The newly-constructed, 4,200-square foot house offers an open floor plan with fine detail throughout, including numerous resort-like amenities:

In addition to the four world class ski resorts minutes away (Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows and Sugarbowl), there is cross-country skiing and sledding for the kids just up the hill. In the evenings, there are fantastic restaurants and breweries just five minutes away in historic Old Town Truckee. Music and entertainment can always be found either in Truckee itself or in the nearby casinos on Lake Tahoe (25 min) and in Reno (35 min). There is truly something for everyone!

We were welcomed by a beautiful gift basket. Greg left his phone number so we could quickly contact him with any issues. The downstairs pool table was such a treat. It automatically divided the house into a fun zone and relaxation zone.

Incredible summer stay

Greg was a wonderful host, extremely prompt in communicating. The location is unbeatable - walking distance to shops and a couple restaurants and even the Donner lake swimming area; and 5-15 min drive to exquisite trout fishing on the Truckee river and the adjoining streams. The house was perfect for a large group of adults, sleeping everyone comfortably with plenty of activities - billiards, dry sauna, steam room, hot tub... a perfect home base for adventuring.

Lovely Stay Close to Donner Lake

Greg & Joyce's home was perfect for our family reunion of 16 people, ages 3-80. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for a week. The house is very close to shopping, the freeway, and convenient to Donner Lake. We'd definitely consider staying here again. One downside was the traffic noise from the freeway.

Beautifully house for a large group

The house was great for our family vacation. It has enough room for 17 people and even some amenities for babies (high chairs, pack n' Play, books and toys). One of the rooms wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived, and the list of check-out chores seemed excessive given the price (clean the kitchen counters and stove?). Overall, it was great!

Great Stay

We were a group of mature incoming and current MBA students getting together for a quiet weekend. For us, it was an opportunity to network with MBAs from around the country, for the incoming to get a better idea of what to expect, and to have fun hiking, shopping, and dining in the area. The house was perfect for us to each have our space and to come together to cook family style. Great communication. Highly recommend!

Amazing vacation rental close to Donner Lake for multi-party gatherings!

Everything about this vacation rental was perfect. It was large enough to comfortably fit our party of 8 adults and 8 kids. The location was excellent, close to Safeway and close to Starbucks! We enjoyed all the amenities of the house including the pool table and hot tub. House is well appointed with all you need for large meals and entertainment. Best of all, Greg is a great owner, extremely attentive and responsive to renter inquiries and needs. Would rent this home again and again! Could not have been happier with our stay.

Perfect Family Trip

20 family members had a great stay in this home! Beautiful home with more than enough space for everyone, it had everything we needed for staying in to cook and the check-in/check-out process was super easy. Location was off the freeway and near Safeway, restaurants, etc. Greg, the host, was super communicative and wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing family trip, Greg!

Greg was so communicative and really cared about our stay

This is a great home. The property is amazing and the house is well kept. I recommend this for relaxing weekend summer for sure. The access to Donner lake and all the surroundings is great.

Beautiful cabin and wonderful host!

This cabin was beautiful, clean and spacious and accommodated our large group perfectly. It's in a great location and is taken care of very well. Greg was an awesome host and was always available for any questions or concerns we had. We rent homes through VRBO very often, and Greg was by the far the best host we have worked with. We plan on renting in the future. I would highly recommend staying at this cabin! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing week in Tahoe!

This home is off the charts! It has everything you could ever dream of - from the hot tub to the sauna/steam room to the amazingly huge living room/dining/kitchen area! We have rented a lot of homes over the years and have never encountered an owner as responsive and kind as Greg. Worth every penny and then some! Also for those that don't know Tahoe, this house is so perfectly located to take advantage of all Tahoe has to offer.

