Available for both short-term and long-term rentals, this convenient location allows you to explore everything Alaska's largest city has to offer and is an easy stepping-off point to discover the rest of our great state.

Generously appointed with heated bathroom floors, room-darkening bedroom blinds, gas fireplace, LED HDTVs in every room, high speed wireless internet and High-Def Dish Network TV, vaulted ceilings, stainless appliances including HE washer and dryer, one king (or two full) size beds in every room, two car attached heated garage, and private fenced back yard. Our goal is to make your stay comfortable, economical, and enjoyable.

Please note that the main living area (kitchen/dining room/living room) is on the second floor.

Property was clean and conveniently located near the airport. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and it was a bit crowded, with one of the kids having to sleep on the futon in the living room. There are actually only beds for 6 people. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, etc. We thought there was a conventional hot tub for relaxing after a hard day of hiking, but it was just a jetted bathtub -- I think we just misunderstood the listing.

Great 3 night stay

Great stay beds were comfortable. Home has everything you need. We didn’t use the kitchen but very accessible with cupboards stocked. Very roomy, we had 4 adults and had plenty of room. Glad we choose this location versus a hotel.

My visit to Alaska

Great month at this house. Very good location for seeing Anchorage and go north or south to other places like Talkeetna and Seward.

Perfect for families

A nice duplex only a short drive from the airport and downtown Anchorage. Close to a major road, so a tiny bit noisy overnight, but we had no issues with the property. The beds were wonderful. We appreciated the washer and dryer as we packed light. Also appreciated the condiments, coffee and other drinks. And the salmon was delicious too

Communication/response

Owner was easy to communicate with and was able to repair a freezer that was not working. Lots of amenities upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen. Fishing rods available for guests to use.

Convenient and Clean!

Convenient location, easy access, for getting around Anchorage and the surrounding areas. Though we didn't really do anything immediately nearby, a little less driving might have been nice, but really can't complain about the short commutes. The neighborhood is a mix of old and new both in the surrounding businesses and homes/cars. Easy to accidentally pass the street that connects the main road from the road the house is on, but we'll call that user error, lol! Extremely well appointed kitchen especially for a vacation rental. Even salt, pepper, and a variety of spices to use! And storage containers for leftovers!!! The beds are crazy comfy. My first night I had a great night's sleep which is super rare for me in general and especially in a new place. I would stay here again and recommend others stay here too.

Has everything!

Mike and Charity have this home well supplied with everything you need. Nice neighborhood, which was close to the airport, restaurants, shopping and the city was also not very far. We were able to store the fish we caught in the large chest freezer. Thanks!

Comfortable & well stocked townhome

This townhome is located approx. 5 minutes outside of towndown Anchorage (perhaps 5-6 miles). It is not within walking distance of any downtown sites but we Ubered everywhere and it was convenient. The townhome was comfortable and we appreciated the excellent communication from Mike prior to our arrival. The day of our check-in we had a small issue with the entry combo working but Charity worked to get it figured out in a timely manner. The unit was very well stocked with dishes, coffee & tea, spices, and some items in the pantry. The owners were also generous in providing lots of towels in the bathroom. Overal it all worked out well for our family's 4 night stay.

Well stocked kitchen & comfortable beds

Our welcome into the home was easy, and communication with the owner was prompt. The kitchen's pots and pans, along with knives, were top-notch. The beds were very comfortable, and the living space was good for even a family of five. Would recommend!

Home away from home

Our stay in your VRBO was excellent! Clean and comfortable and spacious! Thank you Mike for being so accommodating in letting us check in early and checkout late! We enjoyed Anchorage and are sad to go home! We had great weather with just a bit of rain and wind. Our memories of Alaska will be great and having this “home away from home” made it that much more special. Thanks!

Large Duplex with comfortable beds!

Our family of 4 with 2 older teens stayed in this 3 bedroom duplex. The beds were comfortable and it had a well appointed kitchen with all the essentials. Furnishings were a bit dated (used) and carpet needed refresh, but overall the unit was clean and comfortable. Although we missed having a beautiful view or a more natural setting (no real outdoor space to enjoy), the location was perfect for us near the city, we needed to be close to friends living nearby in town. Having a washer and dryer was great, we did laundry 3 times and all soap and dryer sheets were generously provided. We had a busy week, we recommend FlatTop hike, a boating trip out of Whittier to see the glaciers in Prince William Sound, and make use of the miles and miles of bike trails. We ate at City Diner for breakfast and loved Bear’s Tooth for pizza- both right around the corner. Shopping at Carrs (Safeway) literally right next door. Mike was very easy to work with and checked in on us by text to make sure we did not need anything. Lastly our deposit was returned within days. Overall a very nice stay.

Wonderful place to stay!! The pictures don't do the place justice!

Very large place with all updated appliances and entertainment options. Would highly recommend this place to others and I am already hopeful that I can stay again if I am able to make another trip. Mike was very helpful with any questions we had. Thank you!!!

Had a wonderful stay!

Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations for me and my family as we came from all over for my son's wedding. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a memorable time together. Mike was very kind and helped us with whatever we needed. A warm, cozy, and inviting place to kick off your shoes and stay awhile.

The townhouse is within walking distance of a Carr's Safeway grocery store, a Dollar Zone store, a diner, and Antonio's Greek Bakery. There is a large fenced in yard and a play area, tennis court and walking path at the local park. The master bedroom and bathroom with a washer and dryer are on the bottom floor and has access to the backyard. The top floor has one large bedroom and one small bedroom as well as a bathroom. The great room has a nice flow with the kitchen, dining table and living room. Two comfortable recliners, a futon, large screen tv, WI game system with games, and a gas fire place to spend quality time or enjoy a cup of coffee. Be aware that there is no darkness in June so even with darkening shades it is still hard to get your mind to believe it's time to sleep. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A Great Stay

Cozy, clean and welcoming

My family recently gathered at this lovely anchorage home for a few days during the holidays. We were so very pleased with this well appointed and welcoming home in a fabulous location. The beds, linens and furnishings were good quality and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. Having a fireplace and a garage added to the charm and convenience especially in light of the cold and snowy weather we experienced. We hope to stay at this lovely home again during our next Alaska trip.
