Casa Valerie is a 10,000+ square foot, 10 bedroom, 9.5 bath villa that sleeps 22+ guests in luxury. Recently renovated to include new bedrooms, updated flooring, an updated pool,added amenities and a luxurious pool-side, resort-style bar so you can enjoy margaritas and some respite from the sun.
Casa Valerie is located above the ocean in the hills above Mismaloya, south of Puerto Vallarta and boasts breathtaking views of the Los Arcos rock formation, the Bay of Banderas, and Mismaloya Beach. Casa Valerie is just 6 miles to Puerto Vallarta, where you can enjoy world-class attractions, dining and night-life. Mismaloya Beach is a 5 minute drive down the hill or 15 minute walk.
Puerto Vallarta boasts 11 Champion Golf courses and great fishing. Experience Yelapa, Las Caletas and Las Ánimas all by water taxis from Puerto Vallarta and Boca de Tomatlán.

Incredible!

The villa is incredible, even better than the pictures. We were a group of 16 adults for a long weekend and had the best time. The rooms, views, the pool, the bar, the food - all just the best. The staff were so lovely and helpful and really made the experience. Thank you Casa Valerie team for a truly memorable weekend!

Good property for a large group

My friends and I have enjoyed staying at Casa Valerie. The villa would probably benefit from a few renovations and updates. Blackout curtains are a must. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Its the staff that makes it great. Out chef made delicious Mexican staples like fajitas, guac and salsa. I was hoping for some home made deserts but they were store bought. Location: top of the hill so not very good for walking around. Beach is probably 10-15min walking distance. Overall, great trip and would probably go back

Amazing time in Puerto Vallarta!

Casa Valerie is amazing. We took a trip for a bachelor/bachelorette with 18 people (9coupes) and had an amazing time. Service: 10/10 - the service was top notch. It was as if David and Pepe could read our minds. They were working all day long to insure we had everything we needed. Just imagine being beside the pool feeling a little thirsty and all of a sudden a Pepe appeared with a fresh margarita. They even went so far as to plan a little ceremony for the upcoming couple to be married. They spent the better part of a couple of hours picking up flowers and making sure the decoration of the ceremony was top notch. Food: 10/10 - The food and chefs exemplify what Mexico and Puerto Vallarta are all about. They would serve us freshly made ceviches, shrimp tacos and callo de hachas at the pool for lunch and freshly caught fish, wish homemade salsas and tortillas por dinner. The chefs were all about the service and would cook anything on cue that you asked for. Cleaning: 10/10 - We never saw the cleaning crew and yet everything all the rooms were cleaned before lunch. What else could one say. Location: 9/10- The location is about 45 minuted from Puerto Vallarta airport. It is perfect for any group looking to hang around the house, go to the close by beach and really get away from city life. House: 9/10 - The house is about 6 floors with two beautiful terraces with amazing views of the Puerto Vallarta bay. It also has a huge downstairs pool area with a bar and couple of tables to just relax, chill and have a good time. Even perfect for having lunch or dinner beside the pool. The only thing desired would be better WIFI connection which the house manager assured would be fixed ASAP. With that it would be a perfect 10/10. Rooms: 10/10 - All the rooms where very clean. Each had its own AC and fan. All the rooms count with superb views of the ocean and Puerto Vallarta bay. All in all it was a perfect vacation. We are very grateful to the staff and owners of the villa for making the weekend everything we hoped for and a lot more. Thank you!

Paradise in PV

From the beginning to the end, the hospitality at Casa Valerie was impeccable. The open communication put me at ease with hosting such a large group. The staff was more than kind and tentative. I cannot rave enough about the dining experience as well. Chef listened to dietary restrictions and allergies. We were so sad to leave our home away from home. I highly recommend this property as I will definitely be returning.

The staff is just as amazing as the view!

The staff Carlos, Chef Victor and Abraham were so wonderful. Can't wait to stay in touch. The location of the home was perfect. The layout of the home was so great for our crew. If anything was ever needed the staff was there to help. It was difficult planning with Armando prior to getting there & then he called as we were going through customs to finalize some plans; just bad timing. Fun was had by all. Thanks for the memories.

11/10 Bachelorette Weekend

Spent the weekend here with 20 friends and family for my bach. The entire staff was so accommodating. Our trip was non-stop fun—the food, service, and drinks were amazing, the view from the deck was unbeatable. and the logistics were seamless throughout the weekend. The wonderful staff (shoutout to Arturo, Alejandro, Carlos, Armando) helped us organize cabs to/from town and the airport, Covid testing at the casa, and even helped us book massages at the casa during our stay. The beds were also v comfy. Highly recommend.

Talk about rooms with views!!!!

16 of us chose Casa Valerie to celebrate two friends' 50th birthday. The villa is simply amazing. The beds were super comfortable, the views from every room were amazing, and that pool is gorgeous and mu h larger than neighboring villas. The staff was so friendly and accommodated all of our needs fabulously which is challenging for a party of 16 adults! Chef Victor and Arturo did a fantastic job with every meal. Carlos was very friendly and attentive and the housekeepers worked diligently to keep the villa tidy every day. The only issue we had was using What's App initially. Once that got straightened out, communication was great! We would love to stay here again someday!

Amazing Get Away and Super Friendly House Staff

Our group had a blast staying here. The chefs, bartender, and housekeeper were extremely friendly and felt like part of our group by the end of our stay. The view and the pool were a once in a lifetime experience!

