The beach view was exactly as described: unobstructed and beautiful. The condo itself is very basic and rather tired looking. I also recommend adding just a few accoutrements to the kitchen supplies: salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, coffee filters or a keurig and pods, Kleenex. These are items found in most rentals and all hotels.

The space was smelly, cigarette smoke, etc...couch looked over used, ....other than that, clearer info to property would have been great. But the location/ beach exceed my imagination. Communication from host,property mgmt., could have been better, I was told they haven't been there and I should just get off the phone, focus and should find it. I eventually found itband a lady walking her dog further helped me. Then inside finding my space # was challenging coming from the elevator, a gentleman helped me. . It all obviously worked out, but clearer and concise information would definitely have been appreciated.

We have stayed at the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club several times in other units and love this area. The pool is well kept, beach access is close and there are always tons of dolphins to see. This is our first time in this particular unit and it left much to be desired. The balcony view was outstanding (which is why I selected the unit) and was the redeeming quality of this unit. The furniture was dated, which was to be expected from the photos. However, there was a quite strong smell in the unit which was not expected and definitely off putting and the floors looked and felt dirty. I wound up wearing socks in the unit otherwise my feet were dirty from walking in the space. Bathroom was basic (to be expected from photos) but mostly clean outside of visible staining on the ceiling. We spend most of our time at the beach/pool or on the balcony with the ocean view so we made it work. However, if you are picky about interiors or wanting to spend significant time inside, this unit may not be for you. If you are looking for something affordable with a great beach view and willing to live with the limitations of the unit, it could be the right option for you. A few updates to the space (new blinds, furniture, smart TV and new carpet) along with more thorough cleaning and addressing the strange smell would go a long way to making this a unit a place to return to again and again.

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay! It’s definitely on the smaller side, but perfect for a couple. We saw dolphins swimming daily and watched beautiful sunsets from the patio. It didn’t have little things that I assumed would be there, like coffee filters and salt and pepper, but no complaints. Communication was great and everyone was friendly! Beautiful pool area as well! Would definitely stay again!

Quick getaway

Overall a great stay! Affordable for beautiful views and relative quiet. Unit itself is older and a bit run-down, especially the lock on the front door. But if what you’re looking for is affordable beachfront with a view - this unit more than delivers!

Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals is a family owned business that has been offering vacation rental accommodations since the beginning of 2001 and we currently manage over two hundred vacation rentals on Tybee Island.

We are fully licensed, insured and bonded, and all reservation payments are deposited into an audited trust account. We manage the rental process and maintenance of a wide variety of privately owned properties which allows us to pretty much provide something for everyone.

We strive to provide our guests with excellent service and value by offering a wide selection of quality properties that are clean and well maintained.


We are here to serve you 7 days a week. Our day starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM, however, Sunday hours may vary during the offseason.

Our phone lines are open from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM we turn them over to voice mail at 5:00 PM. Our office is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Days and for some holidays we will close early the day before.

We also close early some days to participate in community events such as the Pirate Fest Parade, Beach Bum Parade, etc.
