Perfect accommodation

Linda is the owner, and she thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had our own entrance and a gorgeous view from the patio. We would be happy to stay there again.

Warm reception great stay

The property was clean and well-appointed. Easy to get to from the main part of town, local attractions, and restaurants. Linda was warm and inviting and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Linda’s place! She was very welcoming and helpful with area recommendations. The accommodations were newly updated and very cozy. It had all the amenities you could need and was also very close to downtown. Would highly recommend to others!

Absolutely perfect!

My daughter and I stayed in this fantastic apartment when visiting nearby family. Linda was fantastic - so welcoming and friendly! The space itself was luxurious and spotless - it was a perfect stay!

A perfect spot in the Highlands!

This was a perfect place for us to stay for a wedding we attended in the Highlands. We were there two nights and it was just what we needed. Linda is a fabulous host! She had all that we needed right there in her place. Lots of nice little touches. We plan to return there again!

Lovely little getaway

Exactly as described. Tucked away just outside of Main Street in Highlands, up a hill and hidden away. Beautiful mountain view. Not fancy but very clean and comfortable. (Not a full kitchen, but microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, sink). We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful property!

We had a wonderful time! Linda was so hospitable and communicative. The property was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing! My only complaint was the online listing says Walk to town!!” and the property is definitely too far away from town to walk so you do have to deal with parking which was not a major problem but not an accurate description of the location. That said, the location is near many nice restaurants and Main Street. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Exactly what we needed!

My wife and I had a short but wonderful stay in this beautiful mountain view studio apartment! Linda was a gracious host and made sure everything was perfect for us. She was so much fun to talk to! While it is attached to her larger home, the studio apartment has its own entrance from the outside and is very private. Note that there is no full kitchen in the apartment; it is kitchenette with a microwave. It's a very short and simple drive to the downtown area. We'd definitely stay there again!

Location, location, location!

Mountain Watch and my hostess, Linda, were exactly what I needed to recharge and relax in beautiful Highlands. This apartment is the perfect location to downtown Highlands and all of the local attractions. The king sized bed was super comfy and the fireplace made it extra cozy. There is also a fold out couch, if needed. The kitchenette was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast. Who needs to cook with all of the fabulous restaurants in town? The dressing area has the perfect amount of closet space and a dressing table to primp at. The patio of the apartment has cute Adirondack chairs to enjoy the cool air and view. I look forward to staying at Mountain Watch again and again. Thanks for your hospitality, Linda!

Wonderful and relaxing!

Great to be in Highlands again after several years. Enjoyed the many restaurants. Linda is a lovely and accommodating hostess . Very convenient location close to Main Street. Enjoyed my scenic run every day from her home and back. Her tidy and efficient studio apartment is perfect for one or two people. Hope to come back again!

No A/C and difficult

There was no A/C and we did not see it on the booking nor could we find it on the home site. Getting from the bedroom to the bathroom requires a climb up of 3 giant steps and a climb down of 3 giant steps both boing and returning to the bedroom. The room should have been much less expensive. The lady that owns it "Linda" is a very sweet lady.

Perfect accommodations!

This place was perfect for our weekend in Highlands. It is quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated with every amenity we needed. Linda is a great host -- a delight to talk to and very helpful as she knows the town so well. You can't beat the location, it's just minutes from shopping, hiking and site seeing. We would definitely stay here again!

The first time that I came to Highlands in 1982....I fell in love with this beautiful Paradise! I purchased this home in 1986 as a get-away from the Florida heat. The friendliness of the neighbors and town have made me feel right at home. I am fun, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the interesting things to do around town. I will greet you and make sure that you feel welcome and comfortable! Come and learn to love Highlands as much as I do!!!

I totally renovated the apartment to make it bright and comfortable for my guests. It is immaculately clean with all of the comforts of home. Enjoy the fireplace while watching your favorite show on the brand-new flat screen Smart TV. I could go on and on. You won't be disappointed!!

I loved the gorgeous view when I walked into the living room and saw the mountains from a wall of panoramic windows! The close access to town won me over!
