Bonefish Bella Vista, entire house on the beach

Bonefish Bella Vista is a vacation rental situated on a private beach with views over the ocean. Situated on the waterfront it offers breathtaking sunsets views. It is a two storey house with a covered upstairs verandah and a downstairs screened patio. The upper floor has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and italian shower large living room and fully equipped kitchenThe lower floor has just been renovated and turned into a one bedroom apartment that is complete with a king size bed with ensuite bathroom with an italian shower, sitting area and fully equipped kitchen, screened patio which can double into a dining/ lounge area.
Bonefish Bella Vista has also added a private beach for swimming or sunbathing under the Bahamian sun.You can use the kayaks to paddle over to the sand bars opposite the house. We also have snorkeling gear which you can use to do snorkeling in the crystal clear waters and beach chairs plus beach umbrellas and coolers . Bonefish Bella Vista offers free WiFi, BBQ, beach chairs as well as a TV. Great Exuma is the largest of the Exuma Cays which comprise some 365 islands or Cays stretching for 100 miles.The main settlement of Georgetown has excellent Supermarkets, Gas stations, restaurants and banks. It is built around Victoria Lake and Marina with boat hiring facilities. The local waters offers fabulous sailing, diving, deep sea fishing and world class Bonefishing. There is a Greg Norman designed golf course at Emerald Bay and tennis courts at February Point.Georgetown Airport(GGT) has direct flights from Atlanta, Miami, Fort Lauderdale Toronto Canada and Nassau.The Bonefish Bella Vista is 3,5 miles from town and 12,5 miles from the airport.
The house is sanitized regularly.
In addition upcoming guests won't have to share the property with any other guests and the grocery can be ordered to the grocery store and delivered to the property.
The minimum stay is 4 nights .There is a 5% discount for 7nights and 40% for a month

Bonefish Bella Vista was the perfect accommodations for our getaway. The house was clean and beautiful. Our hosts were welcoming and kind! The view was all that we hoped it would be and we would love to come back!!

Wonderful and Relaxing!!

Amazing!

The house was perfect! My husband and I were able to stay downstairs and our teens stayed upstairs. We loved the kayaks and enjoyed the sand bar in front of the house. We enjoyed our time in Exuma and hope to come back soon! The owners are right next door for anything you may need and were so sweet.

Great house and hosts

Very clean and 100% as advertised. Hosts are friendly and just next door if needed, also helpful with local info. Home is well equipped with kitchen basics and appliances. The beach area is quiet, great spot for kyacking and snorkeling. Had the occasional passing ray and sea turtle. Several restaurants and Georgetown are just a short drive away. Definitely enjoyed our week here, looking at options to return in the future.

Amazing private beach

We absolutely loved this house!! Having a private beach with kayaks was the best part! We enjoyed breakfast every morning on our patio and looked out at the ocean. The hosts are extremely nice and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked, we cooked at home most nights-not a lot of restaurants that are always open. Since it’s such a small island, some are only open certain days and times so check that. The backyard pictures don’t do it justice, it’s so peaceful, calm and clear!! Paddle out to the sandbar at low tide, it’s serene.

An incredibly beautiful and peaceful home

My group loved the Bonefish Bella Vista! It was perfect for our weeklong visit. Listening to the wind in the coconut trees while drinking coffee on the porch and looking at the amazing blue water was a great way to start each day. We used the kayaks a lot and snorkeled right from the house--seeing lobsters, fish and crabs. The house had enough room for individuals to get away and also for us all to get together for meals. We cooked in the house a lot and found everything we needed. Jean-Louis and Jacqueline were such wonderful hosts--giving suggestions when needed and also giving us plenty of privacy. I highly recommend staying here. We loved it!!

Can't Say Enough About This House!

Couldn't possibly be happier with this property! The owners live next door and were beyond helpful & accommodating, their knowledge of the island was invaluable! Knowing we would arrive after store hours, they volunteered to shop for us and had the house stocked on our arrival. Slept 6 adults with PLENTY of room and privacy, each couple having their own full bath. Speaking of privacy, a private beach with NO ONE around!! Kayaks, snorkeling gear, could have spent the whole week right there! Thank you so much for making our first full family trip to Exuma amazing!

