Ocean Dunes 119 is a beautifully (recently renovated) appointed one-bedroom, one-bathroom villa with a stunning direct view of the Atlantic Ocean. The villa features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a combined living and dining area, and a private balcony that overlooks the ocean.

The bedding for this villa includes:
- King size bed in the master bedroom
- Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room
- Set of bunk beds, perfect for small children.

The heated oceanfront pool is available year-round, with a comfortable temperature of 82 degrees. Pool hours are from 9 AM to sunset daily.

Ocean Dunes offers complimentary wireless internet, and its prime location on South Forest Beach Drive puts you just 70 yards from the beach and a short distance from Coligny Plaza and Coligny Beach Park.

This property has coin operated laundry on the property, not in the villa.

Dine at the Oceanside Bar & Grill adjacent to Ocean Dunes. Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Perfect getaway for two

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as pictured, with a beautiful view and short walk to the beach. The condo is fairly small, but was perfect for two people.

Family Fun

Great location. A bit small gir our family of 5 with three teenage girls but we made it work.

The room was small but comfortable. Everything was clean and as it appeared in the photos. Quiet area with a short walk to the beach. The pool is heated year round so it was very nice. We had rain one day and windy the next so the pool was still comfortable to swim. The view is ok, being close to the ground you don’t see the beach but you can see the ocean. We saw a deer in the brush walking back from the beach in the late afternoon.. very peaceful area. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Family Getaway

We have never used a condo before and we couldn’t have been more pleased! It was clean, perfect location and for our family of 5 and it was just right. The only thing I would add would be a half railing on the bunks because my 9 year old fell out in the middle of the night. We will definitely be back!

Great Clean Unit in a Great Location!

The room clearly has a plumbing/mold problem. It smelled musty when we walked in and I noticed a huge dehumidifier in the corner of the living room. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work. Once they got it to work, the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly. They replaced that part and we thought we were ok but the next morning more water on the bathroom floor. The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable and stained and dirty. The drapes in the living room were also dirty. This all said, they did replace the sofa and the maintenance guy, Dave, was very prompt, understanding and professional. The girls in the office (Kristin and Stephanie) were also professional and addressed all issues promptly. They offered compensation and moved us to another unit which was much cleaner…206.We enjoyed the rest of our time in Hilton Head in unit 206. They ended up calling a plumber back to re-repair a plumbing issue that they had already paid to have repaired.

Very nice. Using a walker limited ways to get around (I knew it would be a problem). But, I really didn't anticipate the lack of a bathtub bar or a higher toilet.

It’s cute, clean, small but great for a couples get away. It needs a coffee table and new patio furniture! There is a nice view of the ocean and many wildlife around. The staff is great to deal with any questions!!!

Only recommendation I have is to please put railings and ladder on the bunk beds. There is no way I could safely put my small children on the bunk beds the way they are. They slept on the pull out couch which worked great. I would definitely stay again, it is such a great location / facility. Vacation time was extremely friendly and helpful and right across the street.

Great stay again

When we got to the unit everything was clean and in its place. Only issue we had was the shower wasn't working properly and understand they couldn't get a plumber as it was the weekend. I'm sure it is fixed now as they are always on top of things. Thanks again Steph and staff at Vacation Time!

Very Dirty rental

By the time our showers were over the shower was full of water. The sink backed up as well. The floor and baseboards were dirty with hair when we arrived.

Thank you for the review. This is very disappointing and we apologize that you didn't find the unit as clean as it should have been. Did you by any chance report the shower backing up to the desk? We would have been happy to run over and take care of that for you. Also, we would have had the housekeeper come back and take care of the bathroom. It has been reported to the housekeeping company. November at Ocean Dunes Villa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived the living space seemed smaller than the picture but it was clean and welcoming and very comfortable. I would return and I have already recommended it to others. I love the easy access to the beach for walking and I made good use of the pool. I was looking for quiet and relaxing and it was just that. Dinner at Salty Dog by the water is a must in terms of feeling like you are on the water. the food at Reiley's was excellent although not on the water the outdoor dining was very enjoyable.

Post pandemic vacation nightmare

Excellent location. Easy walk to beach on pathway. The unit was quaint. However, a few things about the unit needed attention, i.e., missing light bulb in lamp in living room, shower head was terrible (my husband made some adjustments to get the water flowing better). The toilet ran continuously for a few minutes after flushing and the bath sink did not drain because the pop up valve didn’t work. The towel ring came off the wall several times, along with the hall coat rack, because these were screwed directly into sheet rock when anchors should have been used. There was no handrail in the shower, this coupled with no bath mat created a slipping hazard. In fact, I lost my balance when I used the shower, as did my husband. We purchased a bath mat immediately and used it each time we showered daily. Additionally, the bed was horrible. The mattress felt like a rock. When I made up the bed Thursday morning, I found a bug in the bed. We left that day even though we were scheduled and had paid for another night. Furthermore, the ice maker did not work. Oh, just so you know, you need to place all towels and strip the bed linens and place these in the designated location and don’t forget to take all of your garbage with you as you leave. If you rent, you are charged for cleaning (why then must the renter be held accountable for these cleaning tasks). The extra, ambiguous charges are both excessive and ridiculous. I don’t believe the cleaning personnel get the money that the renter is charged for their service. Make your own decision about renting, but the above is factual information.

Unit REview

Bathroom floor wasn't very clean; toilet ran FOREVER after flushing; interior of unit wasn't as fresh/ up to date as what we are used to in HHI ; access to beach was GREAT ; Jimmy/ Michael in office could not have been nicer or more accommodating ! We will return .
