Coral Breeze - Spectacular views spacious layout!!!

Coral Breeze is conveniently located in George Town and is within a 20 minute walking radius of restaurants, food stores, banks, the water taxi and a beach. However, I suggest a car rental for your convenience.

Coral Breeze has a spacious design with pocket doors through out. The living area is open to the kitchen and houses a queen pull out sofa.

The kitchen is equiped with stainless steel appliances and all basic cookware, dishes and flatware.

The bedroom holds a queen sized bed with an over sized tub and walk in closet.

There is an en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower. The bathroom can also be accessed from a hall entry.

The porch has a spectacular view of the ocean and nearby islands.

Check In: 3pm
Check Out: 11 am

Please confirm your arrival and departure times prior to travel. Check in and check out times are flexible and you will be accommodated based on availability.

Directions to Coral Breeze
Headed east from the Exuma International Airport enter George Town and pass the hosptial. Then take the next right. Drive to the top of the hill just pass the blue house on the left. Coral Breeze is set back from the road with an elevated driveway. Its off white trim brown with a blue door.

Coral Breeze is apart of a secluded up scale subdivision with elevations that take in panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The neighbourhood is dog friendly and most neighbours keep their dogs in their yard and retrained. However I would like to warn about two dogs belonging to the house at the foot of the hill that are allowed to move freely.

Exuma is a vast expanse of land surrounded by beautiful beaches. To fully appreciate its charm its best to rent a vehicle and go exploring. However, restaurants, groceries stores and banking are within a 20 minute range on foot.

Excellent option for a family

Great Place close to George Town Exuma

Great place to stay for my wife and I. Very comfortable and well appointed for keeping house, if that's what you want to do. We rented a car to take advantage of the entire island and the many fine restaurants within a short drive. Loved it!

Home away

Coral Breeze makes an awesome home base for island adventures with its fairly well appointed kitchen, location near Georgetown and the Queens Highway. The View of the harbor from the front porch was our morning coffee delight. We've stayed in $2000 a night houses, and resorts on Exuma and this suits us very well.

Melissa, our host, was super responsive and addressed all of our concerns promptly. Very honest as well! The house was well equipped with towel, kitchen, washing machine/dryer… you definitely need a car but very well located to both sides of the island!

4.5 stars would be perfect

My husband and I stayed at this property in Georgetown and found it to be the perfect size. It was adequately stocked with what you'd need for a few days or a week stay. The check in and check out process was smooth. There was a pretty big incident, but not to the fault of the property owner. I'm mentioning it here so that travelers have the info needed to make a good decision. There was an issue with the water supply from the town, and the house ran out of water during our stay. We alerted the property manager in the morning and a few hours later she contacted the city to get more delivered. They never actually delivered it, but by the time we beach-hopped for the afternoon the water issue had resolved itself. Other than that, the stay was pretty good! The driveway is really rough but the location is great and allows you to explore the Exumas conveniently.

Great Central Location for Exuma

While not a romantic home, it certainly was functional for all of our needs while on Exuma. Possibly on us to mention to Melissa earlier, but the water was brown out of the faucets for our stay. Melissa was kind, pretty responsive, and thankfully let us keep our luggage at the home after check out so we could have one last Exuma experience. I would definitely stay here again, but would buy some more drinking water than I did. Plus the view was beautiful.

Second visit!

We stayed at Coral Breeze back in July and decided to stay again when we returned to Exuma in October. We absolutely love the convenient location of the cottage and beautiful views from the front porch. The home is well appointed and comfortable in a nice, quiet hilltop neighborhood. The owner is very helpful and responded promptly to our questions. One of the most beautiful beachers in Exuma is minutes away, as are shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Great views and location

Coral Breeze was absolutely perfect for our stay in Exuma. The house is very charming, comfortable and has great views from the porch. The location is unbeatable and gives you easy access to both ends of Exuma. We loved being so close to Georgetown and the restaurants at the Fish Fry. Jolly Hall Beach is a five minute drive from the house and is absolutely stunning and great for sundowners. Other reviewers have mentioned the driveway... while it is a bit rough, it is not steep and we managed just fine in our compact car. The owner Melissa is very responsive and eager to make sure you have a nice stay. We are frequent visitors to Exuma and will definitely stay here again when it’s just the two of us!

Laid back - loved it

We loved Exuma and the appointed but laid back feel of this house. The breeze is amazing and the views are even better!! We wanted a less resort-y experience and it was perfect.

Comfortable place close to everything you need

We had a wonderful time in exuma and the Coral Breeze has everything you need. All the necessities were here to cook, etc. The only “critique” we would have is the electrical plug in the bathroom needs repair (doesn’t work). Everything in the house is updated and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. The electrical outlet has a safety feature that prevents electrical shocks in the bathroom. You would have only needed to reset it. I would have been happy to address this issue if it had been pointed out to me during your stay. Hope to host you again soon.

Great VRBO for two

Great location in Exuma. $30 taxi ride from airport and to airport is standard from Georgetown. 10 minute walk to Shirley's at the Fish Fry - we would have eaten here every night but it's closed on Wednesday and Thursdays. The food at the other shacks around Shirley's aren't anything close to hers. We would recommend the coconut grouper and the conch fritters. The only thing that would've made our trip even better would have been if we had a rental car but we weren't 25 and that is the minimum age. It's about a 15-20 min walk from Coral Breeze into Georgetown where there's an ATM (most places only take cash), small grocery stores (which aren't open on Sundays), Driftwood Café (only place we found that sold coffee), and some other restaurants and bars we didn't try. The first day we did a bonefishing trip with Bonefish Stevie who we would come back to again. He picks you up from the VRBO and takes you back as well. We did a full day of fishing which tired us out a lot but was fun. The second day we relaxed and walked down the hill from the VRBO to a small beach where there used to be a resort and the building frames are still there but no one else was around. The third day we took an awesome full day boat tour with Robert's Island Adventures. We got picked up from Exuma Market in Georgetown and were driven all the way up to the north end of the island where Sandals and another resort are. The tour took us to iguana island, swimming with the nurse sharks, pig island, lunch, a sandbar, snorkeled through the Thunderball Grotto, and they pointed out some celebrity houses on private islands. They provided Goombay Smash drinks and snacks along the way as well. The tour guide was great and it's a family owned business. Would highly recommend! Overall, this is a great location to stay at because it's away from all the resorts where a bunch of tourists are. A car would be good so you can see more of the island and taxi's can get expensive. The house was clean and had everything we needed!

Hi, I'm Mel. I was born and grew up on New Providence Island in the Bahamas. I became a physical education teacher and relocated to South Andros Island in 2010 and moved again to Exuma in 2015 where I currently reside.

I teach PE to 4 different primary schools here on the island as well as a school for special learners.

I became a host in January of 2017 and love meeting new people and being apart of their vacation experience.

I visited the island back in 2013 and fell in love with the beautiful waters. Although I've lived in the Bahamas all my life I've never seen water this particular shade of blue. It is simply breath taking. Once I saw the view from this lot I was sold. It's also very conveniently located.

The villa was built from the ground up by my own personal design and is a smaller part of a larger plan to be built in the future.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The greatest benefit of this property in my opinion is the view. Words cannot describe it. You will have to come and see for yourself.

In addition to the view the house is designed with relaxation in mind with a soaking tub in the bedroom and large walk in shower. It is also very spacious with an open floor plan.
