Due to palmetto bugs/ roaches seen in kitchen and living room multiple times in the daylight we could not actually sleep in the house. No safety entry railing into home for senior citizens. Broken slider door handles out to porch.Property needs a landscaper to clean up trees, old building supplies ect.

Would recommend that hosts avoid this guest. Regarding the palmetto bug, we live in a wooded, lakeside area where an occasional insect can unfortunately make its way inside, despite regular cleaning and preventative measures. We certainly don’t consider the sighting of one insect to be an indication of an unclean property. This is not the city. The carport is a private, off-limits area and is not part of the guest accommodations. The building materials stored there were in that restricted area and did not interfere with the areas provided for your use. The fallen tree limb was the result of a storm during your stay and was completely outside of our control. We were also disappointed to find that the door handle had been broken during your stay. We expect guests to treat the property and its fixtures with reasonable care, and damage to the property is not something we overlook. While we’re always willing to address legitimate concerns, we also need to ensure that our property is a good fit for the guests we host. Based on the overall experience, we have decided that we will not be able to accommodate any future stays from you at our property.

Relaxing

Nicole thought of everything, all we needed was our personal items. Its very quiet and beautiful. I would definitely stay at this beautiful place again and recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

This house was perfect for our stay. This was a weekend with friends and family and the location was perfect. The main house is gorgeous and well appointed. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for those that love to cook, with knives, Tupperware, cutting boards, etc. The home was stocked with towels and everything needed during our stay. The guest house was perfect for those of us that needed a little extra separation with our pups and our son. The outdoor space was our favorite area, and we utilized both the Blackstone and the grill, eating all our meals in the gorgeous outdoor space. The dock allowed us to bring our boat and jet ski and enjoy the space at the water for a low-key floating day. The night lights on the dock made it easy to take a late-night boat ride and still get back and safely docked.

Lake Greenwood Lodge was the perfect home base for our multigenerational family vacation. We had five adults, two school-aged kids, our dog, and one adult staying in the guest house, and everyone had plenty of space.Nicole was an exceptional host—responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful from booking through checkout. The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well equipped. The oversized sectional was perfect for movie nights, and the large dining table became the heart of our stay, hosting family dinners and plenty of game nights. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dog-friendly touches were much appreciated. The lake-view office was also a great bonus for catching up on a few work emails.The lake amenities really make this property shine. The storage area is stocked with life jackets, fishing gear, paddles, floats, and more. We enjoyed the kayaks, brought our own fishing boat, and rented a pontoon. The dock easily accommodated both boats, and we spent countless hours fishing and relaxing on the water.As expected at a lake house, we brushed away a few spiderwebs and leftover mayflies from the outdoor furniture before using it. The only consideration for larger groups is that the main house has one shower, though the guest house made that easy to manage.Beautiful views, a peaceful setting, and thoughtful amenities made this a memorable stay. We’d happily return and highly recommend Lake Greenwood Lodge.

We really more than enjoyed our stay at this beautifully remodeled property while spending time with our son and family as we got him settled into his dorm room for football training & his first year at Presbyterian College. This home is super cozy, the beds were very comfortable, & it has everything needed & so much more for a perfect family stay! We throughly enjoyed cooking in the top notch kitchen, the three ducks that visited us everyday, & watching the gorgeous sunsets out by the water in the evening. The neighbors were very friendly as well & even gave or kiddos corn to feed to the ducks! Highly recommend staying here! Thanks for letting us make unforgettable memories here with our family!
