A Personal Welcome
This home is very special to us.
I’m originally from Vancouver, BC and have been visiting Maui since 1977. Dani, originally from the Czech Republic, has called Maui home since 2010. We met here, fell in love here on this property, and eventually made this oceanfront condo part of our lives. We live here for half the year, and every detail was chosen with care—not as a rental, but as a true home. When you stay here, you’re not just a guest—you’re part of our ohana. We hope you feel that connection from the moment you arrive.

Ideal Guests & Sleeping Arrangements

Ideal for couples, honeymooners, and newlyweds seeking comfort, privacy, and a luxury experience.
This unit is best suited for 2 guests but can accommodate a small family. One or two children can sleep on the large, comfortable sectional sofa.

Please note: the sectional is not a pullout couch, but it can be used as-is, with extra bedding provided.

“Lulu,” a handmade mosaic honu, honors the sea turtles that make this bay so special.
“Pele,” our sea grape tree, grows beside the lanai, adding natural beauty and shade.

After a day in the sun, enjoy one of three oceanfront BBQ areas with picnic tables and sunset views.
There’s nothing quite like ending your day here—with the ocean in front of you and the sky lighting up in color.

Short-Term Rental Agreement Addendum

Property: 5295 Lower Honoapiilani Road, Unit A13, Lahaina, HI 96761
By booking, confirming, paying for, accessing, or occupying the property, the Guest agrees to this Addendum, which forms a binding part of the rental agreement and applies to the Guest, all members of the Guest’s party, invitees, vendors, and visitors.

1. Special Care: Marble & Stone Surfaces
Unit A13 features premium white marble countertops and white travertine flooring. These natural stone surfaces are porous and susceptible to staining, etching, discoloration, and dulling.
Guests must immediately wipe up spills, especially red wine, coffee, tomato-based sauces, oils, citrus juices, vinegar, perfumes, and similar acidic or staining substances. Guests must use provided coasters, placemats, and cutting boards; avoid placing hot, wet, oily, acidic, or staining items directly on stone; and never drag luggage, furniture, or sharp objects across the floors.
Guests are financially responsible for any damage, staining, etching, discoloration, or excessive wear to stone surfaces caused during their stay.

2. Weddings & Events Policy
Small weddings or private gatherings are permitted only with prior written approval from the Owner/Manager and are limited to a maximum of 15 people total, including overnight guests, visitors, vendors, and service providers.
Any gathering exceeding 15 people requires additional written HOA approval, where applicable. Please contact us if your group may be larger. Unauthorized events, parties, or large gatherings may result in termination of the rental, eviction without refund, and responsibility for applicable fines, damages, or charges.

3. Lanai & Aesthetic Policy
The lanai must remain clean, uncluttered, and in compliance with property standards. No laundry, towels, clothing, beach gear, coolers, personal items, decorations, signs, or other objects may be hung, draped, stored, or displayed on the lanai in any way visible from the exterior, common areas, or neighboring units.

4. Water Toys & Beach Equipment Disclaimer
The property may provide optional beach and water equipment, including snorkels, fins, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and related items.
Use is entirely at the Guest’s own risk. Ocean, beach, and water activities involve inherent risks, including injury, drowning, property damage, and loss. By using provided equipment, the Guest releases the Owner, Manager, and their agents from liability for claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from such use, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Guests must rinse all equipment with fresh water after each use and return it clean and in good condition. Umbrellas must not be used in high-wind conditions.

5. General House Rules
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guests must maintain reasonable noise levels and respect neighbors at all times.
Smoking is prohibited inside the unit, on the lanai, and in all non-designated areas. Smoking is permitted only in the designated area in the top back right section of the parking lot. Violations may result in a minimum $500 professional cleaning and odor remediation fee, plus any additional restoration costs.

6. Damages, Liability & Personal Property
Guests are financially responsible for damage to the property, furnishings, appliances, fixtures, flooring, stone surfaces, equipment, or other items caused by the Guest, party members, invitees, vendors, or visitors. This includes repair or replacement costs, special cleaning or remediation, applicable fines, and lost rental income during repairs. The Owner/Manager is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, theft, loss, or damage to Guest belongings during the stay, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Guest Acknowledgement
By booking, confirming, paying for, accessing, or occupying the property, the Guest confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms in this Addendum. Violation may result in termination of the rental, eviction without refund, and/or additional charges.

Arrival & Property Standards
To ensure our home meets 5-star expectations, a final inspection and video recording are completed before each guest arrival.
If anything is missed, please contact us so we can resolve it promptly.

Island Living Conditions
Maui is a tropical environment. Guests may encounter geckos, roosters, and insects typical of island living. Although regular pest control is maintained, complete elimination of pests is not possible in Hawaii. Their presence does not constitute grounds for refund.

We do not guarantee adjacent properties will be free from noise, construction, or neighboring activity. These do not constitute grounds for refund.

Utilities & Service Disclaimer
By booking, guests acknowledge that temporary interruptions to water, electricity, air conditioning, plumbing, internet, or cable may occur beyond host control.
Internet and cable may be inconsistent at times. No refunds will be issued for such interruptions. The host is not liable for loss or damage to personal property due to weather, natural events, or circumstances beyond control.

We had a great time in Maui. The location of this condo cannot be beat. You are steps away from the bay with a lanai to eat and relax on. We were able to reach the owners without any issues when we had questions or problems. We would absolutely stay there again!
