A classic beach house with an incredible view! This waterfront home provides amenities for a relaxing vacation overlooking the Indian River Bay, just a few miles to the ocean at Bethany Beach and the boardwalks in Rehoboth and Ocean City.
Whether you are looking to get away for some quiet and relaxation, fun family activities, golf getaway or if you are a fisherman at heart, this vacation home is for you. The Shore House is located at the Vines Creek Marina which can provide for all your fishing needs. As an inclusive gift for our visitors, we invite you to bring your boat/jet ski/canoe or kayak and launch at the on-site marina ramp during your stay. Feeling adventurous? The Marina staff can set you up with charter fishing trips, kayak or stand-up paddle board rentals.
The charming home features, 4 bedrooms that sleep 7 (1 queen, 2 double, 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms. A spacious living area that opens up to the sun porch facing panoramic views of the Indian River Bay. Enjoy your morning coffee taking in the view from the porch or step outside on the deck and grab a chair for a sunset experience.
Lots of activities local to keep you busy all week. We are less than a 20 minute drive to fantastic breweries & wineries, waterfront golf courses, and plenty of family friendly adventures! If you are looking for exclusivity just walk out the door down to our little 'gem' bay front beach. It's perfect for little ones!
The master bedroom has a queen bed, plenty of storage space and private bath. Wake up to full water views of the bay. Two bedrooms have double beds and the fourth room has a twin bed with room for a children's pack-n-play or collapsible crib. Every room features a flat screen TV. There is a full bath located across from the guest bedrooms. Enjoy the outside shower after a long day in the sun. Fire up the outdoor grill and have a summer feast on the deck or in the sand at the picnic table below. The salt air is calling...BOOK NOW!

We had a wonderful week at this home. It's an excellent place to stay if you're bringing a boat (like we did)...easy access to the bay for fishing and crabbing, and bait right next door at the marina store. The host was so helpful and communicative. The view of the bay from the deck is beautiful. If you're looking for a rental where you can enjoy the bay and the beach, away from the chaos, this place is it!

Our stay at the Shore House was great! We arrived late, but that was not a problem at all and we could arrange the paperwork the next morning. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable to escape the humid heat. The ladies running the marina are very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable

Very nice and plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. Quiet area and nice view. Communication with property mgmt was quick and she is very nice. ReallY appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit. The only downfall was the steps in and out of the unit which was rough if you have leg/knee issues. Overall it was nice!

Quiet little retreat

Our family really enjoyed this rental and it's location. Not too far from the beach and right on the water making early morning fishing in the canoe and paddle boarding really simple. The location is in between everything...we did Lewes, Rehoboth, the Inlet, Bethany, Ocean City and Assateague all in one week. Also got to try our hand at crabbing at nearby Holts Landing State Park. Valerie was super helpful and easy to get a hold of if needed. We'd rent again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful experience for our unique family

Our 6-person family spent a wonderful week at this property in August 2021. We have two college-aged daughters and two children under 4, including an 18-month-old boy who is into everything! We chose this house because it offered everything that we were looking for in a property including, but not limited to, 4 bedrooms, large living/play space, outside space, great views, and access to a kid-friendly beach. Valerie was also wonderful to deal with throughout the process, and was very flexible. Overall, we were very satisfied and the house delivered as listed. We highly recommend this property!

Great, peaceful vacation

The house was perfect, on the marsh with fantastic sunsets. there was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The private beach was perfect for the kids to go paddle boarding and Bethany Beach was only 10 minutes away. We had a blast!

Family summer vacation

Loved the stay. If you don't want to be within the busy and loud beach areas but still want to be within a 30 min drive to all the beaches, this is a great option. The sunsets were spectacular. Walking to the private beach to enjoy the water, to fish and crab was very relaxing. It was a great option for my large family who just wanted to relax and enjoy eachother's company. Valerie and her mom were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to spending future summer vacations and other Fall weekend getaway opportunities at this great location.

Quiet home, beautiful sunsets, wonderful owners, spacious living space, close beaches /beach towns

Our family wasn't sure where we wanted to go, just sure we wanted to try Delaware. We were so pleasantly surprised. The short drive to the beach allowed us to try different beaches and different beach towns, that we never explored when staying beachfront in the past. GREAT choice. The owners were so welcoming and there for any questions we had, even area recommendations. The house was clean, well stocked, and had so much room for our family of 10. We also rented the cottage next door for our parents and other family members who wanted a quiet space to escape to. Will absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Great view of the marsh and bay

Our family had a very relaxing stay at the Shore House. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was a good size for preparing meals as we don't eat out every evening. The deck is perfect for watching the sunsets over the bay and listening to the marsh sounds. The location was nice if you don't want to stay right in the thick of things, but close enough for easy day trips to Bethany Beach or Delaware Seashore State Park. Valerie responded very quickly and was so gracious to push back our stay a couple of days due to a family medical issue. Even though located at the edge of a neighborhood, it was very quiet and peaceful in the evenings!

Wonderful value, amazing views

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Shore House. It is spacious inside, very clean, well furnished, and has everything you need for a relaxing time. The kids had a blast at the little swimming lagoon and private beach just a quick walk from the home. We loved sitting out on the screened in porch and enjoying the stunning view and magnificent sunsets. The location is also perfect for exploring all the Delaware beaches on day trips. Valerie was great to communicate with and arrival/getting the keys was very smooth. Would highly recommend this house.

Relaxing Bay home

We booked this as a last minute stay for our family vacation before School started for the kids. We were ecstatic that we found such a cool place for such a good value. Though this was not right on the beach it is smack dab on the bay with awesome sunsets that look over the bay and marsh. Because the house is raised off ground it made the views even better. Bethany beach is only 6 miles down the road and was actually very convenient and easy to get to from the house. However if you just don't want to make the trip to the beach one day they do have a small sandy beach next to the condo that was great when you need to keep the kids occupied. They also have two swings under the condo with a pick nick bench and sand play area. Its a great place to set up your beach chair and put your feet in the sand while sipping on your morning coffee while the kids play in the sand. If you like to fish or have a boat you cannot beat this place as the marina is just outside your door step. The marina shop even serves breakfast sandwich's. We did not order anything but the food did look good. The marina store has a well equiped tackle and bait shop. There are several restaurants with in a few miles including a ice cream shop! The condo itself was comfortable, and well equipped. It is one level so its great for kids. It also has a great deck and sunroom that looks over the bay. We will certainly consider this property again.

Great placr

We just returned from a week at the Shore House. What a nice house. The views were awesome and the house comfortably accommodated 8 people. It was nice that the bedrooms were all at one end so if people wanted to sit up late to talk and play games you didn't disturb anyone who was sleeping. My son and daughter-in-law loved crabbing off the pier. The marina was well maintained and the owners were extremely helpful with anything we needed. Thanks for a great week.
