Spectacular Oasis

We really loved this property! We spent the whole week outside taking in the spectacular views of Long Island Sound, admiring the gorgeous garden, and lounging in the amazing pool area. The house was perfect for us - it had everything we needed for a multigenerational family group of 5. The house itself was beautiful - there was so much light inside, and rooms had wonderful views. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. We had no trouble finding the right tools to make our meals, or to have fun. We spent every single day in the pool, and most of the time we found we didn't need to heat the pool as the sun provided enough warmth for us. The pool area is so special with the fabulous gazebo. We felt like we were in our own private resort! The surrounding area is lovely, but very rural. That being said, we had no trouble finding places to eat. Jonathan was a great host, and extremely responsive to our needs. We sincerely thank him for sharing his beautiful home with us! We would definitely recommend this property, and would love to stay again! It was really hard to leave..

We really enjoyed our time in Baiting Hollow. The House was great and the views were Beautiful

Jonathan was great and very helpful, the house was nice and the views of the sound were beautiful from the deck. It was great to walk on the beach every day. We had a fantastic time.

Quiet Vacation

Property is beautiful. Johnathan is very pleasant and responded quickly with area information. Definitely an opportunity for laid back relaxing vacation.

Amazing property

The photos don’t do this place justice! It overlooks the water/beach and is very peaceful and calming. The sunsets / sunrises are stunning. The pool/hot tub and backyard are immaculately maintained — truly an outdoor paradise. Several bedrooms have a view of the water too. It’s only a few minute walk from a secluded beach. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to getaway, look no further. Just an absolutely incredible property!

Breath of fresh air

We absolutely loved our time here! It was a breath of fresh air for our family. This home far exceeded our expectations. I do not think the pictures could grasp how amazing this house really is. We loved the pool and hot tub. Played in beautiful yard. Enjoyed meals on the patio. And we could not take our eyes off the view. Jonathan was also an incredible host. He went above and beyond to ensure our family had a wonderful stay. So grateful for his hospitality. Our family will be back for sure.

Very pleasant seclusion

Jonathan was a great host, and his property was well-appointed. The exterior is magnificent and private, with a yard for the children to run around and play, and a very comfortable pool and spa to enjoy. The gazebos in the backyard were wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the overlook of the Long Island Sound. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and the location was close enough to access stores and restaurants while also being removed enough to give us the quiet solitude we were looking to experience. The inside was very comfortable, and provided us with more than ample space and amenities for my travel group.

Too Good to tell you about

I really don't want to tell you about this home.....at least not until we can make our reservations for next year! It is fabulous. The location is away from everywhere (in a good way) and yet just around the corner from some very fine dining. The deck is like being at the bow of a cruise ship. You have the most commanding view of Long Island Sound from 100 feet up from the beach - high in the air. The property has no direct beach accesss....but trust me, you'll never leave the comfort of this home anyway. The decorating in this marvelous home is just perfect. It has the complete feel of Summer. Warm days and cool nights with breezes coming off the Sound all the time. Now that I've told you about this home, do us both a favor and don't tell anyone else - especially not your relatives. They'll all want to come and stay for your whole vacation!

thisis a beautiful huge house with a view.

House NOT on the beach. We had small children. In fact, down the road and around the corner ta the end of the road was a pile of rocks. If this was tidal, it was always the fact. We were surprised to have to pay $60 extra for gas to heat the hot tub. This is an expensive property and we were also surprised to have to wait 2+ weeks for return of security deposit (because there was no inspection). Owner said we could stay through the Sunday afternoon but cleaning crew showed up. finally, the house is not well equipped--not enough dishes, all plastic, for that number of people, or decent (no need for high end) cooking equipment). That said, it is a beautiful house and the pool is lovely.

A relaxing week with Family

The home is beautiful and spacious. The views are picturesque and the pool and yard give you options outside of the beach. The home is close to everything, restaurants, shopping.etc. If you want to relax in comfort, this is the place.

The pictures don't do this property justice, it is so much more beautiful with everything in bloom. Thank you to Jonathan for being so attentive and helpful. My wife said it was like being at our own private resort. There is a constant breeze from the sound, it's so quiet and relaxing sitting on the deck overlooking the water. The pool is awesome, my 17 year old son and I spent hours in it. Hope to be back for another vacation.
