Penthouse Suite in the heart Sylvan Beach Resort

Located in the heart of the beautiful fun filled resort village of Sylvan Beach, this 4 bed 2 bath third floor suite overlooks the lake and village. The owners working with an architect, building engineer, general contractor and renown decorator restored this historical building, which was originally a Post Office in circa 1870. They renovated the old third floor boarding house in 2017 to create a luxury apartment in the sky. Sleeps 6+ adults/children. Walk to beach, restaurants, and the famous Amusement Park.

It’s a beach atmosphere here and the flooring, colors, furnishings and decoctions reflect the beachy theme as you can see from the pictures. The panoramic views from this tallest building in the resort are spectacular. The view includes Oneida Lake in the front, Erie Canal in the back and village restaurants and entertainment to either side. A renown local decorator, Rosanne Smith, worked with the owners to detail the apartment furnishing and finishing. There are double beds in two bedrooms and Queen Size beds in the two master bedroom suites. One master bedroom suite has its own bathroom, featuring a dramatic ceramic tiled shower area. The second full bathroom is large and has nice view of the canal.

This luxury apartment/condo is housed in an historic building with Greek columns making it an iconic center for the resort. The bottom floor is the home of the famous newly renovated Pancake House restaurant.

The penthouse condo kitchen includes granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a new clothes washer/dryer. The huge covered porch overlooking the village and Oneida Lake includes luxurious outdoor furnishing for dining and relaxing. The sunsets over the lake and the sunset view from the penthouse is breathtaking. This amazing view from the historic, tallest beach building buttressed with the Greek columns includes direct oversight of the popular “What’s the Scoop” Ice Cream Shop!

If you need additional space or want to scale down there is also a two-bedroom condo on the second floor. This condo is also fully renovated and has a huge covered furnished porch overlooking the resort and lake.
