Situated on the edge of Campbell Lake with stunning views of the Chugach Mountains you can watch eagles soar overhead, waterfowl glide across the water and seaplanes take off and land - all from the comfort of your living room or on the spacious deck overlooking the lake.
This is an upmarket million dollar house with all amenities, Situated in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Anchorage, restaurants and supermarkets.
Four bedrooms, sleeps eight (2 king, 2 queen size beds) and there is a pullout sleeper couch perfect for a child. Three full bathrooms with fresh linens and all essentials. Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Open-concept living and dining area with large windows, sliding doors and natural light. Free Wi-Fi and 3 T.V.'s with Netflix and Prime. BBQ facilities on the deck.
A small Sevylor inflatable boat as well as a powered barge is included for cruising the lake.
6 bicycles to explore surrounding areas and a great trail along Campbell Creek are also included.
Land Rover Discovery Sport available to rent.
We offer Flight Seeing flights from the house in our Cessna 172.

Amazing property. Felt like home away from home. We stayed there with our friends when we were visiting Anchorage and this was our base. Very well maintained, clean and well presented property. Jean was great to deal with and responded quickly when we had any questions. Would absolutely stay again.

Anchorage Stay

We were very happy with the property. The boys were disappointed that the jet ski was not in working order because it was the thing they were most excited about. They loved the bikes and rode several times.

A slice of Heaven

Nine of us enjoyed this beautiful, inviting home for the week leading up to our daughterā€™s wedding. (Our group included 7 adults and 2 kids, ages 7 and 11.) The home is spacious and beautiful, with amenities the hosts made available, from bicycles and a delightful raft for a peaceful excursion along the lakeā€™s shoreline, to coffee and tea and other thoughtful touches that made us feel not only comfortable, but welcome. We could not have chosen a better home base for our family on our special week leading to the wedding. Our deepest thanks to our hosts, Jean and John Wright!

Fantastic hosts, great location

We enjoyed an outstanding family week at the lake house! Jean and John are truly delightful hosts - responsive, friendly and relaxed. They clearly wanted us to enjoy their beautiful home, which we surely did. The view from the deck and living areas is beautiful and relaxing. We rented their Land Rover which was a pleasure to drive and good value for the summer high season in AK. A highlight of our stay was flying with John in his float plane right from the house dock! The flight inspired our son to begin pilot training. Our stay was an outstanding experience and we would love to stay again on future visits to AK. Truly an outstanding stay.

The property was in the perfect location, in a great neighborhood with close access to highways. Everything is easy from there! Jean and John were amazingly gracious, attentive hosts, and the lake is your back yard! What could be better?

Fabulous

This home (and it's definitely a home, not just an impersonal rental) was perfect for our multigenerational family group in town for a wedding. Plenty of comfortable welcoming space to gather, visit, and do wedding prep, along with plenty of room to take quiet time as needed. The deck, lake, and mountain views are amazing, and communication with our host couldn't have been easier. Highly recommend!

Top Notch

I reserved this stunning home for myself and three colleagues to use on a work trip. The house was gorgeous, and Jean and her easy-to-contact communication style made our stay even more enjoyable. I loved that she was onsite when we checked in; sheā€™s just lovely. The views from the primary bedroom and the downstairs common areas were incredible. The outside deck offered so many options to sit and relax, and it was fun to wave at all the lake residents as they floated by. It was super fun and relaxing to float around the lake on the barge. I look forward to our next work trip. Iā€™d definitely book again.

What a joy to live on the lake for a week!@

This property is lovely. We had everything we needed in the home and our group of 7 adults were comfortable the entire week we were there. The owners were available if we needed them during our stay and replied to a text message within minutes. The true magic of this home is the view to the back of the home and the float-plane lake the house sits on. Float planes take off and land during the day and are fascinating to watch. There were bald eagles on the lake as well which added to the "awe" of the location. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect for the family

Wow! The views! The Lake! The House! My wife and 3 grown boys loved everything about our relaxing 7 day stay here. After daytime visits to glaciers via ATV/Jet-Ski's and seaplanes, we'd get home, I'd grab a beer, my wife a glass of cabernet, we'd step out the patio deck and gaze at the lake below, trees above and and mountain tops in the distance. If you're debating, just treat yourself, you live once!

An Amazing Week

This is a lovely home on a beautiful lake with gorgeous views of snow-covered mountains. What more could one ask? This is not a standard house-for-rent that rotates between incoming customers. This is someone's home that they open up periodically in the most generous way to enable visitors to comfortably experience all that Anchorage has to offer. Kudos to them!

If you like planes and helicopters on a lake setting, this is the place

Property is located by main roads, easy access to downtown or out of town. Lake has some restrictions but lots of bird watching to be done.Great communication with host.

Lovely lakeside house!

We stayed at Jean and Johnā€™s property for a week. It was a mix of work from home and fun activities after work. Lovely house with gorgeous lakeside views. Highly recommend and hosts were very responsive throughout our stay!

We were visiting our daughter and vacationing. We had a group of 8 and this house was perfect!! We had plenty of room and everything that we needed to make this a perfect vacation. This was SO MUCH nicer than staying in a hotel! This home is wonderful! There is plenty of room to hang out together and enjoy. The deck and yard were beautiful. We spent many hours relaxing and watching the float planes land. We even watched a bull moose across the lake! Our host was wonderful! She patiently answered all of our questions and made sure that our vacation was perfect!!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental home. The home was well maintained. The home owners were very attentive to any of our needs. We would highly recommend this rental home to anyone. We had 6 people staying there from age 18 month to 85 years old. With no problems at all. When we return to Anchorage we would love to return to this rental.
