After a busy day of sightseeing, you can return to “home” to this beautiful apartment that features three bedrooms and four bathrooms. All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms and feature top line mattresses, Egyptian cotton linens and sumptuous bath towels. Every bedroom has its own 32” plasma television, individually controlled air conditioning and heating system, ceiling fan or large screened windows to enjoy the “buenos aires” and the wonderful city views. The gourmet kitchen features top of the line cabinets, granite counters, a five burner gas stove and oven, large fridge with freezer, microwave/grill and a dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cutlery, glassware and all necessary tools and cooking utensils to make your stay comfortable. Lovely apartment in great neighbourhood. Walking distance to many BA sites

Three couples stayed together in this well-equipped and tastefully decorated penthouse apartment. Lovely terrace but no view to speak of. That’s a minor point as we were so close to so much in Recolets and Microcentre areas. The must-see Recoleta cemetery is literally 3 blocks away. Many excellent restaurants and museums also close by. Robert was very responsive throughout our discussions, and his rental agent Carmen was a real gem, even arranging a van for 6 to transport us all back to the airport. Would highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again if back in BA

Delightful!

My husband and I spent the month of October in this beautiful space as we did last year. We had some friends join us for the last week, and the rooms have good quiet quality and amenities. We were happy to return to the penthouse this year and it felt like returning home! The apt is spacious and comfortable. It is all on one level, and the elevator takes you from street level to the charming private vestibule outside the entry door. The grocery is just across the street! We had a parrillada (barbecue) to entertain friends in the city. We we able to grill on the parrilla for 18 people! The terrace is very private and filled with wonderful plants, sunny in the AM and has shade in the afternoon. The location of this apt. is excellent! It is in a neighborhood of good restaurants, and shops, and close to various bus lines. Close to the Recoleta cemetery and the Design Center, it is a great neighborhood to walk around enjoy the local amenities or branch out to enjoy discovering the treasures of the city.

Great experience!

My husband and I spent the month of October in Robert's excellent apartment in the heart of Ricoleta, A beautiful old neighborhood of Buenos Aires. We were previous home owners in the city and have a good sense of the city. The location is very central to taking a bus or taxi to shops, restaurants, events, and entertainment sites. We stayed in this apartment last year and felt like we were coming home this year. We are familiar with the well equipped kitchen and totally enjoyed the beautiful terrace equipped with ample tables and chairs as well as an excellent parrilla (BBQ). We know many people in the city, and hosted a dinner or two with ample accommodations. We also enjoyed watching the pair of doves who call the terrace home! We hope to return next year! Marcy Kirsch

The Perfect Recoleta Apartment

Have been renting vacation properties for more than 30 years and there is no other owner like Robert!!! He is the absolute best. Spent almost 3 weeks in this Wonderful apartment. Absolutely the perfect location in Buenos Aires. Great and comfortable space including all amenities. Loved the terrace with working Parilla and beautiful view. Perfect location to walk or taxi anywhere in the city. Robert and his apartment manager are extraordinarily helpful with dining and other recommendations.

Fantastic BA apartment

This is one of the best apartments I have ever rented! The apartment is beautiful and has the extra special feature of having a lovely patio that overlooks the city. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. It looks exactly like the pictures. The apartment sits on a high floor and has a private elevator to access. It has very nice windows and is extremely quiet. We are a family of six with one college-aged kid and three elementary school aged kids. The apartment was perfect for us – – three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The modern kitchen has everything you need to make some meals at home, and grocery shopping is convenient with a supermarket across the street. The location is perfect in a nice, safe neighborhood. It is a short walk to the cemetery and other Recoleta sites. We took longer walks to come from the port and to walk over to the sites closer to Palermo. We checked in with the owner's local manager, and she was extremely nice and had excellent communication to arrange arrival, departure, etc. Everything was great, and I could not more highly recommend a place to stay while in Buenos Aires.

Great Place

We have stayed here various times. It is our favorite place to stay with our family when we visit BA for a week to 10 days at a time. Clearly the location is ideal, at Callao and Quintana... The area is super safe. The terrace with the parrilla is perfect for entertaining various couples with dining inside and outside. Inside, the rooms are very comfortable with AC and a very nice kitchen. Lastly, the owners are terrific, accommodating in every way. You can't beat it!

Excellent apartment !

