Escape to tranquility and enjoy breathtaking views of the lake at THE PERCH - our spacious four-season vacation rental! Situated directly on the shores of pristine Long Lake, a 254-acre full-recreation lake located in Waushara County: The Perch offers a peaceful retreat with year-round activities for group and family gatherings.

As soon as you step inside, you will be welcomed by spacious living areas, complete with comfortable furnishings and an inviting atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living/dining area provide breathtaking views of the lake and its surroundings, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay, and the roomy dining area offers plenty of seating to eat together.

Step outside onto the expansive deck with two outdoor grills (one has direct gas line) and take in the stunning views of the lake as you savor your morning coffee or evening meal. Right in front of the deck is an amazing lake front beach where you can relax and unwind while the kids play on the beach or swim in the shallow crystal-clear water. In the evenings, gather around the firepit and roast marshmallows while enjoying the sounds of nature.

The Perch is an ideal place to relax, recharge, and reconnect. Ideal for families or group gatherings: The Perch features 5 bedrooms, 1 loft space, 4 bathrooms, and 4 separate living rooms. The sleeping arrangements are flexible and comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.

In the summer, spend your days swimming, kayaking, fishing, or simply relaxing on the sandy beach, taking in the serene views. A pontoon boat is available for rent. In winter, you can enjoy the best downhill skiing and tubing in the area at nearby Nordic Mountain. You can also go ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or take advantage of snow mobile trails.

The house has everything you need, with good access and communication. The best thing about it is the access to the lake - flat and easy to get in, with a swim platform, and a great deck and view overlooking the lake. We certainly enjoyed our time here!

Great set up for families with kids with sandy, gradual entry for young kids with lily pad attached to small pier. Semi- separate units worked really well for the young families having some privacy. Would return for sure. Owner was great

Beautiful Lake Property

We had an amazing weekend stay here. The lake is gorgeous, crystal clear water, they have a raft and aqua mat to use, along with paddleboards and kayaks. The house was just as nice, beautiful views, great accommodations for large groups. I love that they have two dining room tables because it was enough to seat everyone and play cards and games. Very smooth check in process. Couldn't be happier with our stay here.

Our extended family of 23 which included 14 kids ages 1-17 had a great stay. The lake was beautiful and the walk in sand area made it ideal for swimming and kids to play in. Having the ability to rent the boat was a major win. The house offered plenty of space that we could all hang out but also our own space. Nick was very responsive and provided all the details we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend and will likely visit again!

a really great place !

we loved our stay at The Perch. We had young children and the sandy beach was perfect and so nice for them. The lake is also beautiful with crystal clear water. The Perch has everything you need for cooking, sleeping comfortable, and spending quality time outside. We will definitely be back as we made countless memories and had the best time.

Perfect place for our group of gals

We get together almost every year somewhere for a couple of days. Now that we're all reitired weekdays in fall work well. This was everyone's favorite and all want to return!

Facility was clean and for the most part in good repair. Could have had more hangers. A little confusing on where the propery lines were. Air conditioning was really great due to the hot weather and humidity. The large tow behind was wonderful. A little tricky in keeping sand out of the buildings. Gas grill was plenty large and worked great. WIFI access and number of TV's was wonderful. It had most of everything we needed.

The house is very large with plenty of space for a large group. The beachfront is nice and a nice place to swim. The large deck was a great gathering place. The house was not as modern as the pictures make it seem. There were a lot of little broken things within the house and the house needs some major roof repairs etc. For our purposes of a women's weekend of friends, it worked fine. Just know you're not getting a luxurious newer modern home.

17 of us stayed at this property. everything about it was perfect for our group size. there was plenty of places for everyone to sleep comfortably and there was room for more if we would have needed it. the back deck and lake area is beautiful. kitchen was very well equipped with anything we needed and the plumbed in gas grill was perfect. id highly recommend this property for anyone with a large group of people. The host was also very responsive for any of my questions/concerns leading up to our arrival.

A memorable family weekend!!!

What a wonderful place to relax and be rejuvenated by a clean comfortable stay and an experience of a slower pace to enjoy crystal clear waters, fish galore, and good company! These gracious hosts had many options for us to interact with each other and the lake. A well stocked kitchen, lakeview dining, big tvs, family games, floating on water crafts of our choice, sunning on the beach, taking refreshing dips, wildlife viewing from spacious decks, and campfires with s'mores to end our evenings. Our only regret was not renting the pontoon for our stay but we are already making plans to return to The Perch again!

Family Time

Our stay at THE PERCH on Long Lake was an absolute dream! The spacious lake house was comfortable and inviting for the large group we had. There was more than enough room for us all to relax comfortably and reconnect. The kitchen was fully equipped for us to make our varied meals from gourmet to casual while enjoying the picturesque lake views. The expansive deck overlooking the lake was a favorite spot for all of us. We cannot wait to return to this four-season lake house that was a perfect blend of comfort, luxury and natural beauty!

Good place in Waushara county

The property was clean and well maintained. We are a group with kids and adults and the property perfectly suited, next to lake front with a beach. View was stunning. The property had ample beds, bathrooms and TVs for everyone to be entertained. Only challenge was WiFi on one end of the property was not seamless but the network around hallway and kitchen were good. Host was very responsive and good to respond in case of any queries. If you are looking for a place to spend on lake front with peaceful and laid back surroundings in Waushara county this is a best place.

Incredible spot!

Great spot! Accomodated 23 people without any issues and everyone felt like they had a good place to rest. Appliances worked great, and the bar area was so fun! The deck out back is amazing, and the views were spectacular. It was also spacious enough for all of us to spend time out there together. The kayaks were a big plus too! The only thing I would change is the ladybug situation, there were MANY ladybugs sneaking their way inside any chance they got. Perhaps a ladybug trap would help with this. Some of the main room chairs are also a bit rickety. But those are small complaints to an otherwise great spot and great weekend! Definitely would love to come back.
