Great location! Wonderful family house, just steps to the beach!.

This house allows you to truly experience Fernandina Beach! It is like stepping back in time! This house has a whole lot of charm and personality! There is just nothing to beat sitting in the front porch swing enjoying the lovely breeze with a view to die for! This is what vacation is all about!

The house is not directly on the beach. There is a public sand road in front of the house which is used by cars, but don't let that deter you from this wonderful, quieter part of the beach. This in no way hampers your views of the ocean!

This charming house with hardwood floors throughout has Wifi, stacked washer/dryer, and ceiling fans throughout. Linens and towels are not provided. Please inquire if you would like to rent from us.

The living/dining area is bright and charming with an open floor plan. The seating is comfortable while you enjoy the ocean views! Also, there is Dish TV with a DVD player to enjoy!

The kitchen is small and compact, yet it has everything you need to cook up your favorite meal! Please take note, the dishwasher is a portable unit, so please remember to follow the instructions! The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and seats six.

The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.The four, bright bedrooms branch off of the living room. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on either side of the living area.

The master bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has a full bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a pedestal sink and a tub/shower combination. On the opposite side of the house, the third bedroom has two twin beds. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom between these two rooms has a Shower

There is an outside deck off the kitchen with chairs and a gas grill.

The best part of the house is the unique and totally relaxing ocean front covered porch! It is open to the wonderful sea air and sound of the crashing waves! You can swing or rock, and enjoy the laid back island life!

There is parking for two vehicles along the side of the house.

We know you will fall in love with Amelia Island! And once you've experienced this charming house, you will want to make it a favorite destination!

We enjoyed our stay. Loved this nostalgic beach cottage.Evenings on the porch with the ocean breeze were wonderful. Easy acess to beach.Sunrises beautiful!We had no issues with the cottage.

We were a group of seven women over the age of 50 and absolutely loved our stay! We are beach combers and treasure hunters seeking out cool stuff from nature to turn it into art. This Charming Beach house was perfect and has a great view of the ocean where we spent every morning watching the sunrise. Everything about our visit was perfect. And I can’t say enough about Amelia Island! One of the best east coast “old” towns to visit! Shopping, music, entertainment, Fort Clinch!; it’s all there and very laid back. Thank you Lee! Your place is so cool…

Great Girls Weekend!

Plenty of room - never ran out of hot water (5 of us). Wonderful ocean view and easy access to the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely Beach Cottage!

This was the perfect little beach cottage! Amazing location, being just steps away from beach access. Loved how charmingly it was furnished, and how spacious it felt! I also really appreciated how helpful the property manager was. Overall a fantastic experience!

Cozy beach cottage

If you are looking for a clean, simple rental on the beach- this is for you. The beds are comfortable and there is a big table for family dinners or playing games. The front porch is great in the afternoon for drying off from the beach and catching the cool breezes from the ocean.

We enjoyed the “Beachhouse” location. It was adequately furnished and clean. For those who like the ocean or walking the beach it is a perfect spot. Also quiet neighborhood in November.

So on the beach!

Roomy and right on the beach. It was lovely to swing on the deck and see the ocean and feel the breeze. Cannot beat the price for oceanfront. I would rent again.

Beachside gem

We loved our stay at this little beach front home. Lee was very responsive and we felt comfort and satisfied here. I cant wait to come back and experience this place again, the location couldn’t be better. It had lots of room and comfortable beds for a small group and we loved the big open living area for games, etc. I personally loved the little quirks of this place. Truly a hidden gem.

Perfect girl getaway

We were 6 ladies on our annual vacation, and we’re so fortunate to have found this lovely beach house in Fernandina Beach. There were plenty of beds, the kitchen was well stocked, and the long table was perfect for games or large puzzles. The porch was the place to be for sunrises, they were a delight to behold each morning. The location was perfect, we went in to town at least once a day to eat or shop. All in all, a great place to stay!

We love this house!!

This house is very charming. It’s old and quirky with an amazing front porch. Fresh paint on all the walls and updated bathrooms. Easy walk to beach. Rhona, the propriety is very sweet, we had problems with the stove one night and she promptly fixed the problem and treated us to a gift card to a local restaurant, for our inconvenience. We will definitely be back.

This house was exactly what we were hoping for. The front porch was everyone’s favorite! The cool breeze off the ocean was so great. You cannot see the waves crashing from the porch but can hear them and feel the ocean breeze! The walk to the beach was not bad at all. My 80 year old mom walked to the beach every day. Your on a dirt road and feel like you are at the locals part of the beach. We also LOVED the historic town of Fernandina Beach. Coffee shops, quaint little diners, ice cream shops, shopping and super friendly people! Very historic with old beautiful buildings. Then arriving back at this little old house on the beach just felt right. A hotel room would not have been the same vibe. Would love to come back and hope we can!! The first night we were there the ac quit working. Texted Lee and had an ac company come fix it in 30 minutes!

Quaint beach side cottage

The beach cottage was clean and pleasantly decorated. Their was 6 in our party , so the teenagers each got their own bedroom . The front porch was wonderful in the afternoon and evening with a view of the sand dunes and great ocean breeze. The back porch was great in the morning for a cup of coffee or reading. The kitchen was well supplied with pots/pans/ mixer and other items to fix meals. There is also a grill on the back porch. It is 150 steps to the boardwalk from the porch. We have stayed at various condos and houses in Fernandina Beach over the last 20 years. This one was my favorite. It is not lavishly furnished- but comfortable and spacious for a family of 6 at the beach.

Cozy Cottage

North Beach of Fernandina is where it’s at during spring break. We found this little house that punches all the checklists for comfortable, close to the beach, quite neighborhood & beautiful sunrise views. This little house has four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and perfect for a family of eight. The kitchen is small but serves it’s purpose quite well. The beds were all comfortable and plenty of closet space for clothes. Furniture is rustic and old which I don’t mind at all. Love rustic. The house was perfect for what we were looking for, close to the beach with ocean views. I do wish the dunes was just a little bit smaller or the house lifted up a little bit, but still nice views. The location of the house is great to, the beach seemed almost private, away from all the spring breakers. Very quite. We will definitely be renting here again!!!
