When you first reported an odor, we responded promptly by sending our property management team to investigate. Their initial assessment was that the odor did not appear to be coming from the carpet, but we still arranged for a professional carpet cleaning as an additional step to address your concerns. Our goal was always to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Throughout your stay, we also coordinated with vendors regarding the pool heating and addressed the other maintenance items you reported. As with any vacation home, occasional maintenance issues can arise, and we work hard to resolve them promptly. Since your stay, we have personally visited the property, and multiple subsequent guests have stayed in the home without reporting the odor or the concerns described in your review. While we respect that your experience was different, we have not found these issues to be ongoing. We also want to note that our team remained committed to assisting throughout your stay, despite some communications becoming difficult. Our property managers strive to treat every guest with professionalism and respect, and we appreciate courteous communication in return so we can work together toward a resolution. Hi Alan, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We always aim to provide a comfortable experience for our guests and appreciate your suggestions. The master bed is equipped with a memory foam mattress topper that many guests have found comfortable. The topper is removable, revealing a standard-height mattress similar to those in the US. We also provide a step stool in the bathroom for added convenience. Regarding the pool steps, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will address it with our maintenance team.
