Welcome to Casa de la Paz — a sophisticated hillside villa in the secure, gated community of Hermosa Heights above Playa Hermosa. This modern home offers 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests.

From the moment you step inside, you’ll appreciate the seamless blend of indoor-outdoor living: large glass sliding doors invite the views of the Pacific to wrap the living room, dining and terrace. The lounge flows out to the private infinity pool and broad terrace where each evening’s sunset becomes a spectacle in itself.

Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed for comfort and repose, with premium furnishings, air-conditioning and hills-and-sea vistas. The home’s finishes lean into natural textures, warm wood accents and lifestyle sought after by discerning travelers. Beautiful!

The property was very beautiful! The pictures seriously don’t give it justice. We had a few issues while there. Some were simple to fix, others took a bit of process. The safe got jammed, one room in particular had ants all over the toilet, the fan didn’t work, and the AC stopped working. We managed, and the house manager worked with us as best he could. Some things just need to be checked prior to guest arrivals. It was a great trip though, and the house was just what we needed. I’d recommend it!

Exactly what we needed

The perfect house for our group of three couples! The view is absolutely amazing and the house itself is stunning. It’s conveniently close to all the beautiful beaches. We highly recommend this house!

Stunning Location with Amazing View

We Loved this property. It was perfect for our group of two families with kids ranging from 7-17. We loved the view and the infinity pool. The house was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Alex, the property manager made sure all of our needs were met and Javier helped us with scheduling excursions. Highly recommend.

Perfect House

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa de La Paz. Great location with wonderful views. The property was fully stocked with all we needed. The one thing missing, however, were beach chairs,which would have been nice to have. Overall, however, the house manger and concierge were very friendly and accomodating.We would highly reccomend this property to any group.

What an awesome find!!!

This property was in a great location! The property management group was great to work with. The house was fully stocked with all the necessities. The pool was amazing and the view was even better. The drive up to the house is very steep and windy, but so worth it. Our very little suv was huffing and puffing to get up. Lol! Playa Hermose beach was so close and great.

Wonderful experience!

The home is just as lovely as the pictures show and the views are equally amazing. The staff was very helpful and attentive and even assisted us with some touristy arrangements.the location is close to the beach and restaurants, without the noise and crowds. It was a wonderful retreat after sight-seeing!

Fantastic property and property manager!

Our stay was great from start to finish. We were met by the property manager who walked us through the house and advised on nearby activities. The house was very clean and in a quiet spot with an amazing view. Super close to Playa Hermosa and the grocery store. The kitchen was very spacious and nice to cook in. The finishing touch was the prompt and gracious help we got retrieving jewelry and keys we had stupidly left behind. I got an immediate text from the cleaning crew, the manager sent the items in a taxi to the airport, and even communicated constantly as we weren't allowed to go back through security to meet the taxi. The airline agents and the taxi driver cooperated to return the items before we boarded. Everyone could not have been more helpful and understanding and lovely. We will return!

Amazing Views at Casa de la Paz

This house has some of the best views you can ask for in this part of Costa Rica. The house is really well kept and had more than enough space for the 5 of us. The Zindis group is really good to work with, very professional. The hill leading up to this house is serious, you don't need 4 wheel drive but it sure helps. The town is a bit sparse, but we found the Luperon grocery store and the Paws breakfast spot to be really great. Stop by the souvenir shop next to Luperon for local gifts and local art. Laid back feel in Playa Hermosa that was great for us.

Truly perfect

We have been to CR 5 times but this was our nicest home so far. Very spacious living space, great bedrooms. Gorgeous pool and view. And the mamagement team was extremely helpful. All round wonderful experience

A little slice of heaven

What a wonderful home in a lovely community with a breathtaking view. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and also be together in one of the many gathering spaces. The house was spacious, private, and clean! Kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. Would happily stay here again. Thank you!

Absolutely loved it!

This house is absolutely beautiful! The view of Playa Hermosa/Gulf of Papagayo is stunning! We were 4 couples with no children. The bedrooms all had great views. The house was in great shape and well appointed with everything we could have needed. The AC and all appliances worked well. The pool/pool area were great to hang out in and stare at the water. It is a very short drive to Playa Hermosa & a 10 minute or so drive to Playa Coco. I definitely recommend Ginger’s Restaurant which is right down the street. Our entire group agrees that if we are fortunate enough to be staying in the Playa Hermosa área again we would 100% want to stay in this house again.

We had a great time at this property. It was exactly as advertised and perfect for our group. Our only complaint was that the pool was cold, but it was end of December/January 1 so it’s to be expected. Would def. Stay here again.

