Overall this was a nice enough place to stay. We were unsatisfied with the miscommunication before booking and the detail spots of uncleanliness we saw upon check in.The apartment was spacious, as it was just the 2 of us. Ample room to relax, although the bed was a little uncomfortable after sleeping on it several nights.The main reason we chose this property was for the pool. We asked if the pool was open *before* booking, and we were told "yes the pool is open". Then after arriving and noticing the pool only became more green during our stay, we contacted the host and were told the pool was closed indefinitely.(We did get a small refund for this, but we would have rather know before booking as it was not worth it, in my opinion)While overall the property was clean, we did notice detail areas were quite grimy and had not been cleaned in a long time. Such as the rim of the washer, the baseboard areas, and the air filter near the bathroom/main bed. (I did let the host know about the filter and they offered to fix it during our stay)This is a duplex type of property and the wall separating the 2 sides is thin. We heard our neighbors the entire time they were staying next door. Something you may want to consider if that sort of thing bothers you.I will say that the location was great because everything we wanted to do was 15-20 mins from the property. I would just be weary of booking if you are looking to use the pool or are sensitive to noisy neighbors.
