Welcome to our wonderful waterfront retreat in the woods. We continue to enjoy so many great times at the lake house and now want to share it with others.

This is a lakefront home directly on Lake Anna with 200' of prime waterfront in the sought after Pigeon Run portion of the lake. The area boasts deep water for any size boat even in the worst drought. The house has a large deck to sip your morning coffee and a covered dock where you and the kids will spend hours swimming and enjoying the water. The fishing is great right from the dock and we regularly catch nice sized catfish and bass in the early morning in late afternoon. This is a great area to waterski or tube. Some of your guests can sit on the dock and cheer as they watch your young water skiers get up for the first time on a pair of skis or wake board. There are two marinas (Anna Point and High Point) right around the corner and has a boat launch, snacks and any boating supplies you may need. There are a few restaurants just a short boat ride away.

The home is on two acres. A short walk down the drive will give you access to another 16 acres where you can hike on the various nature trails. Either through a hike or in the home’s great room, there is wildlife. The high vaulted ceilings include a few of the owner’s hunting trophies from the woods of Virginia. Inside or out, there are many opportunities to just prop your feet up and relax.

The master has a king bed with its own bath. Another bedroom also has a king bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed, twin bunk beds and a toddler bed. The basement living room has a trundle/day bed which makes into two twins. There are TVs on both levels with cable and many DVR movies to choose from. There is also an assortment of games and a ping pong table. Friends will love to hang out on the bar stools in the fully equipped kitchen.

The deck off the great room is a perfect place to eat dinner with a dining area for ten people. There also is a gas grill for those nights you want to throw on a steak or eat the day’s catch. Smores around the fire pit is a favorite of kids and adults alike. The rental comes with the use of a three person canoe for exploring a meandering creek not too far from the dock.