Friends Getaway

Our 1st trip after Covid and the group of 5 of us adults had a fantastic time. House lived up to expectations! The only downside was the beds were a little too firm but we didn’t make it spoil our trip. View was fantastic! Great restaurants and beaches close by! Also, would be a plus if some beach chairs were provided with the house ( just a thought). Will definitely be back to Costa Rica! Nice to be in a gated community! Glad we got a 4x4 to go up and down the hill.

Spectacular stay in a perfect home

We are two NYC families with teens visiting Casa de la Paz—and this house was a stand-out part of a fantastic two week holiday. We LOVED this house. It seemed perfect in every way. Luxuriously spacious, understated decor and design, and the house maximizes its best point—jaw dropping views from every bedroom and all parts of the home. We found it quite difficult to actually leave the house to tour about—so welcoming and perfect. This was quite frankly the best home rental any of us have ever experienced, including a villa in Italy and beach front on Hawaii’s north shore before the pandemic. This home has us seriously considering our retirement options! Please don’t book because we would like to have it open for our return visit!

Wonderful family vacation

Beautiful home! Perfect for our two families w 3 teenagers. The home was gorgeous and the pool was awesome. We had several adventures planned and it was all so easy. Definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful House

This house has a great view, beautiful common areas and is very well located. Close to many important beaches. The only small detail is that the pool´s design is not the best, it is small and the stairs are too big for the pool's size. But we stayed there with 2 kids and it was ok, we had a blast!

Beautiful vistas and gorgeous home! Paradise!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is spacious, comfortable, beautiful and well appointed without being ostentatious. It offers open concept living and has a spacious outdoor patio. It is a perfect paradise for your time in Costa Rica. The view is breathtaking at anytime if day or night. Side note: if you love to sing, the high ceilings and spacious open living space has great acoustics! Also, with 4 bedrooms each with its own en-suite, it can accommodate large families or groups. The bedrooms provide a nice, quiet and private space. Every room in the home has an incredible view of the ocean. Hermosa is a truly delightful community with restaurants, shops, art, etc. and nearby communities offer lots of adventure as well. People are friendly and helpful wherever you go. Hermosa is a relaxed community and bids one to slow down, relax and simply enjoy life. Casita de Mariscos and Ginger were our favorite restaurants as well as a couple of places the locals recommended for true authentic food. Just ask the staff. Be sure you have an international internet connection on your phone for google maps as paper maps are not helpful and roads not well marked. Rincon National Park is a great park with lots of birds, wildlife, streams, hot pots, gorgeous vegetation, forests, hiking and adventure. Go early in the day to make the most of the offerings at the park. It gets very hot by midday. The black sand beach and tide pools at Ocotal are fascinating. The staff at Zindis was very helpful with any questions we had. The property was well cared for, clean and properly maintained. We would recommend this home to anyone. And everyone! We will be returning again next year.

Gorgeous modern home with views of the Pacific

Every aspect of our stay was 5 star: beautifully designed home, easy access to the airport and to the beach, 180 degree gorgeous views, and terrific restaurants, both nearby (Ginger, Aqua Sport) and only 10 minutes away in Coco (Mar Azul-great place to buy fresh fish too- and Cafe de Playa). The house was clean and well maintained, and the numerous ceiling fans both inside and on the patio kept the air flowing, with A/C available when we needed it. The house design, with open spaces and sliding glass doors opening to the patio and pool, helped to easily accommodate our group of 6. The bedrooms provide privacy and the rest of the house and patio offer plenty of spaces to either spread out or hang together. We stayed 2 weeks and took several day trips and overnights (only 2.5 hours to Monteverde Cloud Forest and to Arenal). I highly recommend this home and location!

What A Beautiful Place!

What a beautiful place! I can't decide which is more beautiful - the roomy, comfortable house, or that amazing view - both are dazzling. The house - with 4 bdrms and 5 bath rms easily accommodated our group of 6. The open design with spacious rooms and the large sliding glass doors (facing the bay view) made the patio another room. We could have comfortably accommodated more guests. The house kitchen is large, well equiped, and fully functional. The location was convenient to great beaches and a number of very good restaurants and bars. Overall we found the home to be clean, comfortable, beautiful inside and out, and a great place to relax! We have already recommended this rental at Playa Hermosa to friends and family. We hope to return here again.

Absolutely perfect!

The house is beautiful and very well planned for the site. Very comfortable for indoor and outdoor living. We enjoyed the pool, the sunsets and even a moon eclipse. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms with their own bathrooms well furnished and each has the ocean view. Found good restaurants nearby. Also local produce. Good papaya, mango, and watermelon. Great fresh seafood. A trip to Guaitl to see local pottery being made as it has been for generations was very interesting. Another good find was Hidden Garden Art Gallery featuring many local artists. Would happily stay at Casa de la Paz again.
