Great Vacation

We had a great vacation! The condo was wonderful! The kids loved the bunks in the hall way. The view was awesome! We will be staying here again!

Perfect spring break get away

This condo was perfect in every way! The beach was right off of the pool area. Kids loved the indoor/ outdoor pool. Unit was clean and had a great view. I highly recommend this unit!

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed here for a long "girls" weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with the accommodations and location. The condo was the perfect size and was very well equipped with everything we needed to have a great experience. The absolutely beautiful view from the balcony was an exceptional bonus. We loved that this condo is in a less congested area of Orange Beach and allows for a more pleasant visit. Will most definitely visit again!!

Comfortable unit. We Loved having the extra bathroom. Mattress on Sleeper sofa was Terrible. Had a great time at Tradewinds for a long weekend!

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean. The couch needs replaced. I mean it works fine but you could hear the springs everytime someone Sat down. The view was excellent! The beds were comfortable, which is a big plus since I've had 2 back surgeries. Thanks for sharing your condo with us!

Rooms smaller than expected

Booked at last minute. Place was smaller than expected. Bathrooms very small minimal counter space Nice place just use to something bigger Condo itself difficult to maneuver to elevators Overall had a good experience.

Great location, clean condo

Clean condo, great location. Check in/out needs to be revised. Having to go 15 mins down the road to get the key and to take the key back after is ridiculous in 2022. An update to keyless entry would make a huge difference. Check out procedures are confusing. Three different procedures in three different places. All in all it was a great experience and a great place to stay.

Surprised

When we arrived at our unit and opened the door, we smelled cigarette smoke. This was supposed to be a non-smoking unit. I immediately called Brett Robinson and they relocated us to a larger unit in another condo building, and did not charge us the difference. We were disappointed to have to relocate, which meant reloading the car, but the transfer was more than satisfactory. Bret Robinson staff was very apologetic and accommodating.

Nasty

This unit was disgusting when we arrived. When we opened the door, the smell of old cigarettes and stale ashtrays hit us. I will say Brett Robinson was great. They sent someone immediately. We weren’t getting charged with the smoking fee in a non-smoking condo. The bathroom floors were not clean. Not sure if y’all have a new cleaning service, or what the problem is. But we will not return.

Return to orange beach

Condo was small but roomy enough for one person or two. Screen on the porch would not close all the way which was inconvenient. Great view! Water pressure in shower not very good I am a short person and couldn’t reach the items on the top shelves.could have used a step stool so I could reach Poor communication with the rental company.they did not give out an alternative address if you weren’t going to make it by 5 to check in.and no one answered the phone at the check in address.fortunately there was a man in the parking lot who gave me the alternate address.

Trade Winds 203

Nice property stayed at Tradewinds before but a different condo. This condo was nice but really shocked that I had to pick up and drop off a physical key at a location 10 miles away? I haven't had to use a key for a vacation rental in years. On the second night the key failed to work and we were stuck outside our condo for over an hour waiting on maintenance to come let us in. Then the next morning maintenance woke us up to replace the lock. All of that because it didn't have a digital key pad like EVERY other door at Tradewinds. I don't get it?

When we walked in the door we noticed a musty smell, sorta like an old basement smell. My wife did find mold & made some pictures of it. She has COPD & had breathing issues during our stay.The TV in the living room did not work & the AC did not work. When we complained they told us to call the cable co. & a Maintenace person would come & check it. We were also told that they would try to find us another unit. No one showed up, or calledWe had to open the sliding glass door & window to get fresh air & cool the unit.The sheets on the the bedroom had blood on them. I guess they were not washed.If i were the owner & they haven't been there in awhile, I suggest you check it out. Just letting you know that the house keeping, maintenance of your unit is poor.Other than these issues, it was a great location & the view was awesome.

Quick get away

My husband and I just wanted a quick get away to go relax and rest we just needed a 1 bedroom condo and this was perfect for us . It was clean and roomy perfect for us . This was an excellent experience from the time we got there until we left to come home . Thank you VRBO

Great Location

We recently stayed at Tradewinds, the location of the property was perfect! Great view of the beach, with easy access to the beach as well. Pool was nice and clean. Communication with the property management prior to travel was horrible, I messaged multiple times through VRBO with no response. Closer to my travel date I got an email from the actual property management company with some random visit details, when contacting them via their email address, I finally got a response. I feel like if that's their preferred means of communication, they should send out an email right after you reserve the property. The check in process was not convenient, you have to check in at an office about 15 minutes away from the rental. You can check in at the time specified, but there's no guarantee that the rental will be ready for you to enter at that time. The limited paper supplies they provide was odd to me, but perhaps that's because when I've rented VRBO's in the past they provided all the necessary items along with extra's. It would be nice if the rental included beach chairs and an umbrella, but you are able to rent these on the beach each day. The beds in this rental were not comfortable. The AC was to be left set at like 73 (can't remember the exact #), however, when we arrived it was set to that temp and the unit was extremely hot. We lowered the temp to make it more comfortable and just set it back prior to check out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to go back to the area. Would consider staying at the location again, maybe we would be less frustrated with things now that we know what to expect.

Nothing like relaxing on the beach!

Second year at Tradewinds. We loved it again. Had trouble with the internet but who needs internet when you are lodged on the beach!

Great location, Average amenities

The check in process could be made easier either by using a code keypad for the door or using the Brett/ Robison office down the street from Tradewinds not the one located on Gulf Shores Prkwy. They give you two keys, if you lose them it’s $50 a piece, (note: the door locks as it shuts... so if you lock the keys inside, good luck) Not something the ruins your stay though. The unit was quaint. We don’t spend much time indoors so that doesn’t matter much to us. We had all we needed to stay in comfort. The view is awesome. You’re right above the pool and looking out into the ocean. It makes it so nice to be able to make a sandwhich and head for the beach. We really enjoyed this area with our 3 young kiddos. Just a heads up, you pay $35 a day on the beach this unit is in front of, if you want to use the beaches umbrellas and chairs. You may bring your own. Over all tradewinds 203 is legit.

Beautiful view, less than average condo

This unit needs updating and maintenance. The outlets are loose. My blow dryer outlet prongs kept falling out. The ceiling fan in the bedroom needs a new pull cord for the light. If you rent this condo, please be aware that the bedroom window faces the elevator. It can be a bit noisy.
