Nani Kai Hale 405 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront Hawaiiana style condo along Sugar Beach. Enjoy your stay in this private condo with comfortable furniture and a split AC unit in each room. The open floor plan living room leads to a lanai with both ocean and Haleakala mountain views. The master bedroom has a wall mounted TV, split AC and a king size bed. The master bathroom has a custom stone walk in shower.

The living room has comfortable furnishings and an updated 65" smart TV. The sleeper sofa combo has been updated to a queen memory foam mattress and can comfortably sleep two guests. The fully-stocked kitchen with full size appliances is fully equipped to cook meals from this oceanfront condo. This unit has high efficiency split air conditioning, one in the bedroom and one in the living room/kitchen and ceiling fans for our guests that prefer open to enjoy the fresh air.

At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Nani Kai Hale is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a shared oceanfront pool next to the grassy lawn space. This area also has an outdoor BBQ/kitchen common area and this space is well equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy. On each floor of the property, is a pay-to-use laundry room each with two washers and two dryers.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice. The view was good but it was so windy there were days it was unpleasant to sit outside. Location to beach was excellent and restaurants not far away. Found a food truck area that offered every kind of food only about 10 minutes away.

Great area with easy access to the beach. The property is nice. The pool is a great feature so there's a choice is you don't want to be in the ocean.

Enjoyed the location overall

Great place and love the location, could use some updated appliances but we mostly just used the bbq's so it wasn't a big deal. The private area was well maintained with comfy chairs to enjoy the sun. I would stay here again in the future.

Amazing!

From beginning to end this was an fabulous time. We have visited in the past. We are in love with this rental. So clean, so quiet, ease of entry and beach access. The management worked with us on changes and we just could not be happier with our place. We had everything we needed and then some extras. ( beach chair's, umbrellas, beach towels. ) we cant wait to come back!

The only little issue we had was the cleanness of the place specially bed covers and kitchen they need a little more care. other than that it was perfect.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is beautiful, but some important issues. The unit is poorly stocked. Utensils missing, mixed coffe cups& glassware. I called Bello and they sent new spoons, forks, and glasses. Couch, chairs, and pillows all totaled worn out. TV not set up. Unit overall is nice, but total lack of upkeep.

The location in North Kihei is 30 minutes to Lahaina, 15 to Kahului, 20 minutes to Wailea area, close upcountry as well - so pretty much close to all areas and things to do with exception of Hana and Haleakala.😁Unit was well equipped with everything we needed. Cleaning could have been a bit better - shower to bedroom, my feet were visibly dirty and the master toilet had mildew around the upper bowl, which I cleaned myself. Bed in master was comfortable with nice quality sheets! Sofa bed - well it’s a sofa bed - I’ve never found one to be “comfortable”, but it was fine for our daughter. 😁. Grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed grilling and sitting on the lawn for sunsets. Will stay again!

Reviewer Comments: We always buy our own snacks (my daughter picks out $50 worth at Trader Joes for our round trip) since Southwest doesn't serve meals. I saw there were ants on the kitchen counter (kind of hard to see since the counter is black and they are minute size). So I opted to continue to store the snacks in the dufflebag in the bathtub. Day two of the stay the manager calls and says the handyman is coming into fix the bathtub (where our food was stored) and fix a handle off the dresser. I told her we didn't use the tub except for storage from the ants and have him wait until we leave. Management disregarded my request. The tub drain was up and ants were in my dufflebag with the zipper open one inch. I e-mailed management, sent photos and they didn't take responsibility for the ants and also inferred they came when we came. She also offered to bring an ant bait trap. Come on, when you are paying big bucks to go to Hawaii, stay in a condo etc. You don't expect to be treated poorly and requests disregarded. Additionally the patio shook while we stood on it and the patio door shuts on its own. I wish I had a ball to see it roll on the patio. That makes me question the integrity of the building. Other than the ants ruining our snacks the bed was comfortable, but the hide-a-bed wasn't (I tried out both).

The hot water in the hall bathroom wouldn't turn on unless you held the spigot while turning the hot water handle and the drains in both bathrooms ran slow but it was a great stay.

It was disappointing so it you want clear water, gotta go a little further north or south. This condo has everything you need for the stay. My favorite thing is the 2 full bathroom. I feel that the furniture were old and needs upgrade. The fan in the living makes a scraping noise and the garage can is broken. It’s one of the trash bin that you have to step on the lever to open. Other than that, this was an ok for me. Oh one thing I have to mention, there’s no washer/dryer in the unit but there is a facility right next door. Be prepared to download the app and add funds to pay to wash your clothes.

The complex grounds are kept in fantastic shape and the grilling area, pool, and grass lounging area are a big plus. The beach area in front of the complex is nice and quiet. The laundry rooms on each floor are nice for not having in-room washer/dryers.The unit itself could use some furniture updates in the living room and bedroom. It's nice to see from other reviews that updates could be coming soon. The couch and other chairs are pretty worn and the dresser and bed frame in the bedroom could use some updating. The bed however was extremely comfortable, could just use some new pillows. The bathrooms are nice, some cleaning in the showers would go a long way. Kitchen area was what we expected. Not a ton of storage or utensils but enough to get you by for a stay. Views from the lanai were great.The main issue we encountered with this unit was the overall cleanliness. About 10 minutes after our arrival, we noticed the bottom of our feet were extremely dirty from walking around the unit. The floors were filthy and in need of a deep clean. We called Bello and immediately someone was there to clean the floors so big plus to them for addressing the issue quickly. Even with that cleaning though the floors still remained dirty and we had to wear slippers around all week to avoid dirty feet. Like previously stated, the bathrooms could use a good cleaning but other than that they were really nice. The other cleanliness issue we encountered was with the AC unit filters. We noticed the AC unit struggling to keep the rooms cooled and when we checked the dust filters, they were caked full of dust. We cleaned those and the AC unit ran better the rest of the week. Although we wouldn't stay in this particular unit again, we would definitely use Bello Realty and stay within the Nani Kai Hale complex again. This unit needs a deep clean and hopefully receives that and the potential furniture upgrades soon.

This unit was ideal in that it was a bit further north and at the "crossroads" between Kihei, Lahaina and Kahului. We had great views, a nice pool, grassy area with lawn chairs overlooking the ocean, and there was a fantastic beach. The unit itself was clean and the extra bathroom was a plus at times. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