Week in Exuma

The house was brilliant as were the hosts. They live next door so are on hand with any questions or assistance needed but are very respectful of your privacy too. House is just as the photos and the most amazing views. Lovely and cool with the breeze and air con. Badly pot holed road to get from the main road to the house but fine if take it slowly and being honest, even the one main road on Exuma is full of pot holes! Lots of chairs, kayaks and snorkel gear etc for days at the most amazing beaches. Would love to come back both to Exuma and this property.

Wonderful stay in Exuma

Our family's stay at Bonefish Bella Vista was wonderful,. Our hosts were so hospitable and gracious, even taking us on a tour of the best beaches and local restaurants and other points of interest on our second day. The house was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and stocked with many essentials and even a fresh bowl of fruit and nice bottle of wine, Some of our favorite memories including kayaking out to the flats and watching the sunsets from the spacious deck. Jean Louis and Jackie were very attentive and so knowledgeable about the island and its people. When you visit, make sure you go to Shirley's for at least one meal. La Fourchette was also excellent and the chef a wonderful host. There is so much to do on the island including golf, fishing, snorkeling, etc. We were sad to leave but hope to return and look forward to our next stay at Bonefish Bella Vista.

Home on bonefish flats

My family, two adults and 3 teens, loved our time at Bonefish Bella Vista. The house overlooks flats where my husband fished for bonefish daily. We took the kayaks out to the sandbar daily. The house is very clean, and comfortable, with everything you need. Snorkel gear, umbrella and cooler all provided. Mornings and evenings on the back porch were beautiful. The stargazing was amazing. The house is within easy driving distance to Georgetown (grocery stores/boat rentals/limited restaurants), and beaches. Meals out were expensive, so we mostly cooked dinner at the house and ate on the back porch. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house!

Wonderful Property and Owner

We had our family of 6 at this beautiful home. It was our second time renting in Exuma and this was a great experience! Jacquelyn and Jean-Louis are wonderful hosts. They communicated very quickly every time we emailed for months leading up to our trip. Jacquelyn was on-site in the house next door. She showed us around and had the house prepared so nicely and had the basics to keep us from needing to buy everything. We even needed her help Sunday night at 8pm with a small maintenance issue and she was there immediately. We appreciated her and the beautiful house with the most amazing views. The use of the kayaks and wandering the salt flats was fabulous. We highly recommend this home and owners and would go back in a heartbeat.

Even better than we imagined ❤️

First off the hosts were lovely. They were very gracious and answered all our questions beforehand and were on site to great us. They even gave the couple who stayed with us a ride to the airport. The house is great. It has two separate living areas with kitchens in each. The home was very clean and decorated so cute. They had everything you would need to cook with and had fresh water available to drink. The view is to die for. Right on the water. They provided kayaks which we took across the flats to the sand bar. My husband bonefished right in the back yard. It is located about 10 minutes from Georgetown so we were able to go to a few different restruants In the area. I highly recommend renting a jeep so you can easily get around the island. Tropic of Cancer is a must see. We will be booking the home again in the future for sure.

Beautiful home & views with equally accommodating hosts!

Jean-Louis and Jacqueline were wonderful hosts during our stay in Exuma!! The house was exactly as advertised! They had everything we needed, including laundry detergent, filtered drinking water, bug spray, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas, kayaks, coffee, cooking spices and oils, coolers of different sizes, and more! They were always available for questions about the island, and had wonderful recommendations for what to do during our stay. They pointed us to the right places for groceries, gas, beaches, and restaurants. We were 6 adults total and each couple enjoyed a private bedroom and bath. The house’s layout had a good balance of common areas and privacy for us to spread out when needed and hang out other times. I highly recommend this stay and cannot wait to be back again! One important tip is to follow Jean-Louis’s directions from the airport to the T and do not rely on maps/gps systems on your phone. The written directions seem odd (i.e., turn left at the yellow school bus), but they are exactly what you need and the phone map apps do not work (speaking from experience!)!

Simply Perfect!

Our stay at Bonefish Bella Vista was a treat. First, our hosts Jacqueline & Jean Louis were wonderful. Not only was booking easy, but they treated us like family. We arrived to a beautiful fruit bowl and wine. The house is very clean and comfortable. The hosts live next door and can help quickly with anything you need, but still give you privacy. They have the best recommendations on where to eat, shop, etc. Get a reservation to The Blu on the Water. Amazing restaurant with even better views. The house is stocked better than any house we’ve stayed in. They provide water and really anything you need to make your stay comfortable. The house has multiple new kayaks and really anything you need for a great beach day! The house has a beach for kids to play and calm waters in front. My daughter loved playing in the sand. The deck on the house is perfect, with gorgeous views! One of the coolest things to do is kayak to the sand bar at low tide! Couldn’t recommend this house more! Will be back!

