Ridgway's finest rental! Nestled between Ouray and Telluride, Ridgway is the gateway to the San Juan Mountains, located at 6,985 feet. This unique, in-town location offers the 'best of everything' at your finger tips. Enjoy the spectacular views while cooking, dining or relaxing in this comfortable, open home. It is fully furnished with all the necessary amenities to dine in and watch movies, or grill outside and watch the wildlife.

'Meadows to Mountains' is a short walk to town, which has everything one might need: restaurants, gift shops, grocery store, brewery, community park and much more. The house is a stone throw away from public tennis courts, soccer fields and skateboard/bike park (please bring your own equipment for these). Ridgway has a lot of character, with plenty of opportunities for the adventurous tourist or those seeking stillness in nature. The house is a 15 minute drive from the scenic town of Ouray, 45 minutes from Telluride, and 30 minutes from the Montrose airport. The town hosts weekly summer concerts and farmers markets (all within walking distance).
Some additional highlights of the area include easy access to hiking, four wheeling, horseback riding, hot springs, local rock climbing crags, climbing fourteeners, and over 20 miles of mountain biking trails. Ridgway State Park is located 10 miles from town and can be accessed via a paved biking trail or car. The park has three entrances that provide access to a swimming beach, boating ramp, fishing, camping and hiking. The Umcompahgre River runs through town with easy access to fly fishing and kayaking from the house. The nearby Divide Ranch and Golf Club offers breathtaking views of Mt. Sneffels, one of the tallest and grandest peaks in Colorado.

The Town of Ridgway recognizes a Dark Sky Ordinance-- Please turn off all exterior lighting when not in use and when going to bed at night.
Cars should be parked in driveway. Enough space for up to 4 cars. No street parking. Attached garage is closed off for owners’ belongings.
Noise inside house should not be heard by neighbors. Outside quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, as enforced by Ridgway Marshal.

Mountain SxS riding

Great place to stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. It was in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again if we are going to the area.

Another excellent stay at this amazing home. The layout is just perfect for multiple couples traveling together and would also be great for extended family. The home is comfortable, a social yet capable kitchen layout and a cozy master suite. Ending each day looking at the mountains and listening to the prairie dogs and birds is priceless!

Perfect Summer Getaway

Very nice property in a perfect location within Ridgway. Home has great amenities and a very well laid out floor plan for a family. Ridgway was a perfect home base for exploring Ouray and day trips to Telluride. Ridgway itself is a hidden gem with plenty of activities to do in town. Krista was an excellent host and very easy to work with!

Perfect weekend getaway

Came with my two little kids and parents and the house was absolutely perfect. We had a wedding in town to go to and we were able to walk to all wedding events. House also had so much stuff for the kids and was super well stocked. Also insane views and soft beds didn’t hurt. Definitely book this stay!

Wonderful House and Stay

We had an amazing time at this house. The location was perfect with an incredible view and so close to town (within walking distance). We were centrally located to do things in Telluride, Ouray, and Montrose (as well as Ridgeway). The house had everything we needed in it and was perfectly laid out for all of us to be there. We would definitely stay here again and loved our time in this house and in the area.

Quiet corner of Ridgway in town!

Krista was very responsive to all of our needs in a timely manner. The house was comfortable and conveniently located to Ouray, Telluride and Montrose. The views were lovely from the back patio. The beds were comfortable and all amenities provided for our stay. We walked to town many times for meals and took leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Great in-town location.

Great family get-away

This is our third time in this house. Great layout, kitchen is well designed and location in town is great for going to the farmers market, the brew pub, and the concerts. It backs up to open fields with a great view of the San juans, and it is right across the street from soccer fields and basketball courts. We will be back.

Wonderful house and daily view, so close to so many attractions. Spacious home, owner great to communicate with. First rate cooking amenities both indoors and out. You are in walking distance to restaurants, but also a top notch grocery, so with the kitchen lay out, save yourself a few hundred dollars and do it yourself. Trust me, the view will not be better from any other table in the world! We loved our stay and recommend this with the highest regards.

Ridgeway Getaway

What a great place to stay for vacation. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Everyone in our group of 6 made comments on how comfortable the beds all were. That's a big plus in my book. Great views out the back. We travel to the Ouray/Ridgeway every year and have a hard time finding a place that we can park our 3 trucks with small 14 ft trailers for our SxS's. This place fit all our needs. Krista was easy to work with. We will be staying here again.

San Juan Home Away from Home

This was our third stay at this great home. It was all we've come to expect: clean, comfortable, convenient. It's a great property for several couples or extended family! Ridgway house

This house is walkable to the town of Ridgway, and the view from the back porch is great. Krista and Keith were incredibly responsive and helpful beyond the requirement. My wife and I traveled with our daughter, and Krista helped secure a stroller, highchair, and hiking baby carrier. The kitchen is very functional, and the room layout is conducive for three sets of people sleeping with privacy. And the house's high ceilings give it an airy feeling.

House was located next to fields with a great view of the mountains all around. Loved that you could just walk to the town of Ridgeway and was close to Ouray. Bed in one of the guest bedrooms was a little uncomfortable but other than that it was great.

Wedding Visit

The house was comfortable, and the view spectacular. The location was the perfect combination of country and town. You are close enough to town to be able to walk and enjoy the concerts in the park, as well as restaurants. You are also able to sit outside and enjoy views of fields, and mountains, and the occasional deer or two. Kitchen was well stocked and pleasant to cook in. If we visit Ridgway again we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property and location!

We stayed for a week with another couple. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and with lots of high end finishes. It's in a perfect location in Ridgway, within walking distance to restaurants, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and didn't want to leave!

Summer Adventure

This home was the perfect basecamp for our summer mountain adventure. Location was great, views were huge, and after a long day on the trail it was extremely relaxing and comfortable. We will return for sure.

Would highly recommend this place! Beautiful, clean, gr8 location! One reason we rented it was it had a 2-car garage for our open-top Jeeps; didn’t know garage was off-limits. Next time will check. Also master closet off-limits; no place to hang clothes. Kitchen needs a mixer. Overall, gr8 place....

We love Ridgway and our friendly community. Ridgway is a small town with a BIG heart. We understand the value of taking a break from the daily routines, and due to the nature of the teaching profession, we leave during the summer to travel. We welcome others to enjoy our piece of rural solitude!
