Our modern holiday house Villa Rotondo in Kaštela, town between UNESCO World Heritage Sites Split and Trogir, is a comfortable base for exploring the Split riviera, while delivering all you need for a relaxed poolside vacation too.
Villa Rotondo is comfortable and consists of three apartments which are connected by internal stairs. The comfortable living area as well as a bedroom with bathroom are on the ground floor, while four more bedrooms with two bathrooms and additional small kitchen are upstairs (200 sq.m. indoor and 80 sq.m. terace) . The house provides a comfortable stay for 10 but on sofas in the living room can accommodate 2 more people. House is fully equiped with a aircondition, satelite tv and wi-fi. Spend many pleasant hours on the terrace and in the green garden with swimming pool and barbecue. There is also a little play area for children.
The facilities that the villa has are outdoor swimming pool 45 sq.m., a little play area for children, a private parking place for 4 cars and two bikes for free. At outdoor fireplace guests can also enjoy the barbecue.
We will be available to our guests the whole time if they need.

Family celebration!

We were a family group of 5 adults and 5 children. The ground floor bedroom and adjoining bathroom was ideal for 'Granny' and the second floor was divided into two apartments which were ideal for the two families. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor living space, and the pool was excellent.

Lovely villa in Kastela

Beautiful clean home in Kastela, Croatia. Easy walk to many restaurants , loved Konoba Intrada! Short walk to the ocean and lovely to swim in. Grocery store was also less than 10 minute walk. Iris was waiting for us with large platters of prosciutto, cheese, olives , bread and great red wine made by her family! Later in the week, a large basket of tasty grapes was dropped off! Easy to use bus system #37 at the top of the street can get you easily (20 mins) to Trogir (or airport). Same bus going to Split but a little longer ride (1 hour) and one transfer to get to old town Split. While in Kastela, highly recommend www.the winecarriagesplit.com for a delightful 3 winery tour by horse and carriage followed by grilled fish at the owners home!

Traumhafter Urlaub!

Es war ein wirklich schöner Urlaub! Die Gegend ist super schön, es sind nur 200 Meter zum Meer! Auch das Haus ist toll. Es war wirklich sauber und man hat alles was man braucht. Auch der große Pool war ein Traum! Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln. 5 Sterne!!

Fabulous holiday!

Thank you Iris and Pero! We’ve had a marvellous holiday. The villa was clean and everything we could have wanted was available in this well stocked house. Pool was refreshing and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the garden area. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of storage to put clothes and cosmetics. We ate out most nights. Food here is excellent, particularly the fresh fish and salad. Restaurants and bars are only a 10 minute walk away whilst the beach and beach bar is only at the bottom of the road. Nearest supermarket is also a 10 minute walk and stocks everything you could possibly need. A beautiful country and villa, we may well be back!

Family holiday

Our family holiday to celebrate two wedding anniversaries, one birthday and a retirement. The welcome and the arrival gifts set the tone for this fantastic villa and property owner. Iris even called in one day with pastries for breakfast. It is summed up by our youngest granddaughter “ this is the best holiday ever”

Beautiful Place to Spend a Relaxing Vacation

Iris and Pero are wonderful hosts making this property a great experience. They provided transport from the airport which is just 15 minutes away. The driver Miro was available with his staff during our entire trip and they were reliable, punctual, and always pleasant which really eased our planning for excursions. Our hosts gave us homemade cookies (amazing!), a basket of goodies to welcome tired hungry travelers, and fresh grapes and figs were dropped off later in the week. They are accessible for any questions but they have a detailed list of phone numbers and instructions which made our stay much less stressful. The pool was refreshing and beach was nearby but very crowded and "pebbly". Shopping, grocery store and restaurants are close by within walking distance as is the boat to Trogir. Only difficulty was other taxi services finding our location. It is a maze of streets and somehow the address isn't on their GPS so be sure to explain that when booking tours. Croatia was a beautiful country and we saw much of the Dalmation coast - Zadar, Krya, Trogir, Split,and Hvar. The food was amazing except for our last night. We ordered Peka (a traditional dish cooked "under the bell" for many hours) which had to be preordered at a restaurant in Kastel Stari down the promenade and it was a great disappointment. The lamb and calamari were hard and chewy which means it was not a good example of traditional Croatian cooking. So find a good restaurant or skip that dish. You will love Villa Rotondo which has ample room and has two separate upstairs areas that can create individual apartments with their own refrigerator, microwave, and table. We had 8 in our family and it could easily accommodate more people. Very "child-friendly" with toys, playground, games, pool floats...so perhaps we will return in a few years with grandchildren if we are blessed with any. Enjoy!

Bra belägen villa nära stranden och restauranger. Gångasvstånd till fin strand och supermarket. Kan verkligen rekommendera och kan tänka mig att bo här igen.

Fantastisk pent, moderne, velutstyrt og delikat.

Vi er en storfamilie på 9 voksne og 2 små barn. Alle sov i deilige senger, eierne som var veldig hyggelige og imøtekommende, hadde ordnet med to barnesenger og to høye barnestoler til de minste før vi kom. Inne var det rikelig med plass, og huset var veldig godt utstyrt. Vi tippet at utleier var arkitekt, og det viste seg å stemme. Uteområdet var vakkert med sone for spise/grille, utesallong i skygge, flott bassengområde med utedusj, og tilogmed en morsom lekeplass for de minste, som var sikret mot bassengområdet. Vi opplevde alt som vel gjennomtenkt og tilrettelagt. Ikke minst var vertskapet vennlig og imøtekommende, og siden vår fly-ankomst ble så forsinket at vi ikke rakk supermarkedet før det stengte (åpent hver dag fra 07-22), hadde de på eget initiativ handlet inn deilig kveldsmat for oss. Vertskapet var aldri pågående, men helt fantastiske. Vi anbefaler villa Rotondo på det varmeste, men kun til folk som tar godt vare på det, for vi ønsker å komme tilbake senere til samme idyllen.

Perfect little family villa

Very helpful and friendly hosts. Great location near the seafront. Beautiful and clean villa with excellent facilities and great pool and outdoor seating areas. Ideal for families with children. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to go back
