Courtside 43 - Forest Beach 1st Floor Flat

Courtside is an ocean-oriented complex with first-floor apartments, two-story and three-story townhouses. Courtside 43 is a ground floor apartment with no steps to navigate. Courtside is 1.5 blocks from the beach and next door to Van der Meer Tennis Center. A special membership with Van der Meer provides Courtside guests with tennis privileges up to one hour per day per condo. This community has two on-site pools, a lagoon with fountain, and parking at the front door of each property. Courtside is within 3 blocks of Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market and Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Three flat screen TVs. King in master bedroom, queen and twin in bedroom 2.

Very outdated condo

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location at court side is great. This condo is below par as very outdated. The master bath had a constant drip/ leak, the spout is so old you’re not able to switch from shower to tub as the plunger is so old and crusted it will not move. The tub itself needs replaced as it is stained and not in great shape. The other bathroom is a little better but not by much. I would recommend finding another condo at Courtside.

We appreciate the location (<5 min walk to the nearby beach and ~10-min walk to the hallmark Coligny Beach) and 1st floor flat (convenience for loading/unloading and aged grandparents).

Great place

This rental was the ideal place for me and my kids. We had a blast. The location was easily accessible to the beach, Coligny, and other places of interest. There is a beach trolley that picked us up at the entrance of the property. They delivered us to the beach, to Coligny, even to Publix if we wanted. We went to the beach several days. We also had some Pool only days. Plenty of seating, clean area and restrooms all only within a short walking distance. The first floor entrance was perfect for me with bad knees. Our view out the back door was of tennis courts. It was just a great place to stay. Great accommodations, clean, and fully stocked kitchen for our dining needs. Thank you for allowing us to rent this unit. We hope to be back around the same time next summer.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Close proximity to the beach and shops. The condo was clean and spacious. We enjoyed using the pools and tennis courts.

Perfect location

We spent a week golfing on Hilton Head Island, hanging on the beach, and enjoying yummy restaurants in the area. This property was conveniently situated, private, quiet, and an easy walk to the beach. We'll be back

1st floor unit

The unit was very comfortable and well suited to our needs. Close to both pools and a short walk to the beach. We had a couple of minor issues which were quickly taken care of by the staff. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this property last minute and felt it was priced fairly. The property is a bit outdated, but sufficient. The main complaint is the property wasn't as clean as we hoped. We found dirty underwear under the sink, stuffed animals behind the bed and the bathroom tile looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. For the price, it served its purpose. Courtside seems to be an older complex and really needs pool upkeep. The chairs were broken and old and the pool area was always dirty.

Lovely place.

Location was just a little too far from beach because our group consisted of women 70 plus in age. It would be ideal for younger group of friends or family to walk half mile to the beach. The place was lovely, one of the nicest we have stayed at in Hilton Head.. Communication between rental company was great. Thank you so much!

Family vacation

My elderly parents stayed at this property so that they could come to Hilton head and be closer to their grandkids who were staying at a Marriott property across the street. Overall, the place was nice. It was spacious, and close to Coligny and amenities. The kitchen is not as well-stocked as we hoped and there’s very little overhead lighting so the place feels a little dark but overall it was a pleasant experience for everyone.

Great space & location

A nice & open space for our family of 6. We didn't feel cramped at all. Loved being able to walk to the beach, stores, & the park! It took about 15-20 minutes to get there, but it was very doable.

Fun time in Hilton Head

My family of 6 really loved the access to the pools and the ocean from our condo. It was a great fit except we expected a pull out bed in the living room and didn't find one.

RELAXING

The trip was great. The amount of room in the place we stayed was very nice. The beds were comfortable. I did notice a couple of small details that someone may want to know. The front door was difficult to open. The back porch did not have anywhere to sit. There was a settee, but it was broken. The sliding glass door in the the master bedroom does not open. A broom is needed if possible.

Hilton Head, A home to come back to!

Our family has decided that Hilton Head is our place for vacation. We are starting to narrow in on which side of the island we want to return to. Courtside was wonderfully located in a quaint area just off the beach yet close to place we needed to get to. The apartment was great. Lots of touches of home, and the opportunity to place tennis right outside your back door was wonderful. Really enjoyed it.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice and clean property we rented for 7 nights. The location was great, close to the beach and shops/restaurants. But there are few things the property management needs to fix immediately - mold in both bathrooms around bathtub, numerous cracks in the wall and ceiling, water was standing all the time in one of the bathrooms, bad mattresses (needs to be replaced). Furniture is old and should be updated as well. Sorry, but can't recommend it to a friend.

Spacious but dated

The staff and check in/ out process was a breeze. The condo was very spacious and had plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 children. The appliances could be updated. The televisions are small but allowed for easy setup of our firestick. The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest but whenever we had an issue (small nothing major) maintenance was there and took care of the problem quickly.
