Location, location, location, says it all. You will not find another listing this PRIVATE & QUIET on this ocean beach. No condo hallways, no strangers or neighbors you can hear. This house has a private walkway to spectacular Crescent Beach. You won't even see another person -- unless you want to. Hit the beach for a swim or a walk (you can go for miles) there are restaurants and bars within walking distance, but at the house, it's you and the ocean.

One of very few privately owned houses ON Crescent Beach for rent. It is simply the best. 80% of our guests are return renters.

If you want, jump into the car and the world of zoo's, museums, architecture and history is yours. Dozens of parks and ecological destinations within miles. Rent a bike, board, horse or a kayak to see things from another angle-- but... it's not easy to leave that deck!

Beautiful beach- tide out at noon in at 6pm- wildlife-turtles-dolphins- sharks(small ones)- minis crabs- oh and bioluminescence was on the beach after ten pm we could kick the water in the puddles and see them light up-house is gorgeous private- perfect local- easy to I95 a lot of stairs- but room to stretch out and have family time and private time! And garden like tropical landscaping-

Amazing beach house

I canā€™t say enough good things about this wonderful beach house. The house is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Beautifully decorated throughout with so much character. Ann certainly has taste. And it was immaculate. As another reviewer said, the photos in the listing do not do it justice. When we pulled into the very private driveway and saw the house for the first time, my family all said ā€œwow.ā€Kitchen is fantastic and very well stocked. Love the whole layout of the house. Our teens loved having their own bathrooms. Great views from everywhere on the top level. Beds and furniture all quite comfortable.Location is very quiet and private. Even on the 4th of July there was plenty of space on the beach. And once you are up at the house you are in your own world. Such vast views yet so private. Appreciated that Ann has a supply of beach chairs and supplies availableā€¦so convenient. Ann is a great host. Very responsive for questions, though we had no problems at all. There is a reason every review is 10/10. The only downside was having to force my family to leave at the end of the week. Canā€™t wait to come back!

The whole house is HUGE and nice with fully stocked kitchen :) it does seem a bit outdated tho A long walk to the beach from what weā€™re used to but it was last minute booking due to hurricane Helene ruining our original plans. Make sure to bring extra paper products, only half roll of t.p. and dishwashing tablets as there were only 4. I think the cleaner had to leave in a hurry per owner response. Ann, the owner was GREAT and quickly responsive to everything!

Amazing Beach House

We were fortunate this year to stay two weeks! The house is perfect. The location is perfect. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with our boys and their significant others. My husband helped out the volunteers on turtle beach patrol this year and loved every minute! We enjoyed seeing a large box turtle up by the deck. We even saw a small stingray swim along the shore . Ann is such a great host and easy to contact when needed. Until next time!!

Breathtaking!

This is not just a rental property. This is a home. It has breathtaking views of the beach from the house. However, itā€™s so private you donā€™t know anyone else is on the beach until you go down to the beach! We had an amazing time and the beach was beautiful. I have not been to the Atlantic side before this trip. We will definitely come back and stay again. Itā€™s very hard to leave this place. This home is beautiful and very well stocked, and we will definitely come back.

Cozy, Comfortable, and Beautiful

Loved our stay! Even better than the pictures. Wonderful week with our adult children. The layout in this house is so unique. It has great character and comfort. Spacious enough to give everyone room and cozy enough with lots of places to sit and visit. Great views of the ocean and we loved the beach accessibility. Appreciated the ownerā€™s suggestion of Violaā€™s for dinner. Delicious! Short walk down the beach to Safe Harbor and really enjoyed our fresh fish meals. Kitchen was set up with everything we needed for cooking as well. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful location

Wonderful location and loved its location - 1 minute walk down your private walk to the beach and short drive to downtown St Augustine (close but not too close). My adult kids, husband, and I LOVED the house / perfect layout. The owner is super nice, very attentive if you have questions. Weā€™d stay there again!

Beautiful private home

Everything was better than described. Very well stocked. Everything anyone could need. The deck is the place to be. The view and sound of the ocean is incredible. Check in and out could not be any easier. I wish I was a better writer to give the review that this place deserves. I would definitely make a return visit

This is a real beach house. We have taken great care to design a space that is romantic and comfortable a little vintage vibe. Think Nancy Meyers movies.

Love to walk the beach, shelling and fishing along the way. Good food, biking, kayaking, pickle ball and yoga close by to keep you busy.

Aside from being on an amazing beach, this house is very private and more elegant and "cushy" than most rental beach houses.

We are cooks, and this house has a good kitchen to make great meals-- especially for a number of cooks to do their thing all at once. -- finally, walk it out to the deck for a moonlit dinner!

Since the house is built into a sand dune and the views are at the top, there are a number of staircases to make all of the areas accessible. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for anyone who has trouble with steps.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

The privacy is really the thing that sets our house apart from other rentals on Crescent Beach. You are not dealing with condo renters, or even visible neighbors, this is one of a kind.

The wildlife on our little island is impressive, from the birds that fly along the beach and nest in the spring, to the dolphins and whales that you will see passing by or the turtles that nest on the beach and live in the dunes, we're living in a ecological park.
If you get tired of watching from the house, the area is full of parks and beaches. The Intracoastal waterway is just behind us and that has a completely different vibe-- rent a kayak and check it out when you get sick of surfing, fishing and shelling on the beach. Ha-ha.
Additionally, the house is large and very comfortable with lots of seating areas to provide privacy and quiet.