Reunion at Casa Valerie

We had a great time at the property. The views were amazing, rooms spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful for all of our needs. Food was made to order and was fantastic, I would recommend this property to anyone! We hope to come back soon.

Excellent staff!

We stayed here for a family (6 adults, 5 kids) vacation over Thanksgiving week. The property is nice, very spacious, and private. It has great views! The house is, however, located on the side of a steep hillside so there is a lot of walking up/down stairs. It is also about a 15-20 minute hike up a steep hill from the beach. The staff keeps the property very clean, although some of the amenities could do with some maintenance. There was no laundry available at the house. There is no parking available. What made our stay special was the staff - Alejandro, Alicia, Mary, and Mitzi were fabulous! All were very friendly, easy to communicate with (mainly Spanish, but English too). Meals were tasty and plentiful, drinks served by the pool was a nice touch, snacks after a day out adventuring were very welcome. Alejandro was great helping us organize taxis and laundry service, along with ensuring food and supplies were secured. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Valerie.

The house is everything that is advertised!

The house was perfect for our family of 19. We had plenty of space for everyone to be together, but also plenty of space be able to separate too. Everyday the maid cleaned up the rooms and washed our towels. The cooks were willing to go above and beyond. They prepared anything and everything that we asked. The 2 “waiters” were so helpful. They were willing to help us with anything we asked of them. They also make the best margaritas! This was a very memorable trip for my family. My mom has terminal cancer and the staff really made her feel as comfortable as possible!

Gorgeous Views From Every Room

We just returned home from a fabulous week at Casa Valerie. Freddy, David and all of the staff took such great care of us. From coordinating taxis to making delicious meals we felt pampered in every way. One thing to keep in mind are the bugs. We went during the beginning of the rainy season, June, which brings the bugs out en mass, especially at night, (obviously, nothing specific to Casa Valerie, but something to take into consideration for timing of visit). It's about a 3 min taxi or 10-12 min walk down to Mismaloya Beach, and about 35 min taxi to downtown PV. Freddy helped us coordinate a snorkel trip with Rolando out of Mismaloya. We had so much fun we booked him for a second day, as well. He spoke almost perfect English and took us to some gorgeous spots. With wrap around balconies on every level overlooking Los Arcos, Mismaloya and Banderas Bay, it's hard to imagine better views could be found anywhere in Puerto Vallarta. We will forever cherish our time at Casa Valerie and Puerto Vallarta.

Family vacation.

We just finished a wonderful week of vacation in Casa Valerie. There were 16 of us, all close family members, this is our one special vacation we do ever year. This house is stunning, all rooms are very well appointed, the views are incredible and nature is all around. The staff was amazing, very caring, always helpful and always with a smile. This was by far the best trip we all have taken together and will absolutelly recommend it to all my friends.

Amazing View From A 5 Star Property

We stayed at this BEAUTIFUL property for 5 days and loved every moment of it (5 adults and 11 kids from age 8-16). The accommodations are very well maintained, clean, and spacious. The view is spectacular! We spent most of our time around the infinity pool, lounging, swimming and enjoying Pepe's margaritas. The food was delicious! We can't say enough great things about the staff as they were so friendly and willing to help with any and all requests. HIGHLY Recommend!!!

Beyond Amazing

I just celebrated a week long significant birthday with 13 of my friends at Casa Valerie. The Villa, the views, the pool, the staff were beyond amazing. I cannot praise the staff enough, nothing was too much trouble for them and made us feel that they were as happy to have us there as we were to be there. The villa itself is very clean and well maintained. I would rate Casa Valerie 6 stars if I could.

CASA VALERIE

My family and I stayed at Casa Valerie in March, 2014. My husband and I had our wedding there, and it was beautiful. The views from the villa are stunning! The villa's rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were amazing! They made us feel extra special by helping out with every detail of our wedding, preparing our meals, housekeeping, and any thing else we needed. We look forward to our next visit there!

Valerie the late owner of Casa Valerie and her husband landed in Puerto Vallarta in 1980 for a one-week vacation and fell in love with Mismaloya Beach and the views of Los Arcos. They bought a lot and started building their dream retirement home. Completed in 1981, the initial two-bedroom home hosted family events, holidays, anniversaries and weddings. Valerie transformed the villa in 2002 into a 7 bedroom estate.

Sadly, Valerie passed away in 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her two sons, Sterling and Jefferson, vowed to keep Casa Valerie and build on her legacy. Casa Valerie holds a special place in Sterling and Jefferson's hearts at they were married at Casa Valerie. The home was renovated in late 2020 to add two more bedrooms, a pool-side bar, expanded rooftop terrace and several other amenities. WiFi access points were added to offer complete internet coverage throughout the house.

Valerie was been blessed with having the wonderful experience of living in Puerto Vallarta where her children bloomed with the bi-cultural experience, learning Spanish and thriving in the rich Mexican culture. Sterling and Jefferson go down several times a year with family and friends to enjoy the climate, the food, and the wonderful friends they have made in Puerto Vallarta throughout the years.

There is nothing comparable to the views of Casa Valerie from the pool area. It is a delight to sit by the pool, sipping a margarita and soaking up the sun. There are private terraces throughout the home to ensure that friends and family feel together but enjoy their own space for quiet times. Meeting in the evening for a cocktail served on the terrace watching the magnificent sunsets is unforgettable.
