We enjoyed being in that beautiful cozy tiny house. Very well thought out…..everything you could think of was there even a surprise goodie bag! Especially cozy with the instant heat if needed and it was. The shower was wonderful too! Thank you!

This was the perfect little getaway on our Anniversary trip. It is close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, but just far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Every little detail was thought of from the waters in the fridge to the laundry soap. We would Definitely stay here again!!!

an A experience. We highly recommend Dan's cottage. Every detail was well thought out, and the cottage was very comfortable! It's clean, has state of the art appliances, and a lovely setting. Dan was great to work with, and we hope to return.

We really enjoyed our stay! The tiny home was clean and organized. It had everything that we needed. It has a small kitchen for cooking. The host left us some water, tea, coffee, and snacks. We took a really nice hike at the Bluff preserve. In the morning, we sat on the porch and we watched a male and female deer come by and eat apples off the apple tree! The property is beautiful and has a lot of meadows and wildlife. The shower had hot water and toiletries already available. Very comfortable place!

Overall, this was the best lodging experience that we had while visiting the region out of four different properties. The host greeted us with a personalized card, had some beverages and snacks available and made check-in extremely easy. Also recommendations for a small nearby town to visit were very welcomed. The space is very clean, it looked like it was just built and we were the first ones to stay in it even though I know we were not. The inclusion of a washer dryer was a huge selling point as this was towards the end of a weeklong trip and being able to have fresh clothes packed in the suitcase to travel home was wonderful. Additionally, the area is a little bit remote, but the affordability made driving an hour in and out of Bar Harbor and Acadia worth it. I would definitely recommend this property and host to anybody visiting the area.

This stay was stunning. The host was kind and the rooms were incredibly clean and equipped with anything you might need! The game room is so cute and fun and held surprises in every corner. The yard out back was lush and full of the nature we so greatly appreciated starting our days with. Highly HIGHLY recommend staying in this beautiful and quaint home

The tiny home was spotless and cozy. We loved having a fridge stocked with waters and a kitchen to cook in. We also greatly appreciated having a washer and dryer for our laundry. The site is quiet, peaceful, and very pretty. Would recommend this stay!

The place was perfect for a long trip. It had everything we needed. It was clean, we had the ability to cook meals there and even laundry. Great place to stay for a short or long trip. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this mini cabin while we explored Arcadia for three days! The place had absolutely everything that we needed. We home-cooked our dinners (a luxury we didn’t have during our hotel stays) and loved lounging in the peaceful atmosphere outdoors. The host is super responsive and check in was very easy! We felt very safe in the area. The game room was a sweet touch, and was great for my daughter to hangout in while I grilled. The provided TV had every streaming service you could imagine, and the WiFi connection was great! They provide a wonderful welcome book with all the info you need, and also several neat suggestions on places to visit nearby. The washer/dryer was very convenient, especially because they provided detergent for us! We absolutely would stay here again. Loved it and made some great memories!

Acadia is about 45 min away, but a beautiful drive! The cabin was perfect to get away from crowds and have lots of peace and quiet. The host was very helpful with all of our needs and making us feel welcome.

We were completely satisfied with the house! Dan and Tammy have done a great job creating a "tiny" getaway. The house is well constructed and decorated. We did a load of laundry were happy to go home with all clean clothes! We would definitely consider staying again if we return to the area!

Welcome to our Tiny Home Peaceful Getaway - our personal slice of peace that we’re so excited to share with you.

Back in 2022, we fell in love with this property as our second home—a quiet haven tucked away from the bustle, where the mornings are filled with birdsong and deer wandering through the property and the evenings fade into golden light. What began as a future retirement plan quickly became an irresistible call to live here now.

We wanted to soak in every serene sunrise and star-filled night, and we realized it was too special not to share. So we added a tiny home on the property, imagining weekends full of laughter and stories with our closest friends and family. Before long, it felt only natural to open our doors even wider - and that’s how this short-term rental was born.

Every detail here - the breakfast bar for eating, working or just enjoying the beauty you see while looking out the window, the shed with the outdoor bar for drinking your morning coffee or the game room inside the shed filled with games, books or other items to enhance your stay, the deck where you can enjoy all that nature provides - reflects what we love most about this place. Our hope is that as you stay here, you’ll feel the same calm that captivated us, and you’ll create your own stories: morning coffees on the deck, quiet hikes through the woods, starlit chats around the fire pit.

We chose this area for the tranquility. It is far from the noise of city life. It is perfect for slowing down and recharging. Though it feels wonderfully remote, charming shops, local farmers’ markets, and scenic overlooks are just a short drive away.

Every element drew us in, and today it’s our greatest joy to share this sanctuary with you. We hope you find here the same sense of calm and wonder that captured our hearts.
