broken and filthy patio furniture and patio that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year, and the pool lights not working/hanging out in the pool. When I reported this to the host via text, he did not apologize at all. I also had requested hot tub heat prior to our stay but once we learned there was no knob to turn hot jets on, no working pool lights, hot tub lights or landscape lights working, we asked for it to be shut off and a refund issued. Host was unresponsive at that time and on my 4th refund request over the course of 8 days, he replied with a completely inappropriate text full of vulgar and curse words- to the point that the VRBO representatives asked me to to post a screen shot of this reply on this review. After reporting this to VRBO, it still look another 5 days for the refund from the host. Would 100% not recommend renting from this host.

Excellent rental

The facility was in a great neighborhood with quiet streets. All appliances worked well. The grandchildren loved the heated pool and hot tub and putting green. There were lots of outdoor furniture to relax on and eat meals. The owner responded immediately when there was a mix-up of the door code and it was quickly remedied. The house was clean and provided everything we needed.

Spring break in Chandler 2024

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property! It was clean and decor was upgraded! We had great family time in the pool and hot tub! The chipping green added to more fun! The location is outstanding so going out a few nights was convenient! The owner Scott was pleasant to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed! Highly recommend and we plan on staying again soon!!

Golfers getaway

This one of my favorite places to stay in AZ. We were four golfers and this place is perfect for us. Very clean and well attended home with great pool and spa and a nice fire pit for nighttime rehashing of the day's round. Great grilling on the patio. Outstanding TV in the living room as we watched the Masters. If anything goes, Scott is always just a phone call away and is very accommodating to whatever development may arise. Its nice to have someone that helpful and gracious always ready to help. Would love to see a couple of flatscreens in the bedrooms but it's a small issue considering both the location and price of this well appointed home. It's not my last golf trip at Scott's place.

Should have listened to reviews.

Neighbors and area were great. The house was pretty clean. Backyard was nice. The pool and hot tub worked about half the time. We contacted the owner about every day regarding the heating issues. At first he was apologetic and offered to refund us the money for the days the heat didn’t work. On our last day there we were outside enjoying the weather and discussing the pool/ hot tub problems and what other renters had written in their reviews. The last phone conversation was him telling us to FO and FU! He didn’t care what we wrote in the review. And he hung up on us. Sort of made us think he was watching us on the cameras on the back of the house. We should have paid more attention to the reviews.

Very disappointing...Not as advertised

This backyard is not an oasis! It has been neglected, the pool and hot tub did not work the entire week. The owner is out of touch with what is expected of the vrbo community. An example of his lack of care and attention is when we made our concerns known, his words were “I don’t need to hear this” and hung up on me. Our concerns were valid, the property was not clean. There was a large scorpion in the master bathroom upon our arrival. There was no basic amenities -toilet tissue, dishwashing/laundry detergent, garbage bags. The coffee maker was a health hazard, we purchased a new one (and left it for the next unfortunate guest). There are many wonderful vrbo properties, this is not one of them.

Comfortable home in great location

We loved the home and the neighborhood. The backyard was so perfect for our family and the pool was awesome. Very clean house and comfortable beds. It had everything we were looking for.

Amazing, we loved it!

Clean, high quality EVERYTHING. Convenient location, yet tucked away. Communication with owner was always easy with immediate response. Couldn't ask for more. Backyard oasis added much fun and relaxation. We absolutely enjoyed every bit of our trip.

Overstated

We were on a buddy golf trip and it could have been better. We paid extra for the pool to be heated and it wasn't, the hot tub worked off and on, and the owner had another renter come and look at the house while we were there. We talked or texted with the owner almost everyday and multiple times in a day to communicate the issues with the pool and/or hot tub not working. A little more work than we wanted to do on our vacation.

Very relaxing vacation home

Able to reserve this nice location on short notice after other plans fell through. Appreciate Scott’s assistance with the pool once we were able to reach him. Perfect place for a quiet relaxing vacation with the private pool!

Holiday Family Visit

Very nice well equipped property. Nice pool and hot tub as well as outdoor putting green and gas fire pit. Kitchen well equipped and very nice TV in great room. Nice, quiet residential neighborhood. Home is very close to shops, restaurants etc. and was very convenient to our family in the Chandler area.