Lovely stay at Bonefish Bella Vista

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Bonefish Bella Vista. Jacqueline was quick to answer all my questions prior to our trip, and when we arrived in Exuma and Bonefish Bella Vista, we were greeted by Jacqueline and Jean Louis and provided with a tour of the home. They were very gracious hosts and are close by should any issues arise during your stay. The home itself was perfect for our family of four, and the views from the main floor and porch were breathtaking. Although the home is directly on the water, we did not swim or kayak very often at the house but instead explored other parts of the island. Kayaks, chairs, coolers, and an umbrella are provided for your enjoyment. We loved our stay at Bonefish Bella Vista and our first time vacationing in Exuma. We rented a boat for several days through Minn’s Water Sports so that we could explore the cays and sandbars. Tropic of Cancer beach in Little Exuma is a must-visit. And if you are feeling adventurous, we would highly recommend taking a day tour with Aquaquest to swim with sharks, visit iguana island, and see the swimming pigs- it was a blast and one of the highlights of our trip. Overall, a lovely vacation and a lovely home. We will be back!

Gorgeous location providing both sunrise and sunset views. House was well equipped with starters like coffee, filters, toilet paper, paper towels, olive oil, soap, trash bags, bug spray....a big plus!! Lott met us upon arrival and gave us keys and a good introduction to the home. Landscaping was beautiful. Close to Brown's Marine and perfect distance from George Town groceries and Little Exuma beaches. Love this location!!!!

Best Family Vacation Ever

Jacqueline and Jean-Louis have the most gorgeous property. Our kids, 17, 15, and 10 just loved it. From playing in the sand, to kayaking out to the sandbar to watch the sunsets, to just relaxing. You couldn't have asked for better hosts. Perfect House, perfect location! Just book it!

My husband and I stayed here with his parents and adult brother for their 50th anniversary trip. The configuration of the house was perfect for us. Our hosts were gracious, welcoming and thought of everything. The location was convenient for going both north and south and the view was phenomenal, especially at low tide. It was obvious they take great pride in the property. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful stay

I can’t say enough good things about the property and Jaqueline, she was wonderful and so helpful, we didn’t have the pleasure to meet Jean Louis (he was out of town), but let me tell you, they are amazing people and amazing hosts, also the house was so clean, well kept, had everything you would need while away from home, it was well stocked and they even welcomed us with a fruit basket, and a wine bottle, our flight was early the day we were checking in and they so kindly let us check in earlier, they let us use their beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear to take w us to the beach while we were there, it is a beachfront property and the views are amazing!! We are a large family and we all had an amazing stay, our kids loved it there, we will be back and will be staying again at the Bonefish Villa for sure!!

Peaceful private spot on Exuma. House is beautiful.

We enjoyed this beautiful home at a very private location. Close enough to Georgetown to get what we needed yet far enough away from civilization. Our hosts were very pleasant and next door if we needed anything, which we didn't. The house was well stocked with paper goods, as well as towels and beach chairs. We took the kayaks out to the sand bar and made daily trips to area beaches. When visiting Exuma I highly recommend a Jeep type vehicle. The roads around the island are very rough and sometimes steep. You must go to the Tropic of Cancer beach but the road is treacherous. Make sure to take the full day trip with Robert's Island Adventures. It is well worth the price. The food, whether at Exuma Market or out to eat is expensive. Bring cash as almost no place takes credit cards. Enjoy the laid back lifestyle and seemingly safe environment. The weather was sunny, breezy and warm each day with occasional rain at night. It is a little piece of paradise.

Breathtaking

We keep coming back for those awesome bonefish flat views, amazing azure water, and peace and quiet. Gracious owners have incorporated all the comforts of home. Leave all electronics by the wayside and soak in the beauty that surrounds you!

Excellent trip

Jacqueline-Jean Louis are so friendly and helpful. They want your vacation to be the best time ever. They helped us with a potential problem rapidly and with professionalism. Their house is so complete just bring your bags,then sit back and relax. Diffidently coming back.

Because it is on a big lot with a lot of trees , right on the ocean , with a private beach, with a breath taking view on the flats from the porch upstairs. The color of the sand, the crystal clear water look like a blue lagoon.The view is unforgettable and this wonderful spot is a true paradise for us and the birds