We (my husband and I) stayed in 13c for one month from September 15 until October 15, 2016. We totally enjoyed our stay! We loved the apartment, and stayed basically in one of the bedrooms, with comfortable bed, but we each had our own bathroom. The kitchen was excellent with a great stove and a wonderful refrigerator. We enjoy cooking and also an occasional parrilla. We were able to entertain 8 guests for dinners and it was very comfortable. The garbage is collected 2x each day by a Portero who keeps the service area clean and tidy. We loved the neighborhood and the convenient location for restaurants, museums, entertainment, and public transportation, as well as easy shopping. The market, Disco, is just across the street. On our first day we wanted to cook something, but needed to keep returning to Disco. It was so convenient! There are great fruit and vegetable markets along the streets. They are small groceries nearby with a good supply of items. The apartment was very comfortable with the luxury of the terrace and parrilla. Robert has left things like masking tape, string, and pens to make life a bit easier. We loved having access to the washer and dryer in the apartment. There were some cookbooks in one of the bedrooms and one had a long lost favorite recipe. I photographed it. The place has ultimate privacy, and when you peer over the wall you can see a bit of the river. This apartment was a very enjoyable place to stay! We would love to return. It's perfect!

Perfect appartment in a Great location

I stayed at the apartment with my husband and two teens for one month. My experience with Oscar was very pleasant. Carmen his property manager was amazing and extremely available to lend a hand or to fix any problems. The location is perfect. Recoleta is one of the nicest areas to stay in. Supper market, pharmacy, night club, café, news stand, all are literarily all across the street from the apartment. The building is very safe and well secure. The apartment is walking distance to many tourist locations and is close to all the main areas. Apart from the area being great, we researched a lot of properties and it was important to us to have the same comfortable amenities we had at home. In the apartment washer and dryer. all rooms with very comfortable beds and good closet space. Nice remodeled bathrooms for each room. TV in each room for the kids and fully stocked kitchen and very good heating system during the cold winter. The balcony was great even though we were there in the middle of winter. It made the unit very light and nice. It was also helpful for my smoker husband not to have to go downstairs all the time. The housekeeper was very nice too. She was sweet and did our grocery shopping and cooked when we paid her extra to help out. It was a great experience and my family thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and will absolutely go back.

Awesome experience great owner

Our granddaughter recently finished a college semester in Buenos Aires. My husband and I, and our daughter wanted to spend some time with her before she came home. We were so fortunate in finding Robert's incredible apartment on VRBO. We spent nine lovely nights there. He and Carmen, the property manger are incredible hosts. The apartment is as described and exceeded our expectations. The furnishings are beautiful, it is so spacious, the kitchen is well stocked, having a washer and dryer is a plus and the outside terrace is divine. All three bedrooms are great, so it was convenient that everyone had their own private space including bathroom. The apartment is in Recoleta, a fantastic location that is central to wherever you may want to go. The doorman is an added plus and we always felt safe. We highly reccomend talking advantage of Roberts tips on restaurants, museums etc. All his suggestions were so well thought out. Thanks Robert for making our trip such a memorable experience!

Fantastic Penthouse Apartment in the Perfect Location!

I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment for two weeks. It looks exactly like the pictures and is absolutely wonderful. Robert is a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. He even checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. Carmen, the property manager, is also a gem and made sure we were well taken care of. You have your own private elevator entrance that goes directly to the apartment, which was great. All of the rooms are spacious and the apartment was immaculate. The deck is an amazing bonus. It was unfortunate it was a little too cold to fully enjoy it. Having a washer and dryer on site was a bonus as well. There is a grocery store and pharmacy directly across the street and a cute cafe on the corner. You are steps away from a main street where you can easily catch a taxi and the shopping in the neighborhood is wonderful. You are a few short blocks from Recoleta Cemetery and the weekend craft market. Staying at that apartment made our trip so much better than staying in a hotel. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

We spent 8 wonderful days at Robert's place and found it met all our needs and more. The area is so convenient to groceries, restaurants and shopping. You feel very safe in the area. The apartment itself has all the amenities and is comfortable and nicely decorated with room to spread out. The terrace is lovely and provides more space and a way to find out how to dress for the weather. All the people we dealt with were friendly and helpful in spite of the fact that we don't speak Spanish. Cabs were always easily available for destinations beyond walking distance. We would definitely use this place again and recommend it highly to others.It is clean and well maintained. Robert is very organized and easy to deal with.

