Cabin was exceptionally clean in a wonderful setting. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Host communicated early and efficiently. We would stay again.

We had the most wonderful weekend at this beautiful mountain home! The cabin was beautifully decorated and spotless. We loved sitting on the screened porch as we read and relaxed and enjoyed the quiet. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the fire pit - it was a bit breezy this trip for a fire. Amazing hosts - can’t recommend this place enough!

Lovely cottage w thoughtful touches. We had storm activity from Hurricane Isaias and received activity updates on storm progression from the owners; we were grateful for the whole house generator which did kick in one or twice during the storm. Very comfortable bed! We plan on returning!

This property is reminiscent of a Cottage right out of Southern Living. It Is truly in pristine condition with luxury decor throughout. Every home comfort has been provided, in addition to drinks, snacks and the makings for s’mores. There is a screened in back porch overlooking a fire pit, with all the accessories provided. A front porch overlooking the beautiful grounds. The Location is very private, with a hiking trail to an overlook with beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains.The cabin is located conveniently between Highlands and Cashiers with beautiful views of Lake Glenville along the drive to the cabin. Wonderful accommodations for a couple.

Ideal for a single traveler or for a romantic couple’s getaway, this elegant Art Deco property provides a very comfortable stay, with every detail considered. Selina is an excellent host, providing plenty of information and tips for your visit. (For instance, the best grocery store in the area is Ingles, and the information book provides those discount cards for your keychain.) In the cottage, details such as fresh flowers, S’more ingredients, and even an extra toothbrush are there for you. (I was especially appreciative of the provided coffee and half-and-half the morning after my late arrival.) The cottage’s location is terrific, with Cashiers nearby for shopping and restaurants. I enjoyed hiking at Gorges State Park, Whiteside Mountain, and High Falls. I cannot recommend this property enough!

The host was great, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We took the hike on the property, its extremely steep but was worth the climb. The only thing that would make this cabin better would be a hot tub and better mountain views from the cabin.

We had a lovely time staying here! The property is beautiful and was in a great location for local hiking trails and access to lake Glenville. The hike on the property was a nice addition with a wonderful view of the mountains and plenty of birdwatching. The communication with the hosts was 10/10, they were very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Our stay at this cabin is wonderful. It has everything one would ever want, the location is great, and the host is wonderful.The hiking and property is beautiful. The cabin was perfect for us nice and cozy. Just sit out on the porch and relax. Already looking forward to our return to this perfect couples getaway!

This VRBO was the best my husband and I have ever stayed in. Not only was it clean and comfortable but personal touches by the host made it feel like a home and not just some place to stay on vacation. The screened in back porch was a nice place to have a beverage and snacks and enjoy the outside. Everything you can think of was provided by the host. Even a few beverages and snacks. The host was prompt answering any question. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the 1937 cabin. The hosts provided recommendations for dinner and activities when we made our reservation. Before and after check-in, the hosts were available to answer questions and made us feel so welcome. The cabin itself was beautiful and well stocked with special amenities as well as all the essentials we needed. The refrigerator was stocked with beverages and the freezer with ice cream! Everything you needed for s’mores by the outdoor fire pit was provided. The screened in porch was a favorite spot to have breakfast and listen to nature. The privacy offered by staying in a cabin on a private estate is a very rare find making this cabin a very special place. We hope to return to this peaceful place again!

This is the only place we’ve rented twice and it won’t be our last. Everything is over the top, from the furnishings to the amenities. We absolutely love this place. The location is lovely!! Already planning our next stay!!!!

This property is one in a million! We have utilized VRBO properties multiple times over the years, but we have never encountered a place that was as well-thought-out and prepared for guests as this one. We previously owned a B & B and lodge so we can appreciate the tremendous effort that goes into creating and maintaining such a lovely place for people to stay. The only thing I couldn't find that would've been handy was a stove rest for my cooking spoon! That is simply amazing! The kitchen was unusually well provisioned, and we cooked all of our meals here during our stay. The rest of the property, including the fire pit, was ready for us. We didn't need to buy s'more ingredients, either! The owners' guest manual was excellent. We took it in our car every time we went out, it was so useful. We added a document or two, but this amenity was a very practical tool.We felt welcomed and pampered. We did not want to leave so we'll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the 1937 cabin. It's beautifully furnished and so many little extras to make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. We hope to return sometime.
