Lovely Serenity on Parkhill

No Pets Allowed. Whether you are planning a couples getaway or a family vacation, this is a wonderful home for you to enjoy. 180 degree ocean and coastline views surround this 3 bd;2 bath home. A BBQ is on the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Shoot a game of pool or watch movies, sports or TV on the flat screen. There is an additional flat screen TV downstairs for movies or gaming. Use the telescope to explore Hearst Castle, the beach and ocean. You may even spot some migrating whales! Shamel Park (with swimming pool and childrens play area) and the ocean are a short walk down the street. Bring your laptop and use the free WiFi. There is a small office work area with laser printer for anyone needing to work while on vacation. A washer and dryer are also available for your use. This house was voted "BEST HOUSE IN our kids! We love spending time in Cambria with our families and hope you will enjoy it too. Sorry, no pets. Sleeps six people. TOT#0000960

Great value on a beach house!

House is a bit dated, especially the carpet, but it's well appointed, and the location is incredible! 5 minute walk to Main Street and to Moonstone Beach, but so nice and quiet. It was well worth the half hour drive to SLO for graduation weekend. . a great value.

Locale is great, with a short walk to Shamel Park, the beach, Fiscalini Ranch, and Main Street. The kids loved the pool table, and the view of the sunset was second to none.

Vacation

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this property, and loved every minute of it. The view, location and beach access are great. This house and location has a special meaning for us and yes we would stay here again.

Pictures are not Accurate. Green lawn is really tall dead weeks. Enter to stained dirty carpet. Shredded bed linens and Goodwill furniture. No updates since 70's.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time at this home. We have been coming to Cambria since the 70’s. This home is perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of space to hang together or to be on your own. One thing this home would benefit from is an on demand hot water heater in the upstairs bathroom. Feels like to too forever (probably hundreds of gallons) just to get the water lukewarm for a shower. We all ended up showering in the downstairs bathroom. Aside from that my grand son left his favorite stuffed kitty and they mailed it to us immediately. Bravo!

Great Family Location

It has a great view of the ocean, very close to the park for the kiddos, but far enough away where you have quietness. The pool table is great for the kiddos and we love that the upstairs is open so everyone can enjoy. We did have an ant problem both times we have stayed there but other then that little problem everything was great. Checking in and out was so easy less then a couple mins. There are 2 rooms down stairs which allows the people that want to go to bed earlier an opportunity to get away from all the noise. This location is very close to Moonstone Dr where you can go to the grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, or misc. shopping.

Great family house

Pool table was fun and there are some games for kids in cabinet. Some of the furniture is pretty dated and the master bed could use an upgrade. All in all this is a really good house we will use again.

I would upgrade the place a little, but all enjoyed our trip. Property mgr should know what is in each of their rentals (ie beach chairs and beach towels to borrow, etc). Place was pretty dusty and dirty inside. Cleaners could have done a better job or property mgrs should inspect it to ensure proper cleaning.

The view was perfect and the Pooltable was lots of fun. The home was a little tired. From Cobwebs at the front door to a very damp smell when you first walked in. But when you went upstairs to the kitchen and living room, that was great.

Location was very nice. House was clean and nicely prepared. I had a lot of problems with living room tv. It seemed like tv had HDMI ports had problems, when connecting my tablet so We could watch my Amazon prime or Netflix the slightest movement such as plugging in electric would cause loss of signal, then later would work again? I called office received no help. Was told maybe tv was to old to plug tablet into, but yet it had HDMI ports? Printed instructions did not help, just cause more problems.

Great Place But Annoying DIY Neighbor

There's really nothing wrong with the property, but we have stayed at this place two times, and the neighbor directly to the west pretty much does construction on his property every day and on weekends too. If you like to wake up at 7 AM to the sound of a circular saw or hammering, then this is the place for you.

Comfortable, quiet, and great location.

We really enjoyed staying at this home. While it does not have the most up-to-date amenities (the carpet is old but clean), the 2nd story space is incredible and comfortable. You can really relax with the terrific view and quiet neighborhood. Close to all beaches anb 5 minute drive to center of Cambria. And I personely loved having a full-size pool table! I highly recommend it.

Perfect for Families

First of all, the location is amazing. One minute walk to Shamel Park. 5 minute walk to Main Street Grill. Just a little farther for Cambria Roasting House. This house doesn't have many frills or luxury items, but for the price it was fine. The only things that could be improved are the Dish satellite is not HD (we didn't watch TV though because we were out so much) and the appliances could use an upgrade (dishwasher, fridge, and stove). Washer and dryer were new. Place was very clean, and the upstairs area is very roomy even with the pool table. The view was amazing too.
