Incredible views and a very comfortable home! We loved the constantly changing vistas and the magical stars at night! We had a relaxing, fun time here. Don't worry the road in - take it slow and you'll be fine. Looking forward to booking here again soon.

We absolutely loved the house & location! Mostly everything we could need while there we found somewhere in the house, there was plenty of downed trees for firewood, a wheel barrow would have been helpful but we put the kids to work! The view was stunning! Our stay was made even better after we discovered Caler cove lobster company not far from the house(approx. 10 minutes) Bub mans the wharf-he was amazing with the freshest lobster & crab around!! Definitely check them out!

Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way! The cottage was immaculately clean and all amenities were generously provided. It is a beautiful, peaceful place to vacation!

We had a nice relaxing stay! Weather was amazing with lots of nice views of the ocean. Seals came every day just off the coast and lost of bird activity. Would stay here again!

Spectacular up close nature is often hard to find without significant exertion. Fortunately places like this exist. I’ve rented all over the coast from Bar Harbor to Lubec & this is definitely my favorite location. You have a commanding view of, well, everything. The tides, eagles, ducks, seals, great blue heron, groups of snacking plovers on the rocks. It was almost unbelievably peaceful & quiet. There is one house very close but no one was there during our stay. Primarily the view is nature but you can see Jonesport which may be comforting to some in that it shows some modicum of civilization is available, if desired. The house is designed around the views & is very comfortable & uncluttered. I loved the booth which became my indoor spot editing the too many photos I took. I never went upstairs so can’t comment. I was too busy enjoying the outdoors. The host was an excellent communicator & everything went smoothly from start to finish. All the instructions were perfectly clear & available which is always appreciated. Perfect week. Outstanding rental.

We were absolutely amazed with the views from this waterfront Maine VRBO. We had everything we needed and more for a relaxing week watching the sun rise and moon rise on the water, as well as the local harbor seals, loons, dolphins and lobster boats on the water. It was peaceful, clean, easy in/easy out and a great location to then go experience Down east Maine!

Beautiful view! The neighbor was very nice - she brought us a delicious home-baked goodie. The only surprise was how badly the road into the property was rutted. It was challenging to navigate even in a high-clearance vehicle. I would not recommend a sedan or small car.

A lovely house in a stunningly gorgeous location. Waves crashing on the rocks close to the deck and a gazillion stars at night. Very very remote but our only neighbor in site brought over muffins. Jessica is a terrific, helpful host and the house has everything you need for a Maine stay. Great hiking, but be prepared to drive a bit to get to trails.