Beautiful spacious house, well situated, with a considerate, responsive owner

We had a an excellent stay at the Lof’t House. We were four families with small children ranging from 6 months to 10 years and found the house to be spacious and kid-friendly. The owner had thoughtfully offered to put in a child gate at the top of the stairs and a high chair. The deck’s railings were also child friendly as the slats are spaced close enough together that we did not have to worry about a small child walking out onto the deck. There was a pool table downstairs and a ping-pong table in the garage, which kept the children occupied and happy. The great room was spacious, with comfortable sofas, and a large table- perfect for our large group. The kitchen had a powerful gas stove, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator, with plenty of counter space. There was a second refigerator in the garage, which we used to hold extra drinks. We took advantage of the barbecue outside as well. There is noise from the freeway, but we still kept the all the patio doors open and the freeway quickly became a white noise we hardly noticed. Each bedroom had a bathroom with shower, so that each family could have its own bathroom, in addition to a half bath on the main floor. The bathrooms were as luxurious as they looked in the pictures, and stocked with clean towels and soap. There was a hot tub (which we did not use), and the location was great. We were happy to be near the grocery store and there was even an organic grocer which stocked some less commonly used spices I had forgotten to bring with me. The house is located a short drive to Donner Lake, where kids enjoyed playing with the sand on the beach and going into water. The owner was considerate and extremely responsive. We broke a couple of the ping pong rackets, and the owner deducted the appropriate amount from our deposit, but promptly returned the remainder of our deposit. The house is georgeous and we all absolutely loved staying here. Highly recommend!

Great overall experience in a perfect home for Family Gathering

First, I need to compliment the owner. He is one of the most responsive hosts I have dealt with in all of my travel experience. Detailed and very helpful. Payment was quick and easy and the guide he leaves at the cabin for you to read is super helpful (from operating the TV to how the Bear Box outside works). The house was the perfect stay for our family vacation. We had 10 of us including 4 kids. The kids loved to hang out in the huge vaulted spaced family room and play board games. The adults shot pool in the pool room downstairs. The sauna steam room is like it's own separate spa experience. My ladies enjoyed that part of the house. This was the perfect house for our New Years family vacation and we would definitely book again. The bedrooms, there were so many beds and bedrooms we were spoiled with the space. We could've easily had one more family with us and been okay. Also, one last thing. When we were in Tahoe, the snow was really coming down. We were worried about getting out as most of the Northstar folks were saying 7-8 hours back to the Bay Area. This house is located one freeway exit past the main chain control, so you literally go through the exit chain control with no wait and zip right onto the freeway. We made it back in 4 and half hours in heavy snow! Thanks again to the owner for a great overall experience. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND RENT AGAIN!

Great location, very large and modern house with all the amenities

We stayed at the loft house for a guys weekend in Truckee. The house is huge, very clean and in great shape. There were plenty of beds for everyone, decks and living rooms to hang out, and a great kitchen (good enough for a professional chef in our group to cook one of the best meals I've had). The owner is very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house for a large family, a reunion, or any other event.

Great home with plenty of space for everyone!

The home was exactly as detailed. 10 people stayed in the home and there was plenty of beds and space for everyone. Large kitchen table near the living room made for a great place to hang out. Our group enjoyed the sauna and hot tub - perfect after a long day at the course! Greg was a fantastic owner. Allowed us to check in early and was extremely easy to deal with throughout the rental process. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I am looking forward to staying here again!

WONDERFUL house FABULOUS owner

What an INCREDIBLE home! absolutely BEAUTIFUL! So many details. Greg, the owner is a GREAT home owner. Would high recommend this vacation property! No detail was over looked. Our cycling team stayed here for road cycling nationals and it couldn't have been more perfect for our team. The house is amazing and there was plenty of space. When people went to sleep early it was large enough and sound proof enough for our late nighter to stay up without disturbing anyone. There were plenty of kitchen utensils to accommodate our large group. Greg kept in contact with me the whole time during the renting process and even check on a us a few times while we were there for the week. Couldn't ask for a nicer person to deal with. Would love to stay there again if we ever make it back to Truckee. Thanks for all that you did for Frazier Cycling, Greg! you're the BEST!!!

My name is Greg Beloff, and I'm originally from Boston, Massachusetts. I moved to California in 2009 to pursue my MBA at Cal Berkeley, and now live in San Francisco, where I work in real estate investing. I purchased this home in June 2013 to have a 'home base' for weekend adventures after becoming hooked on Tahoe during grad school. In my spare time, I try to enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer including skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, flyfishing, and floating the Truckee! My wife Joyce and I have two young kids, a son Braden (2) and a daughter Rylee (5 mos), who are the center of our universe! We are happy to welcome you into our home and hope you will enjoy your stay and have many cherished memories during your visit!