Mixed review - good and not so good

First the positive. Overall this property is nice, but we would never stay again. The location is good and safe - zero issues there. The house is nice, the kitchen/family area are it's best features. We did pay to heat the pool/hot tub and don't regret it - very nice, and clean. The house was clean but, with the exception of the Master, the bedrooms are but basic and don't heat evenly, the master being cold no matter what, even when other rooms were hot. The sheets in all but the master are old and pilled so not comfortable against bare skin. One bedroom has a leak above it and the ceiling shows the past and present water damage in several spots. The mattresses also vary greatly in comfort. I spent the entire vacation somewhere other than with my husband as the front bedroom mattress is very uncomfortable. (sofa is not too bad for sleeping). But these aren't the reasons we won't go back. The day after I got home I received a text from Scott, accusing us of damage, scratches on TV cabinet. Mind you, I had let him know about things that were broken prior to our arrival and we replaced some batteries for him, batteries that we had to buy ourselves in order to replace. So, clearly I would think we had demonstrated our responsible nature. I let him know that in no way did we damage the furniture, it would have had to have been a dog or a small child, neither of which we had with us. He asked why I didn't tell him about the scratches - none of us noticed this and even if we had I wouldn't have thought to tell him. He said he would get back to me, once he spoke with his housekeeper again. He never got back to me. Never said what he was going to do, never apologized for accusing us, nothing... We just had to wait to get our deposit to know. We did get our full damage deposit back, but I sure would have liked an apology.

Great Stay

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the property. The property was clean and well taken care of. We did miss the fine print that we had to request/pay extra the pool & hot tub to be heated. Not a huge deal but wish we had known ahead of time.

Nice neighborhood

Comfortable good location for visiting family. Had several dinners & used the bbq. Really felt homey. Nice safe neighborhood. We should have requested the heater to be on for the pool. It was a bit chilly our fault for thinking 90+ days would keep pool warm.

Great place to stay!

The house was everything we had hoped it would be. Decorated very nicely, clean, plenty of towels and linens. There were plenty of kitchen utensils. The pool was great, we did pay the extra to have it heated, but well worth the money! Quiet neighborhood, close to golf courses and grocery stores. Would highly recommend this to anyone needing a place in Chandler!

Great place

This was a wonderful place. Great location, clean, comfortable beds and the backyard with the pool was fabulous. Scott was available for any questions we had or assistance when necessary. We will definitely stay here again if we make it to Phoenix.

Great location

We have rented several homes from VRBO and this is the first time I feel the need to mention a few things. First, I must say that the house was beautiful and all on one floor. We were three couples and all had a comfortable rooms. The backyard was great and we especially enjoyed the covered seating area outside the patio doors. The downside to our stay was that we enjoy cooking great meals and the kitchen was not equipped with the proper pots and pans (we had to cut crab legs in pieces and boil them in small amounts). There was not enough paper toil, no foil, saran wrap and a spice rack would have been nice. Since we had to buy more than we usually do, I hope others got to enjoy what we lwft behind. The cupboards were bare when we arrived but we left stuff for the next guests. We had access to wifi but it ended a day in half before we left, saying the password was no longer valid. It also would of been nice to know that we had to download and app to get music, that took a little time. Also, no note was left to inform us that the towels were in the dryer as we searched for pool towels. One last thing, the barbecue drip pan had not been cleaned in a long time and we had a scary situation one night. We cleaned it before we left for the next guests. The weather was great and we had a good time, however we expected much more for the money we paid. We will be going back to Arizona but sadly it won't be at this home.

Golf get away

We had a fabulous week at this property and would highly recommend it. We were 4 guys down for a golf get away and it exceeded our expectations. The location is great with easy access to major highways regardless of where you are trying to get to. All amenities described by the owner were there and working. The hot tub was a blessing after 36 holes a day! We had one small issue where we lost wi-fi connection and the owner responded within half an hour and had it fixed. A great house for a relaxing get away or to use as a home base while visiting the greater Phoenix area. We would definitely go back. Thanks Scott for making our trip that much more enjoyable.

Outstanding visit

We have rented many homes from VRBO and this is the first that I feel strongly enough to write a review. Our family visited Chandler for a reunion and baby baptism in June. We had an outstanding time at this home. Scott, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a few minor issues and he resolved them in minutes for us. His main objective was for us to have a wonderful time at his home and he could not have been more helpful and supportive. They layout of the house was perfect for families, and the Master bedroom and bath was amazing. It truly felt like we were on a luxury vacation. The fully furnished office was a real plus as well. We were able to print out our boarding passes right at home. The backyard is really the gem of this property. The pool is outstanding and swimming at night, with the changing colors is a real treat. I strongly recommend this home for anyone who is looking for a home with lovely furnishings, totally wired electronically and a backyard that is first rate. Also, having an owner that is so thoughtful and easy to reach is really the most amazing feature of this home. I give this home my highest recommendation.
