Reduced Pricing!!! A Slice of Paradise! @ the Shipyard Palms!

In the heart of Old Town, with the beautiful community of private homes and condominiums of Truman Annex, this Shipyard Condominium has great access to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park Beach as well as the Historic Old Town Key West. This beautifully decorated first floor condominium on Southard Street has two bedrooms, one full and one half bathrooms.

The living room is nicely furnished with leather sofas, tv with DVD and high speed internet along with a fully equipped kitchen and dinette area to accommodate four people. One bedroom has been upgraded to a king bed, while the front bedroom has a queen bed. A large back deck gets ample sun and just enjoy the Key West weather. The association pool is just a short distance away.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO GRILL.
THE POOL WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST, 2026.

Paradise it is

We were within walking distance of Ft Taylor waterfront park, many restaurants, Duval is a couple blocks away and the free bus stop a block away. Great location, pool was busy but everyone friendly and plenty of places to sit/lounge. I highly recommend this spot.

Great central location, easy walks and Uber rides everywhere. Nicely decorated, clean, & comfortable. Lovely, uncrowded pool area.

Condo in historic district so you can walk most everywhere

We were very impressed with the condo itself, the decor, the amenities of washer and dryer, the pool, we like sitting on the deck and the location was superb. We enjoyed going over to Fort Zachary, Taylor Park and Beach. We went down to Duvall and to the historic Seaport and did lots of activities. We went to celebrate our 62nd birthdays and had a blast. Thank you so much and we definitely will recommend this location and I would certainly stay there again.

Amazing

Place was amazing, we booked months ahead of our trip and the original place we booked had construction come up during our stay so they called and asked if they could put us in another spot for no additional charge. It had everything the other had and then some. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and their communication, hospitality and help were top notch! Will def stay again next time we are in the keys

Great Location!

A little difficult to figure out how to find your rental and parking. The space was beautiful and clean, things were tight but definitely works. I had to call a couple of times for various questions and the staff was very quick, friendly, and responsive. The location was perfect!

Nice unit in great location, on great grounds

Enjoy the Shipyard units and area. This unit is a nice, clean and updated unit with a very nice back deck area - the ground floor units are smaller to make way for the staircase to the second floor unit, but the deck out the back more than makes up for it. We felt it was perfect for our family for four.

Family Time

The location was fabulous!!! We drove down from the Everglades, parked the car and never used it again until we left for airport. The property is so convenient- close to restaurants, beach, coffee shops, Hemingway House and more!!! The property managers were very helpful and great to work with. We are ready to return for another visit soon.

Cute place! Quiet and clean. No Air when Arrived and had to wait for the maintenance person. No Cable TV from Friday until Tuesday. Loved the atmosphere and everything was comfy. Would stay there again.

On occasion maintenance issues do occur, but we were able to have the AC fixed within an hour after it was reported to us. Unfortunately, there was an internet problem that affected all of Truman Annex during your stay. We hope to see you again!

Annual Key West Trip

My husband and I try to visit Key West every year in Nov. or Dec. We have wanted to stay in the Truman Annex area for soetime. This listing was perfect. It has everything you need. All the conveniences of home. The location is great. Close to the activity but very quiet. It was very clean and check-in was a breeze. It is a small property that accommodates 4 adults. There were only two of us but it may be cramped with 4. We used one bedroom to keep our luggage in. We would definitely stay here again. We did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As long as you are aware of square footage restrictions this is a perfectlocation to visit Key West. Bedrooms are tight and half bath is more like aquarter. If you are a larger person or have mobility restrictions be aware. I have stayed in several locations in the shipyard, this was the cleanest best maintained. I'd go back tomorrow if I could.

We appreciated the late checkout and fabulous communication along the way. There is a bike rental place 1 block away - easy walk. We loved the splash pad which was free and within walking distance. The unit was stocked with everything we needed. The dining table was wobbly and frustrating to play games on but we were able to make it work.

Perfect location in paradise

This holiday was to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary as 30 years ago we came to Key West as part of our honeymoon and thought it would be a great idea to re-visit. And we had no regrets... From the moment we turned into the street, to parking our car in the secure car park and then accessing the property, we knew we had chosen an absolutely perfect place to call 'home' from which to enjoy our week in Key West. Beautifully decorated and maintained inside and out. All the amenities you would need. Perfect. We had a slight issue with the front door lock. However, a call into the property management office, and within a short space of time one of the maintenance team arrived, worked on the lock and resolved our issue. Top marks and our huge thanks for the response and commitment. We were so happy with everything: the decor, the property, the location. Perfect. Our grateful thanks to the owners for such a fantastic place to stay. We will be back!

Small Condo

This condo is cute, but very small for a 2 bedroom. I ended up being glad our friends didn't join us. There wouldn't have been enough room for 4 adults. The bathrooms are very small. There is nowhere to store closing - closets were jammed with extra bedding, and no dresser drawers. We had to lay all our things on the spare bed, and live out of the suitcases for a week. The bathroom is very hard to get ready in. Small mirror right next to the wall, so you can't see your entire face to do make up, or head to do hair without standing up against the wall. The room smelled a bit musty too. Very cutely decorated, but we will definitely need something larger next time. Thanks!

Rent Key West - Thank You!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I just wanted to send a big Thank You to the Rent Key West Florida staff. When we arrived at this rental, we noticed it very warm inside. After a couple of calls to the 24/7 on call maintenance person (who did nothing for us by the way) we had to wait for the following day to get someone from Rent Key West to help us. It was determined the air conditioner unit was shot and they offered two different places to stay. We moved the following afternoon, with help from the staff, and enjoyed the rest of our vacation at a different location. Thank you John, Jann and Kyle for all your help in making the rest of our trip memorable. You truly work hard to make sure your clients are satisfied.

Perfect balance

The condo is absolutely beautiful. Exactly like the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and calm and when you want the crazy nightlife, it's just 2 blocks away.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived very late due to horrible traffic. WE could not get into the parking lot because I did not have the code to get in.I called the emergency number and was treated rudely on the phone and was told I had trouble following simple instructions. I was beyond angry. The first night was fine but the next two days were terrible cause the air went out and it was unbearable to say the least. I complained and was told she would inform the manager but of course nobody called me. The place was very nice and a good location but I felt they could of let us stay an extra day for the inconvenience we suffered.