Highly Recommend

We were two couples and stayed one week. Robert's apartment is absolutely lovely and exceeded all of our expectations. Carmen met us and ensured we had everything we needed. We had plenty of closet space for our 'stuff'. The kitchen is well-appointed and everything in the unit works. We went to four of the restaurants Robert recommended and every one was wonderful. The doorman was very friendly. There is a grocery store across the road and a lovely park only two blocks away. The location was perfect for exploring this part of the city! A Gem in Recoleta!

From our first contact with Robert, he made communication and coordination easy and friendly - including a ‘Buenos Aires 101’ guide sent before arrival and accommodating a multiple arrival schedule. Robert met us at the apartment upon our arrival with Argentine pastries and a wealth of information to enhance our stay and answer any questions/concerns we might have – from where to change money to buying tango shoes to restaurant recommendations. The apartment (with doorman) was lovely - airy, light, comfortable and very clean with a wonderful terrace that we thoroughly enjoyed for morning sun or drinking Argentine wines late into the night. The kitchen is out-fitted with everything one could need. Plants on the terrace were thriving and the apartment is obviously well-maintained and well-cared for with fresh flowers throughout. Supermarket across the street, cafes and shopping near-by, a short walk to parks. Everyone was comfortable for some togetherness as well as a bit of their own space to stretch-out and work/relax. We feel fortunate that we stayed in this apartment which gave our family a wonderful home during our time in BA with the unexpected pleasure of meeting Robert and Norm who’s warmth and generosity were an added bonus.

I stayed at Robert's lovely three bedroom Recoleta apartment with 3 girlfriends for 17 nights in September, 2014. Our husbands joined us for several nights. and even with the 6 of us there we had was plenty of space. We loved everything, the location was great. We felt very safe. We walked everywhere. The restaurants and activities Robert suggested suited us perfectly. He even supplied us with a local travel agent, Mateus who was very helpful and was able to book tours, drivers and flights for us. We were lucky and the weather co-operated and we were able to enjoy the outdoor patio. I left my camera behind and with the help of Robert's wonderful housekeeper, Adriana arranged for it to be returned to me. He went above and beyond to help us with the smallest details to make our stay in Buenos Aires memorable and delightful. I know we will return in the near future and continue to explore the sights and sounds of Buenos Aires.

Fantastic place

I stayed in two of Robert's apartments, each for three weeks, in the fall, with my twin teenagers, as part of a semester across Latin America. Both apartments were both terrific. Wifi was strong. The Recoleta location is fantastic - close to parks and in a safe area of Recoleta. Great outdoor deck. Doorman was very friendly. Decor was fun. Plenty of places to eat, as well as grocery stores. Robert was a pleasure - responded promptly. His Web descriptions are on target. He is someone who cares about being professional.

A Gem In the Sky

Well, for four years I had been trying to take my 86 year old Argentinian-born mom back home; finally she said yes! I booked everything as quickly as possible before she changed her mind... In my search for placed to stay I needed something that was nice, comfortable and in a great location. In total there were four of us: my wife, son, mom and me. A co-worker told me about VRBO and he was very satisfied with the vacations that he had taken using it, so I thought give it a try. Well I must say I was a little nervous at first because there are so many people ready to steal your money and this was the first time I used this site. As we approached the building my anxiety immediately lessened. Carmen the manager was there to greet us at the door. She assisted us with our luggage upon arrival and departure. She was wonderful, helping us with anything we needed. All you had to do was call her and she was there. Now comes the best part of all: "a gem in the sky." A beautiful penthouse that took our breath away! When we walked in my wife looked at me with such a smile of satisfaction. Mom had a look that I wish I had a picture of. My son turned to me with an expression of "wow" and said "Mom, you did good." I just smiled and internally was thanking VRBO and Robert! The decor was incredible, and immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen is one that I wish I had. The bedrooms each had their own full bathroom, which provided conveniency and privacy for all. A housekeeper came in the middle of the week to freshen the place up. In addition, the location of this apartment is prime, located in a beautiful neighborhood. There is a supermarket, two coffee shops, and pharmacy across the street. Places to eat were not far also. This is such a beautiful apartment. When I return to Argentina again, and I will, I am staying in "a gem in the sky". My wife and I travel a lot and this apartment is one of the best places we have ever stayed!
